The Cop and the Bad Girl-A Rafe and Nicole Love Story

Oh Crap, Forgive me,, DD, I just posted my reaction to the chapter in the wrong thread... I read about it from my email, and then I do not have to stay on line long, and can come in and post my response, and darn if I did not just post it on the new thread, and I want one here too..... Please go and read that one too... Loved the chapter, and I know it will feed us hungry people, who are not in school, and learning all the wonderful things, as our leader, but will cherish the chapter that just came to us from out in cyber space some where.....:):drunk:
 
just read the last chapter. Please keep them coming, getting very juicy :) I want to read that Rafe knocks EJ off his high horse.
 
Chapter 105: Rude
"EJ, are you really just going to walk away from that room and let them get married? What is wrong with you? The EJ DiMera I know would never let this wedding happen!"

EJ rolled his eyes as he entered the mostly-empty Town Square, and turned around. "Samantha, there's no reason for you to follow me. Now please, just leave me alone."

"So what, you could just...grab a whiskey from the bar and drown your misery because of what Nicole said back there? Look, I understand why she would choose Rafe over you, but-"

"You're just making things worse, as always. It's not helping," EJ gruffly told her.

"What I'm trying to say is," Sami began, pausing for a moment, "we can't just let the two people we love get married."

"Samantha, I got the impression you were interested in reuniting with Lucas for the billionth time. Am I wrong?"

"Well, no, but-"

"At least you have options," EJ said harshly. "So why don't you just forget about Rafe and move on with the biological father of two of your children."

"Because even if I don't get back with Rafe, and I do end up with Lucas, I can't let that wretched woman ruin his life!"

"You've already done a fine job of that, my dear," EJ barked. "If you hadn't left Rafe because he didn't kiss up to you, none of this would've happened."

"And if you hadn't pursued me for some time, you'd still be with Nicole!" Sami blurted out.

EJ walked closer to his ex, bu then stopped and thought for a moment, smirking. "Perhaps you're right, Samantha. We've both come so far, and worked so hard to get the lives we've always wanted. For me, it was a family with Nicole. And now that our son is really alive, that dream can come true if Rafe is out of the way."

"And for me," Sami said with a smile, "it was a family with Rafe, or Lucas. The only problem is, which man do I choose?"

"You can worry about that later," EJ told her. "For now, let's stop this wedding. Let's separate Rafe from Nicole. I can start up that family again. And it'll be easier for you to decide who you want with Nicole out of the picture."
 
Wow DD, this is wonderful. So glad you are on the road more leisure, and will be able to spend all this free time that you do not have, on writing us the chapters to the story. It really is of great interest, and appreciation... Thanks Mr. Degrassi I have read and loved every one of the different chapters.... I will continue to do so... Nice to see you again...bless the USA.jpgSupport our troops DD, and Happy Memorial Day.... It is a real tear jerking day to me... By for now.
 
Thanks everyone. I'm sorry for just now starting up again. I know it's been a long time. School and a number of other things were keeping me busy. But I'm going to (probably) have a lot more time to write now. Thanks for not giving up on me/the story!
 
Chapter 106: Fancy
Nicole entered St. Luke's and fondly remembered her time working there. Although it was plagued by her forbidden love with Eric, and the downfall of their relationship, she had her fair share of good times here.

"Well, I didn't think I'd be seeing you here anytime soon," sounded a deep, soft voice behind her. Nicole turned around to see a smiling Eric in his priest uniform.

"Hey, Eric! It's good to see you. How are you doing?"

"Good. And I heard you're doing pretty well too."

"What do you mean?" Nicole asked.

"Sami called me yesterday. She was upset because you're marrying Rafe."

"Yeah, actually, that's part of the reason I'm here. Rafe and I are so deeply in love, Eric. I haven't been this happy for a long time. Heck, he even saved Daniel Rafael in Cuba! He could've been shot and badly hurt or killed."

"You were both so lucky to get out of there alive, healthy, and with the baby," Eric said, nodding in agreement.

"Exactly. And that made us realize what we'd been denying for so long, hiding deep inside of our hearts, even though we knew it was true. We are the loves of each others' lives. And I don't want to belittle the relationships he had with your sisters, or-"

"Or make it awkward between us," Eric guessed. Nicole nodded and the priest smiled.

"Nicole...there's no hard feelings between us. I hope we can still be good friends. It just wasn't meant to be. My place is with the church, and yours...your place is with Rafe. I chose the church over you, but Rafe never gave up on you at all."

"Yes, that's what I'm trying to say. And I do consider you a friend."

"I'm glad to hear that," Eric said, hugging Nicole. But as he let go, an interested and inquisitive frown creased his brow. "So what is it you want from me?"

"I was wondering...well, maybe not. I mean, you'll probably say no because it could be a bit awkward, but...will you be the one to marry me and Rafe?"

Eric's eyes widened as bit as Nicole let herself exhale.
 
Now that chapter dear friend is a wonderful addition to our story with you. Thanks for the work it takes to put down another chapter, and for being our faithful author of the novel of the month club... You are a darlin DD. I loved it, and I have to confess, I am always awaiting for the fireworks to announce another chapter is in the can.... Thanks again dear friend....
