Days of Our Lives

Abe is reading JJ the riot act at the hospital, insinuating that the only reason he shot at Theo was because he was wearing a hoodie. JJ is appalled, Lani tries to reason with Abe, but no dice. Hope steps in telling Abe to stop, he is better than this.

Kayla & Val impart the good and bad news. Theo lost a lot of blood, they were able to replace it, he is stable, doing fine. However, the bullet is still in his chest, has to be removed, too close to the aorta. If left in, could nick it, possible sever it. Val will do the surgery, Kayla will assist. Reluctantly, Abe signs the consent forms. Both he & Lani go to see the comatose Theo, giving tearful, heartfelt pleas to hang in there, they will be there for him.

Sonny comes in to see Will, who is not happy to see him, telling him to get out, leave him alone. Nope, Sonny is persistent, & while Will may not remember Sonny, he won’t give up on trying to get Will to remember his life before. He tells Will he has a brother, and 2 sisters, 2 grandmothers who argue over who loves him the most. (Will makes reference to Sami & EJ having 2 kids)…No, YOU have a beautiful 4 yr. old daughter named Arianna Grace. Will is silent, taken aback, he has a daughter? Yes, with Gabi Hernandez, and now they go round and round about Will being gay, Sonny saying he is his husband, yet Will has a daughter with a woman. Sonny explains Gabi was sort of his girlfriend, and Will had a struggle with who he was, but she discovered she was pregnant after Will came to terms with his sexuality. (No wonder poor Will is confused, sounds so convoluted……and all the while I am watching Sonny babble about him & Will, I can only think of poor Paul) He wants to take Will back to Salem, where he can see all the family and friends who love him, and it may help him to remember who he is. Will tells Sonny to go, Sonny says he loves him, and is not going to lose him again.

In their bedroom, John tells Marlena about Will being alive after all, how Susan lied, etc. Marlena wonders why Will stayed with Susan in Memphis, instead of coming home, John figures some kind of brainwashing or mind control. She calls the airline, has to see Will in person to determine what is going on.

At the cop shop, Hope takes JJ’s statement about what happened, how he came to shoot Theo. She is recording it, JJ goes thru it all, (including flashbacks) and says Lani can back him up. She will get Lani’s statement later. She then has to ask for JJ’s badge & gun.

Sami is trying to get Susan to admit that the fellow she calls EJ is really Will, that he is alive, but Susan insists Will is dead, dead, dead. Rafe figures it is about time to call in the Memphis police, Sami says no, but she wants to tear out the truth out of Susan’s throat.

Susan just keeps it up, throwing verbal jabs, how Sami is such a terrible person, tried to pass off Will as her sister's boyfriend's baby, had twins by 2 different fathers, says even dogs don't do that, just going on and on. Finally, Sami has had enough, and Susan gets a right cross to the jaw, down she goes.

I don't seem to remember that Lucas and Sami weren't married when EJ raped Sami.
I thought it was after the green wedding. If I have the timeline messed up, EJ still raped her after she had willingly made love with the man she loved, Lucas.

Seems like she divorced Lucas after the twins were born to marry EJ in that stupid "black wedding", when EJ was shot at the altar.

I am not liking the way JJ's story seems to be going. He was totally justified in shooting. Cops have a split second to decide and it looks like a gun. He can't beat himself up that if only he had said drop what's in your hand. I don't like how Lani doesn't seem to be backing him up. She has not related the suspect fleeing from them story to Abe at all. All she says is wasn't there for the shooting. I know it won't happen but Kate needs to come forward and explain why Theo was breaking in. He did have that handheld unit to override security codes. I am really hoping Theo doesn't die.

I like the Will story. It's crazy and I love crazy Days!! I started watching when Vivian buried Carly alive. :rotfl:

Why doesn't someone tell Will to just "ewe search" EJ DiMera and Will Horton?? Not only would there be an abundance of online articles from Salem, but I seem to remember Will and Sonny's wedding being in the Salem papers.
Susan would probably tell Will that anything on Ewe Search is fake news created by the same crazy Salemites who are telling him that he's not EJ.

On other fronts:

Never argue with an idiot: Sami and Rafe seemed to have forgotten that old maxim when they kept arguing with Susan and were constantly stonewalled.

How quickly they forget: With Theo in dire straits, not one person at the hospital said, "If only Daniel was here."

Inquiring minds need to ask the right questions: Now that she's done with the hapless JJ, Commissioner Hope needs to start asking why Theo was dressed in a hoodie, carrying a security-bypass device, and trying to break into a warehouse.

Be nice to our four-footed friends: Salem's dog lovers would not have appreciated Susan comparing their pets' sexual habits with those of Sami. (Kate would have loved Susan's remarks about the paternity of Sami's twins.)

Gee, has no one thought of the security cameras supposedly all around Horton Town Square??

Thanks, Poirot.

I hope there are security cameras at the door so Abe can see what Theo was doing
and it won't take Abe too long to figure out why.

It was interesting when Will was asking Sonny about having a daughter when he was
supposed to be his husband. That is hard to explain, but once you know Salem anything
can happen.

So why was Marlena calling an airline to get to Memphis? Did Sami take the jet?
Does John still have one?

Should we worry Claire fainted?

Since JJ had alcohol at the party, shouldn't he have told the person that called him?
Maybe someone else should have gone back to work.

What a dream for so many cast members, not only getting to work with Eileen Davidson (Susan) but to interact with the character of Susan. They must have had great fun. When Susan pulled out all the stops and said my son isn't a homosexual, I couldn't believe it. Poor Will. Being told he is EJ, once married to Sami, told he's gay, told he has a daughter with a woman. Getting mauled by a mother and husband he doesn't know. When Lucas shows up drunk that will just about do him in. Then Kate.

Wouldn't it be something if the writers have him fall for Gabi after seeing his daughter, and you can take it from there.:fan:
