Hi hberg. Thanks for the friend request. My name is Loren (not pronounced Lauren, but like Sophia Loren - I know. It's strange. I hate my name). I feel like the forum is very one-sided too -- and I like to give EJ support when I can. He's not my favorite, but I do think he's an asset to the show and I don't loathe him like others do. He's done some very vile things, but he's a villain on a soap! I hated him, HATED HIM, when he was breaking up Lucas and Sami. I'm still so upset that ridiculous vendetta storyline, etc. ever happened. GRRR. For that I hate him (and Sami...and the writers). But now that that shipped has sadly sailed, he doesn't get me riled up. =) I somtimes feel like there are double standards, a little bit. Overall, I love this board and think the admins do a really good job. But there are times where things don't seem quite kosher. I dunno. I hesitate to mention anything, even here.

But anyway, thanks for friending me! I look forward to chatting =)

Hi hberg, and thanks for the friend request. It was my first one on here so I'm still learning how to do all this stuff, so hope I'm posting this in the right spot.
I just read briefly through some of the comments below and am so glad I'm not the only one that thinks the way I do! I do find this site to be very one sided and if you don't go with the majority you seem to be bashed for it. I spoke up on it once, maybe I went too far by comparing it to Hitler and Nazi Germany, but sometimes that's how it feels! But on the other hand I also love all the information that can be found here - mainly spoilers - and enjoy reading most of the comments.
I just posted a new thread for EJ Lovers, it will be interesting to see the responses it gets!

Seriously, we have to go there again? Not Going To Change My Mind. Laughable how people accuse those that like EJ's character because he is good looking. You don't see anyone accusing Victor, Sami, or Lucas fans of that same thing. Shocker. Love how every thread is an EJ thread :) YAY!!!!

You are so right Scarlett, I am constantly told to keep on topic and yet, in every thread the talk turns to EJ (without me even posting) and if I defend him at all - all of a sudden it's my fault. Most days this makes me laugh, some days I get so sick of it. Yet everyone conveiently forgets the awful things Victor, Sami, Kate, Stefano have done and if you dare bring that up - you are OFF TOPIC!

I posted a comment defending you and it was deleted. Nothing ever changes here. Many, including Barb, are like a broken record and the child who takes their ball and goes home when others won't play the game like they want to play. Hang in there.

I tend to agree but I'm apparently in the minority on that one,lol.

I feel your pain, that's why I hate this board. I wouldnt have registered if I'd known. I think I'm going to disappear for a while, cause I know they will bash Ej even more after Mondays show. I know that the writers are just throwing Ej's relationship with his children under the bus to pimp the awesomeness that is Rafe. Funny that they have to make Ej out of the character to make Rafe seem rootable, but see it still doesn't work for me, cause I know what the writers are trying to pull, and I absolutely refuse to support GT's pet.

Are you a member at Soap community, if not I suggest you join. I post there a lot, and believe it or not there are a lot of people who feel the same way as we do.
