Days ends the summer with Chandler Massey's (Will) return, and there's lots more to come!

Chandler Massey (Will) is the first of many returns planned by head writer Ron Carlivati and story consultants Sheri Anderson and Ryan Quan. Massey's interview with the New York Post this past weekend confirms that Will's death scene has been re-shot, meaning Robert Scott Wilson (Ben) will be returning (for newly created flashbacks at least). Alison Sweeney (Sami) and Kassie DePaiva (Eve) are back in October. William Utay (Dr. Rolf) will be back by Halloween. Eileen Davidson (who has played both Kristen and Susan) returns in a yet-to-be-announced role around November. Martha Madison (Belle) and Brandon Beemer (Shawn) return, along with newcomer Victoria Konefal (Ciara), before the year is done. Returning right around New Year's Eve is Louise Sorel (Vivian), joined by Daytime Emmy winner, and "Days" newcomer, Tyler Christopher. Lisa Rinna (Billie) will be back in early 2018. Be on the lookout for some other surprises as well!

LOL, gosh, I remember when Rolf was dead for a while, then showed up as a butler/valet in DiMansion when John was Robo John. Sami said "but you are dead" & Rolf just replied "it didn't take". LOL

I think that's still unofficial based on that video we saw from Ice Cream Day

I really hope Ron sees the importance of having Belle and Shawn in Salem permanently, even if this is a short visit this time around.

I'm guessing Wayne Northrop (ex-Roman/Alex), someone to play Bill Horton, a recast Joey and Stephanie, Leann Hunley (Anna), and Carrie and Austin might be some other returns.
 
I wish I was happy about these returns. But some of these just make me... oh, :angry::angry::angry::angry: See? I can't find the words.

Sami, oh, no, no, no, not again! :beat::angry::angry::angry:Can't stand this character, never could, never will.

Kristen : no, no, no, no. Enough, already. And Susan annoys the heck out of me, I don't find her entertaining at all. Much like Hattie and Bonnie. Ridiculous.

Speaking of ridiculous. Will... A reshot scene? I thought the first one was difficult. I don't want to see yet another thing like that. What? Rolf stops Ben and brings back Will from the almost dead? :rolleyes: I can see no way for Will to come back without it being absolutely ridiculous. Again, makes me think of the movie "Soapdish" : "But he doesn't have a head!!!!" :rolleyes::angry:

And I'm with Noel. Meanwhile, no Jack. :sad:
 
All these returns and still no Dr. Baker. Grrr!:angry: As for the other various returns:

Ben: If he's back for real, Chad better check the status of the DiMansion's fire insurance because Abigail just might rediscover the urge to play with matches;

Sami: This is bad news for all those she regards as doodyheads. And anyone who can't stand hearing "EJ has changed" again and again better invest in some good earplugs;

Eve: How long will it be before Lani starts worrying that JJ will once again fall under the spell of this older woman. Will Lani start compulsively checking Salem Inn rooms in mid-afternoon looking for trysting couples?;

Rolf: How fitting that he returns around Halloween;

Belle & Shawn: Thank God that they're back to keep Claire under at least a semblance of control;

Vivian: What ever happened to Ivan and Bollywood? Will she get the loyal Gus out of prison? In any case,Victor better polish up his anti-Vivian snark, change the locks at the K-mansion, and invest in more security guards;

Billie: Will Kate give her a job? For Billie's sake, let's hope so. After all, who else would? She didn't exactly impress with her bumbling, stumbling stints as head of Salem U. campus security or as an ISA agent.
 
So if Ben is on for more than just the flashback and realizes Will, whom he killed, is not indeed dead, would that run Ben crazier than he already is??? Just please no storyline like Ben is running around pretending to be Will.
