It is a wonder Days doesn't get embarrassed by the magazine's repetitive covers that seem to occur every other year or so. Glad this time the interview is NOT with Corday! Well, will be interesting to hear what he has to say, Ron Carlivati I mean.
 
I hope someone will do summary too. Soap Opera Digest hasn't put cover
on their site yet.
 
From what I understand, there are just a few areas who get access to the mag on Wed. It reaches most stores Thurs & Friday......(at mine I swear they only get 2 or 3, gone quickly. However, at $5 per mag, it is a pretty expensive, tiny mag. They used to cover some prime time "soaps", but don't recall in the few I have purchased, anything on This is Us, or any other "soapy" drama.

We will be looking for anything that comes up, for sure, about Days.
 
Funny how the cover of the magazine titles "Get ready for a whole new Days", but none of the characters are new. I don't mind John (of course), nor Marlena. I'm not sure about Will, as I find him coming back very, very stupid as we saw him die ! :rolleyes: And as far as Sami and and Kristen, I wish I never had to see them again (especially Sami). On a magazine, or on my TV screen ! :angry:

The only thing that would be new, is if John is seen more than once in a blue moon.

And the "focus on the vets" is good (again, except Sami and Kristen)... as long as there are good storylines. But I won't hold my breath.
 
From the interview with Ron C......what I get is.....the murder mystery was to be wrapped quickly, but he stretched it out, changed it (which sounds like he changed the killer, lol) and it will impact several couples/lovers, etc.

The quadrangle is going to be retooled more toward getting Chad/Abby back together

Lucas is going to have a big story

He is taking Anjelica's story into a different direction than was originally intended

Won't be neglecting vets, will be a focus on them, Steve & Kayla, John & Marlena, Hope, Victor & the DiMeras,

He wants stories to be involved with more than just one age group, his 1st story with a newly created character will begin in the New Year. He also mentions something about Chandler Massey's (Will) return, how upset so many were with his death, so want to "repair that damage, if he can."

Evidently the interview goes about 6 pages, so if anyone here can fill in, would be appreciated. We CANNOT COPY the interview due to copyrights.

Oh, yes, it has been posted his work begins July 19th.....and has John "good to be home"....so he starts right off the bat with iconic couple. Yayyyy.
 
Gotta say, I would really like to know who the original killer was supposed to be, lol. And agree. As to Anjelica, she came claiming to want the Spectator, but Steve now figures she is up to something else. (Script Tweak??)
