Hmm, mostly a fun episode, despite dragging a bit in places. Chloe is on the phone with Parker, when a knocking at her door. Tis Lucas, sober, coming to thank her for helping him with that whole Anjelica thing. They talk, he goes on about how he swore it was Adrienne in bed, all hot and heavy, ready to go, doesn't understand how it could have been Anjelica. She reminds him that although he has had a bad time of it, after losing his son, then Adrienne change of heart, he has a lot of people who care about him, who love him, and asks him to please go to a meeting today. He promises, and after a hug, takes off.
Adrienne has finally been let out of solitary, but the guard says if she doesn't behave, she will be going back. She asks when she gets her phone priveleges back, he gets ticked off at her asking favors already, says it will be 3 weeks. She will do anything, he looks her up and down, gets the wrong idea, she catches on, will let him know later. A bunch of inmates come in, have some goodies, sort of a celebration, Sheila is being released, there is a card to be signed. Adrienne takes advantage, writes a note to Justin, then gets Sheila aside, has to a lot of talking to convince her to take that card to the Kmansion, give it to Justin. She will get rewarded, lots of money, not to worry. Sheila is hesitant, but finally agrees to do so, takes the card.
John & Marlena try desperately to get out of their ropes & harnesses, to no avail. He asks what the electro shock does, she explains there can be forgetfulness, he thinks they have too many to allow that, tries all the more to free himself.
Paul comes to see Hope, needs her help, his dad is missing. Marlena said he was on a mission, but Shane says no, he is not. So Marlena lied. Weird. Hope agrees, and they go to find Marlena.
Replay in the square of "Marlena" announcing Andre' as being mentally incompetent. Andre gets upset, not true, she gave him a clean bill of health, but Marlena says he is dangerous, recites a long list of his crimes over the years, posing as Tony for years, kidnapping, Salem Slasher stuff, (tells the reporters to look it up), and saying he is mentally unstable, should be committed immediately. Andre is having a fit, Roman gets hold of him to hold him down, two guys in white coats haul him off.
Paul & Hope have arrived, get filled in. Jennifer gets a statement from Kate, Roman talks to Hattie, firmly telling her there can be nothing between them, there is no longer any spark, etc. Hattie's face falls. Then, Roman is telling Hope & Paul this is just not like Marlena, then tells the tale of Marlena dumping John, and planting the kiss on him, out of no where. As Hope listens, her face changes, she tells Roman & Paul they are right. It is not like Marlena, because that is not Marlena at all.
At the Kmansion, Maggie, Bonnie, Justin & Victor are having "tea & scones", as Maggie makes comments about Anjelica being in Adrienne's room, and then showing up dead. Bonnie is taking offense, wondering if Maggie is accusing her of anything. Nope. Justin learns and tells that Anjelica died of natural causes, was a heart attack. Maggie did not mean to hurt Adrienne's feelings. Victor asks about Holly, wants to see his grandchild (??) spend time, Maggie goes up to get her. Justin gets a business call, goes off to take it privately, leaving Bonnie to flirt a bit with Victor, get on his good side or something. She pretends to be tearing up, sobbing a bit, Victor ignores her, she asks for a tissue, he hands one, goes back to his paper, she gets loud with the sobbing, he asks if something is bothering her. She starts in, tearfully complaining that Maggie doesn't want her there, was accusing her of something about Anjelica, and even made her answer the door, treating her like a servant, doesn;'t want her there. Victor notes that Maggie may be upset about her dumping Lucas, who is family, etc. Bonnie pours it on, Vic will speak to Maggie, oh, no, that would make it worse, just between us, she pleads. He agrees. She smiles, thanks him, compliments him, her hand goes on his knee. He looks at her in surprise.
Andre is brought into Bayview, a room where John & Marlena are also being held. He stares in disbelief, thinking some trick is being pulled on him. Marlena finally convinces him that she is Dr. Evans, that this is all Hattie Adams, who has been impersonating her for weeks now. (And with 3 guards in the room, listening to every word, not a one does a thing). Andre is flabbergasted, but realizes it now all makes sense. He begins shouting that this is all a mistake, they all need to be released, Hattie needs to be arrested, she is crazy. Of course he gets dragged off, put in a strait jacket, & into a padded room. He swears Hattie will pay for this.
Hattie is in her hotel room, sorry she won't get Roman, but happy she got revenge on Alfie. Now she had better get out of town, before they realize what she has done. She starts packing. Knock, Knock. She opens the door to find Hope standing there. Hello, Hattie.
Justin has ended his call, is going back to rejoin Adrienne (Bonnie) & Uncle Vic, but someone is at the door. He opens to find Sheila standing there. Can I help you? I think we can help each other, she replies.
