Rafe stands on the dock, asking Sami & EJ what they are doing there. Silence. He asks what is with the suitcase. Silence again. Finally, EJ says he is going on a trip, a business trip. It is like pulling nails for Rafe to get answers, he keeps it up, asking Sami what she is doing there. She claims to be going to pick up Johnny, just ran into EJ there. Rafe says it is a bit early to pick up Johnny, she claims she was going to go shopping. He asks EJ where he was going….EJ says Chicago, Rafe comments the dock is NOT on the way to the airport. Sami looks more and more uncomfortable, more silence, until finally EJ says to “tell him already, tell him…….do you want to, o.k. I will”. Sami says no, she will, and finally tells Rafe they got a ransom note, she said to tell no one, especially you. He asks when, Sami sheepishly says Christmas. Then says they just got the instructions on where to bring the money an hour ago. Rafe curtly tells EJ to go put the satchel at the drop off location, then takes his phone out. Sami is having a fit, he is calling the FBI, she blathers about Sydney being killed if the FBI or police get involved. Rafe just looks at her, telling her to trust him, that keeping Sydney safe is his first priotity.
Now they are all back at DiMansion with some FBI agent, who has bagged the ransom notes, Rafe asks both EJ and Sami for their phones, and gives them to the agent as well. The agent promises to get whatever info they can from the phones and leaves. EJ decides to give Rafe & Sami some privacy and goes out in the foyer. Sami is trying again to explain about not telling him, the threats, how she was going to tell him a million times, but was so scared. She asks how he knew where she was, anyway…was he following her. Rafe just says an FBI agent was following her. She smugly says something about not being the only one who was not trusting. Rafe calmly tells her the difference is, in his case he was right. Out in the foyer, EJ is unsuccessfully trying to call Anna. He is yelling, saying how Rafe knows everything, and she is to call him immediately.

But unbeknownst to EJ, Anna has decided on some plan of her own. She tells Sydney she has to leave for a while, but will be right back. She says she is giving Benny the baby monitor, he is right outside the door, and if Sydney makes one cry, he will be right in. She must have left her phone, as we later see Sydney sitting, munching on her Cheerios, hear a phone ringing. (EJ is calling again, is getting furious).

Carly & Bo are outside Maggie’s, she is trying to tell him how things went so badly, she thinks she has to tell her the truth, when Melanie comes out, wanting to know what they are saying about her. She has them come in, and now lights into them both. Bo claims they were not talking about her, but about Hope….and that sets Melanie off again, she yammers about them sleeping together, wonders if Carly could be pregnant, berates Bo for not using condoms. Carly denies that, Bo tries defending Carly, but Melanie cannot stand Carly asking her all these questions about her life, she doesn’t know her, why does she keep doing this, drives her crazy. She wants her to stay away. Finally Bo & Carly leave, returning to her room. Carly does her poor me, my daughter hates me routine, Bo pumps her up, telling her she did the right thing at the time, giving her baby away, and eventually Melanie will understand. Carly leaves for work.

Arianna is tending to Brady’s wounds in her room (and here I thought Gabi said she was down at the police station???) and I guess both figure a roll in the hay is the favored treatment. In afterglow, both mention Melanie having called them. Brady goes for a shower, Ariana gets a call from Roman, there is a problem. Later, downstairs, Roman is telling her that the higher ups are pulling the plug on the undercover ploy, Arianna has a fit, would have to return to jail. She begs for a chance to talk to them herself, Roman thinks it is useless, but finally agrees to a conference call. Outside Troy is on the phone to El Creepo, the hit man, telling him he is fired, that Troy will do the job himself. Even later, Arianna is on the phone with “Caesar”, trying to talk him into giving her another chance, when Troy comes in, she hangs up, Troy tells her something big is happening, he will meet her in ½ hr. in her room, and maybe Mr. Big will even be there. Arianna thinks that would be perfect.

Brady arrives at Maggie’s to see Melanie, who tells him that she is going to ask Arianna to be her maid of honor, but don’t tell her, she wants to tell her. Now she has a favor to ask of Brady…….he says he absolutely will not be a bridesmaid (LOL), but she says she was going to ask Mickey to give her away, he was the nearest thing to a cool dad that she had, and Max is busy in London, so….will Brady give her away. He talks a bit about her giving up nursing school, when she loved it so much, she thinks maybe she can get Dr. Jonas to give her a leave of absence, freeze her credits, and calls the hospital. Brady agrees to give her away.

Vivian & Hope meet up in the K mansion foyer, and Vivian immediately brings up Bo’s adultery, advising Hope to get revenge on Carly. (wonder if Kinsey & Vivian are related..they both are extremely rude) Hope mentions thinking something else going on with those two, some deep dark secret, Vivian pretends not to know, but thinks Hope should try and find out. Hope assures her she will try and leaves. Outside, she flashes back to searching Viv’s closet, finding the puzzle box, and murmurs that Viv knows something, so does Bo, and she is going to find out what.
Viv calls Gus, has him come over, and tells him about her restraining order, and how it hampers her. She berates him for not getting more info, insists he get a birth date, cuz once she finds that out, then Carly and her daughter are hers.

Hope & a protesting Maggie (oh, man, she looks absolutely gorgeous!) enter the Java Café. Maggie insists she has to go over to Alice’s. Hope knows Melissa is there, and Maggie has to let someone tend to her. She just wants Maggie to have a few moments to relax. Maggie, tho, wants to keep busy, she wants to tend to others, then zeroes in on Hope and her problems with Bo, reminding her how just a few days ago Hope told her she wanted Bo back. Hope admits this is true. Maggie tells her if so, then tell him that, put up a fight, don’t let go so easily. Don’t waste a minute.

Melanie comes into an empty Dr. Jonas’s office, figures she is going to have to wait a bit for him, sits down, even putting her feet up on the desk. LOL. In comes Dr. Manning, Melanie’s face falls…what are you doing in Dr. Jonas’s office? Carly replies he is in emergency surgery, she is cov erring for him, something about a student nurse. Melanie says …that would be me. “So….what can I do for you?” replies Carly.

EJ returns to the study, realizing that Rafe & Sami have not settled their issues, He asks if everything is all right…then that he knows that was a stupid question. Rafe gets a call, takes it to the foyer. EJ tries to tell Sami they were following instructions, told not to tell. Sami don’t care about no instructions, all has gone wrong, and now Rafe hates her. EJ angrily says this is not about her and her bloody boyfriend. Sami knows that, she knows that. But if they had told Rafe to begin with, he could have helped them. He would have known what to do. And now they are never going to know if they did the right thing to get Sydney back. I just want her back. Sami is crying….Rafe comes into the room, Someone as been spotted at the pier, across from the ransom money.

Thanks for taking time out of your Saturday to do this, Poirot. Heck, thanks every day! Melanie seems like she is a little over the top about Carly and Bo. Why is she so protective of Hope? They have not been close.

Looking forward to seeing Melanie with Brady, Hope with Vivian, and Hope with Maggie.

Thanks for the write up Poirot. Boy after all Melanie has done to Carly and then have to go to her for a favor. How funny. Something tells me that Carly will help her out.
I am so worried that Troy is not going to bring Mr Big in, but is setting up to kill Arianna again.

Where was Anna going...??? That poor woman doesn't even realize she's fallen into a cave with a rattle snake....poor Anna....

Arianna has done her best to help the police, why should she have to go back to prison...?? They have put her life in danger, you would think they could call it even...!!

Rafe and Sami are doomed....heck, Sami is doomed....stupid twit....

Can't wait to see Maggie.....

I guess Melanie and Carly are going to be in scenes together alot now....man, I just developed a massive head ache.....
