according to Jason47, Ben Weston will be back. The actor, Robert Scott Wilson has been posting some setside stuff on Instagram, so evidently will be seen on our screens later on this year.

Don't know what Instagram is, thought it was a place to post pics, evidently not.
 
Yippee Ben's coming back. Viv's in town. Kate's in town. We have a trifecta of psychos. Maybe Sami can come back and screech. And Xander can come back and menace.

Because happiness and joy is NEVER freaking done in Salem unless it is a couple of seconds of cuddling after a sheet flapping event.
 
OH BOY, OH BOY, OH BOY!!!! Ben is coming back!! Love, love, love all of these returns even if they are for short stints. Days, or rather, Ron C., is is doing a stand up job of drawing on history and incorporating, even speaking about, characters not on the show.
 
It was just announced that Rob Wilson (Ben) has joined Ladies of the Lake, which is produced by Ken Corday. So maybe that's what he's filming?

This would be great. And if one or both of them somehow escaped from Ben, the writers could have them run into a gun-toting Xander whose latest mission from Victor is to get rid of Vivian and her alleged son.
Other possibilities, based on past past plots:
  • Vivian and her awful son go skiing at the Green Mountain Lodge and Xander blows up their chalet;
  • Stefan Zero and Vivian spend a weekend on Smith Island where Ben locks them in a cabin and sets the place on fire;
  • Ben and Xander cooperate to toss both the Big Zero and Vivian into the icy Salem River (and there's no Percy to rescue them);
  • While fleeing from Xander, Vivian and Stefan the Idiot hide in a crawlspace. Xander discovers them, blocks the exit, and turns the heat way, way up;
  • Xander kidnaps the unholy pair and flies them to a deserted Greek island where they are terrorized by demon goats and are compelled to survive by eating grass and prickly pears;
  • Ben and Xander force Vivian and StefanNo into what's left of the Salem tunnels and arrange to blow them up.

Ben and Xander kidnap Stefan and Vivian, and tie them to chairs in a small room. Then they tell Sami that Stefan and Vivian bad-mouthed EJ, and turn her loose on them. They also tell Sami that both Stefan and Vivian like John Black and think he's a swell guy. This makes things even worse with Sami's screech-athon.
 
It would be nice to hear a mention of Quinn, Viv's son and where he's at.

I enjoy Vivian and her zaniness, or should I say what the script dictates and character description. Louise Sorel (Vivian) does a bang up job.

I'm hoping her, Victor, and Maggie cross paths at some point.

I actually see Vivian summoning Ben to go after Chad and Abigail. But then again, Ben is seemingly trying to be a member of society again who knows maybe he may commit another murder.

And after a couple of hours of Sami's screeching, Viv and Zero drink the poison KoolAid.
