I loved at the end when Anna tells EJ he is alone and lonely and he replies so is Sami cut to Sami and Rafe in bed. Boy will he be upset when he gets the news that Sami and Rafe are back together. Just loved the Sami and Rafe scenes.

I hope Rafe solves the Sidney kidnapping mystery; I think he will make a good hero. And maybe Hope (who I can't stand right now) will save Melanie and reconnect with Bo.

Paxton, I do think EJ loves Sami, in his own demented Dimera way. It might not be all lovey dovey the way other couples fall in love on the show, but the guy did grow up with Stefano as his father. . . look at the way Stefano has shown love to his family/lovers in the past. If he had those as his examples of love, could you really expect him to understand how to really love someone the right way? He is also a rather immature and very narcissistic character which impedes his ability to show true love to anyone. I for one enjoy watching to see if he will ever be able to show true love for Sami (or anyone actually).

Anyway, thanks for the write up Poirot! Monday's show looks really interesting. I'm looking forward to seeing the scenes with Anna and EJ. I also agree with what everyone's said about Nathan. If he hasn't got the guts to just come out and say how he feels about Melanie, then maybe he doesn't deserve her.

These episodes lately are putting me to sleep. The constant on/off again relationships, the nonsensical comings/goings. The lack of continuity. The absence of any shred of romance.

Looks like all week will be building to the wedding....and every one is Salem is somehow connected to it....I love it...!!!!

Looks like another day for me to feel bad for Stephanie....that poor girl needs some serious help.....she doesn't have any more self esteem than she had when she was with Jeremy.....and Nathan needs his butt kicked for what he is doing......

Rafe and Sami are doing the old Philip/Stephanie on again off again stuff.....I do like them together though and hope they can get past their problems...they are tough ones though.....

Anna is great....I don't see her being much different than before though, she's always been a ditz, a very funny ditz actually.....wish she were sticking around longer.....I think it would be a hoot for a goofball like Anna to take EJ down finally...!! Of course, that won't happen but it would be funny.....

EJ is a grown man, and a world traveler, who should know right and wrong by now. We don't know when Stefano took him from Susan though. Sure he had Stefano as an example, but he should have learned something on his own. It's his own fault he's the way he is.

It was my understanding that Anna was short term....don't know if I read it or dreamed it or just decided it, though...!!! I get that way sometimes....

PAllison, you're right .... there was an interview, I think, with Leanne(Anna) when she got the job ... and supposedly, it was for a 'few days', not long term. ...

No, he doesn't love her. He's obsessed with her. There's a difference.

If you look at EJ/Sami/Rafe, it's Sami/Austin/Carrie all over again, only with a more sinister twist.

Carrie was the "perfect" daughter who could do no wrong. Rafe is the "perfect" hero, who seemingly can do no wrong. Carrie was able to see through Sami's shenanigans, but for some reason, incapable of stopping them or getting Austin to believe her most of the time.

Rafe sees through EJ most of the time, but Sami doesn't believe me for some reason, probably because she suffers from the same lack of brain cells that Austin had.

Sami was willing to do nearly anything to get Austin to love her. EJ is willing to do anything to get Sami to love him. It ultimately failed for Sami. It will ultimately fail for EJ. It's interesting to note that back in 1996, when Will was kidnapped by Mary, a lot of people suspsected initially that Sami was behind it. She wasn't of course, but it didn't stop her from using the kidnapping to her advantage later on. This time, EJ is behind it, and he will be using it to his advantage. And we also know that it turned out that Will wasn't even Austin's son - he was Lucas' (who is Nicole in the current scenario, right down to the history of alcoholism and the prison sentence). Hopefully the same thing will happen with Sydney, and she'll turn out to be Nicole's daughter.
