Have their car serviced...oil change, new brakes, tires, etc.

do laundry.....not even with babies in the house

clean house..as above, even with kids in the house (On Everybody loves Raymond, poor Debra was always picking up toys, doing dishes, vacuuming, & was only half hr show)

pay bills (even with the money tree, one should be needing to pay electric, Cable, charge acct, etc.)

Or ....balance a checkbook, sort of makes me laugh as since they all have endless supply of money, why bother?

I think one of the few times we heard about Salemites having money problems was when Sami said they had something like $40 in the checking account and she had to get groceries. Plus Johnny and Allie needed new shoes and Sydney needed new pants or something, because they had outgrown their clothes. Meanwhile, EJ and Lucas were both wealthy men and probably paid hefty child support when Sami had custody of the kids. That was when Sami started applying for jobs and got hired by MadWorld.

Now how did we get off track here? JS, my finger is pointing at you! LOLOL

Salemites also never take a shower, unless the male actor has to open the door with only a towel wrapped around him. :) And everyone does that, right? Who needs a bathrobe?

wear flats (women) no matter what they are doing, going to be doing, or have been doing. Go for a hike in the woods? Go shopping in the mall? Chase down & tackle bad guys?

go to a salon, as they all know exactly how to achieve any hairstyle on their own, at home, without any assistance. Heck, they even can cut their own hair.

Oh, yeah, cannot forget, never have to shave. Why bother? looking like they just tumbled out of bed, even when getting married or going to a tux event, doesn't warrant using a razor in Salem.

I was agreeing that no one has money issues, except in rare instances and gave the example of Sami and Rafe being short on money. And also agreeing with Noel that Salem kids never see doctors unless it's storyline related.

I loved that storyline with Sami and Rafe because it was realistic.

Never have to worry about getting a cold or the flu. Only life threatening illnesses happen in Salem. And if that's the case, there's always an international specialist willing to come to Salem University Hospital at the drop of a hat.

Going to work. Every time a character gets a job, we see them go to work for like a month and then it dies down. Plus everyone seems to have a flexible schedule.

Finding a drink. Every home seems to have a fully stocked bar set up.

Finding a sitter. Every child in Salem has unlimited and instant child care.

Programming a cell phone. All come preloaded with numbers and photos for every character in Salem.

Regarding hair, the Salem ladies often have very fancy or elaborate hairdos for everyday. There is no way they could do some of those hairdos themselves. You never see them fixing their own hair.

Or when there's a Halloween or masquerade event, you never hear/see them trying to put together a costume. They are all magically put together in tricked-out costumes, complete with the perfect props.

Ah, JS, those of us who recently have had to deal with those issues, appreciate that you noted Salemites never have that worry. :) (health ins., co-pays)

NEVER have to take out the garbage, heck they don't even HAVE garbage cans. :)

Is it because no one can cook that no one ever has to go check on the roast, mention being happy about the crock pot having dinner ready when they get home, or never mention they burned the chops, let's go out to eat. LOLOL
