Thanks, Cinco De Mayo--my birthday, as you probably noticed. When I first got on here a few years ago I had never been on a board before and everybody seemed so young, I figured I was older than everybody else. But now I know there are people of all ages here and that's really nice.

Oh boy, do we have things in common! We are missing two window screens, so I've moved the remaining ones around so I have a window on the east and a window on the west without screens, just in case I need to take a quick picture.

I got the idea of posting my nature pics on here after seeing some of yours...lol! I've been slow to update my profile on here since I've delurked. It's no special camera, just a Kodak EasyShare, the one that came with it's own printing dock. Before that I had a pocket Casio that I loved to death, but the zoom isn't as good as my Kodak. I have a friend that has a Nikon with all the different lenses and I don't think I'd know what to do with one of those!

I did make some adjustments that worked for other sites, but not for this one. It's OK, tho. I can always go use a computer at my son's or the sr center, if I feel the need.

Hey Judy, my phone does fine on every site but this one. I have trouble here with editing, quoting, PMs, friend lists. They are just not very compatible.

OC~ thanks, Just wish he was smiling that day.. I do miss the little boy days.. it was so hard to send him on his way this am knowing he did not feel well, just wanted to hold him and make him better.. he had that look in his big blue eyes today... melt your heart look

Thank you. We have all the pics I have here plus about 100 more on a website that I look at daily. Some days it is fine and other days I just cannot look at them....still very hard. The next couple of months are going to be hard as her bday is next month along with Thanksgiving and then Christmas. I heard that the first of everything is the hardest.

The girls are definitely challenging, but are tons of fun to be with most of the time. The youngest one is definitely a nut!

It looks so quiet and peaceful where you live. I wouldn't mind a day or two or a month out there. It is so hectic in a large city, although it has its perks. I lived in a small farm town for four years and loved it. I guess I can adapt easily. :)

Thanks for taking the time to look at my profile. I didn't think I was getting many visitors so I didn't worry about putting more pictures up. I will try to post more as I love taking them of random sights. :)
You have some nice pictures too.

Hi OC. I was just curious how long have u been watching Days and do you have a favorite couple/character?
    11. mandamiee
gosh, snow sure does look nicer in someone else's yard. what a nice view you have.

Hi OC. I love, love, love your photos. Beautiful scenery, and neat animal pictures. Even that armadillo is cute. My favorite pictures are of the tree in winter, your fence, and the roadrunner on the chimney. The roadrunners run behind my brother's house in the California desert. The only time they didn't show is when I got up early to watch for them.

Thanks for the comment on the pictures. My boys and neices mean the world to me and I show them off any chance I get.

Thank you OCG! He is the light of my life - has a cold today so he has been a little grumpy :-) Have a good night - Laura

OCG - It was a beautiful place too! I actually felt more at home in Venice and up at the Lake Villa. Milan is just too big of a city for me. I am not a city person. Even though I live so close to San Francisco, I avoid the city at all costs. I would be happy to never have to go there. Although, I will admit that I do like to go for plays and of course, the shopping...

I'm so very happy that you enjoyed the pictures. I'm glad to have such great friends to share with

I love your cake! Your DIL did a great job on it!
    17. tropical breeze
Morning, do not want to interfer with your DIL care, but they did a test on me after all of the IVFs were failing and they found out that there is a thing called "allegery to pregnancys". do you know if they have checked her blood for that? it seems the body thinks the pregnancy is a not suppose to be there. It did not occur in me till after Alex was born and we started all the IVF stuff, so it was not there to start with, it developed as we kept trying. Just a thought maybe to help out for the next time. I do not know what they do for it now -I'm sure something can be given to help that now.
