Happy St. Patty's Day, Noel and others to join. Currently riding the train to downtown and is starting out to be a nice morning. Parents arrived last night and had a visit then watched the movie Hidden Figures which was very good.
I love my parents, they're great people. Can you feel a big fat but coming on? But it's like we are in question period in the House of Commons or that we are on an investigation series like 20/20 when my mom comes to visit. It's like she is always fishing for information, verifying something that one of my sisters told her, in case our stories don't match, then we are hiding something. There's always a little tiny bit of hidden agenda to her questions before you get to what she is really asking.
Myself and my 3 sisters are always on our guard and careful to not let something slip in case one of us hasn't shared something with them yet. Hence, I thought it'd be a good idea to put a movie on so we could take a bit of a break from question after question after question after question.............after question. LOL!
Ok, that's my vent for the day. I love my parents. Ok, we ALL have had little irks when it comes to our parents. Who are you to JUDGE ME???!?!!?!! (Spoken in the voice of Dorothy Zbornak from Golden Girls, yes Poirot, that was for you!)
Hope everyone has a great day and a few toasts to my friends here.
May you die in bed at 95 years old, shot by a jealous husband or wife!
Here's to long life and merry one.
A quick death and an easy one.
A pretty girl and an honest one.
A cold beer, then another one.
There are many good reasons for drinking,
One has just entered my head.
If a man doesn't drink when he's living,
How in the hell can he drink when he's dead?
