Ciara's entrance!!!

Wow! This was the best entrance on set I have seen on Days. The new Ciara came in with a swooooosh!

Riding Bo's motorcycle/jacket, dismounting the bike, pulling off her helmet and throwing back her long, dark locks. Just like a spicy romance novel. Teeeeeeeeeeeeriffic! :clap:

The new Ciara also reminds me of a very young Hope. Just loved it.

What did you think of the entrance? ShaSha
 
I can't wait to see more of the new Ciara based on this entrance. Hopefully she keeps a little bit of an edge, but not a total out-of-control bad girl.
 
This new Ciara is quite edgy and I am definitely looking forward to her new storyline. ShaSha
 
I remember Hope as a young girl, and she was really sweet and had been sheltered. Her sister Julie, on the other hand, was more like this Ciara. Bo was a funny young guy, a biker/hippy sort. Not this angry Ciara. I hope they figure out what is eating at Ciara and help her.
 
The entrance was great until she opened her mouth. Ciara is conveniently forgetting that she blew her relationship with Theo when she was crushing on Chad. When she wrote that letter she became the interloper. I'm already done with the snot.
 
Perhaps some of Ciara's rage is her trying to overcome the trauma of her rape. Much of what she did, including dumping Theo and wanting to connect with "bad boys," followed her after the rape. Just something to consider.

If Teen Ciara 2 starts acting like the early Stephanie Johnson, the beleaguered, frazzled Hope will be working overtime to save her from herself. Recall that Stephanie ended up in the hospital after trying the absurdly dangerous stunt of standing up in the moon roof of a speeding car. Then her judgment of character was so bad that she became involved with petty criminal and all-star hunk Jeremy Horton and his sketchy Touch the Sky Airlines. It was this little adventure that resulted in Stephanie and Max Brady being pushed out of a jet by a criminal named Rawlings and his army of gun-toting Eastern European bimbos. If Rawlings hadn't inexplicably done them the favor of providing parachutes, Stephanie's stay in Salem would have come to a sudden, violent end in some southwestern desert. As for her revenge plans involving Claire, she'll be up against the combined efforts of Shawn, Belle, and Little Trippy (who's backed by the power of the mighty Steve). Revenge plans usually end badly in Salem (ask blockhead Brady) and Ciara's is sure to backfire in a big way.
 
I love Ciara's entrance, however, her scenes today have been whiny, annoying, and painful to watch. Her whole attitude of blaming Claire was not only a reach, it was completely ridiculous. I'm not a fan of Claire at all, but I really hope Ciara doesn't turn into "that girl", who is so far out there that she comes across as painfully stupid.

I have always liked the idea of Theo/Ciara pairing, but not with her new personality. I like that she has taken on the Bo persona, but I sure hope her hospital scenes today were a short lived glitch in the writers heads, because it was just plain painful!!!

Maybe the entrance itself was great, but I don't think this actress is right for the part at all. Bring back Lauren Boles (young Ciara)! I'm already hoping for a re-cast.
