Tuesday June 27:
Salem residents gather at the Martin house to celebrate the rescue from the Greek island.

Wednesday June 28:
Deimos has slipped Halo into the drinks at the Martin House party, and the attendees are hit hard by its effects.
Nicole and Eric share a kiss!

Thursday June 29:
Gabi stumbles onto a dead body.

Friday June 30:
Lani feels awful after implicating JJ, and guilty for kissing Eli.
 
So.............Deimos drugs all the guests, causing them all to have irrational behavior. Hope Paul is not among them, is safely in the hospital perhaps. He already is irrational with the Jungle madness.
Present story writing cannot end soon enough for me!
 
Monday June 26:
Anjelica and Adrienne get into a heated argument that gets physical. [It's surprising that Anjelica would risk her makeup, hairdo, and expensive wardrobe in some stupid catfight.]

Tuesday June 27:
Salem residents gather at the Martin house to celebrate the rescue from the Greek island. [Frankly, I rather see them gather at a hearing where amateur pilot Sonny has to explain he how managed to have no idea about where he crashed the K-jet. A scene where Victor tells Sonny that he'll have to pay for the lost jet out of his allowance might not be half bad either.]

Wednesday June 28:
Deimos has slipped Halo into the drinks at the Martin House party, and the attendees are hit hard by its effects. [Deimos is really regressing. The best he can do is a bad rerun of Jenny's donut party?]
Nicole and Eric share a kiss!

Thursday June 29:
Gabi stumbles onto a dead body. [Could it be a viewer who was bored to death by recent Days episodes?]

Friday June 30:
Lani feels awful after implicating JJ, and guilty for kissing Eli. [What Lani should really feel awful about is the terrible plots and dialogue the writers have been imposing on her.]

The grain of salt site says Gabi finds a dead body and JJ is a suspect. Hmmmmm, spoilers tell us that Lani kissed Eli. Maybe JJ saw the kiss and later Eli is murdered and Lani assumes JJ was jealous and killed Eli.:huh::confused:
 
Oh, soapy, it definitely is not Eli who gets murdered. With all his evil deeds against so many people, pretty easy to I.D. the victim ahead of time.

So.........a big party, everyone drugged. Gee, a salute to Agatha Christie, plus a twist on Murder on the Orient Express and Ten Little Indians.....(the twist being everyone being drugged)
 
But the surprise is going to be the killer, so......there IS a surprise coming.......hopefully!

Me, I love a mystery with a lot of "suspects". No alibis, Reasons galore, Clues all pointing (if there ARE any) at a few specific characters, none of whom turn out to be the ONE who done the deed. Thus we can have fun guessing, speculating, etc.

Honestly, I love Vincent Irizzary (Deimos), from GL, where he played two different characters, at different times, twins. But Deimos has been insufferable from Day 1. Yes there was a change in writers, just made Deimos worse than he had been.

Haha I thought of the book club donut party as soon as I read this!!!

A murder mystery plot can be fun and suspenseful if done right!! (please be better than the plane crash)

-Nicole and Eric are forced to work together to use the party to promote the Horton Center.

-The party is over as everyone wakes from their Halo-induced sleep to find themselves with strange bedfellows.

-Raines arrives to tell them they are all suspects.

-Chad meets with Abigail and both talk about what happened while they were under the influence.
