The Blacklist

I just watched the most recent epi too & still loving it!! In that part like so many of Red's lines he was very witty!

The many twists & turns each week keep me glued to it, yet they still keep mystery on other parts. It's 1 of the very few shows that I just watch & not try to figure anything out beforehand. Excellent writing, actors & formula, but I do wish they would let the actress who plays Keene have her real hair.

Tom, Alan Alda's character & some others still have huge mysteries over them.

With the boss, can't remember his name, every time he talks all I hear is President Obama, from his tone to voice inflection.

I see why the show is a big hit.

I thought they were heading down that road when Alan Alda 1st showed up in that 2 parter, or at least have him "dead" for a while.

Probably my favorite thing about the show is that Red isn't just cold about torturing people, he always says something that's going to make you laugh. Like when he shot Diane, after the first shot he said "you talk too much". I was cracking up.

He had some good lines to & about Keene when at the narcotics dealer's place. "We're going into a narcotic dealer's house. Be nice." Then after the dealer said Keene sounds like a cop Red says "I've told her that too" & just keeps talking business. lol

I really want to know what's going on with Tom and this lady he's hanging out with. I have a feeling Red knows her. I wonder if he's planted her there, though.

Another great show…..I love how they draw you in, Red was telling some sad story, almost had me in tears, and they did a 360 degree turn in another direction, so you don’t know if he was lying or telling the true about his life. Just when you think you are learning something about Red, they leave you with doubts! But only a great actor like James Spader and great writers can pull this off!

Spader's line delivery is unparalleled.

Red's ties to Lizzie probably won't be revealed until the show ends, like when the "mother" was revealed when it was announced that "How I Met Your Mother" had one final season.

Lots of mystery surrounding Tom. I never trusted him.

I don't think Lizzie should be married at all...her job is too demanding, 24/7, always on call.

After last night I’m so confused, I first thought that Red was the villain, but as time went by I thought Tom was, but after watch last night I don’t know who is, maybe they both are! Great show!

Lizzie should've broke Tom's big toes so he couldn't keep his balance in case he got out of the cuffs like he did. Bad move to go for the thumb.

This show keeps getting better & better. The only thing continuously bothering me is how much the FBI boss guy seems to be trying to sound like & emulate Pres. Obama. lol

Must say I had not noticed that, but then I try not to listen to the President too often these days. The battle between Liz & Tom was terrific, and terrifying at the same time. I never can stomach a man abusing a woman. Gonna be interesting to see if we will be allowed to view what was in that safety deposit box. And for the record, I have loved James Spader's acting forever, From The Practice, thru Boston Legal, The Office, and now The BlackList.

His Red character is almost topping his Boston Legal character for me. Very different but the same delivery of humor lines.

I didn't notice the voice thing until I was half lucid, eyes closed listening & thought it was a news break. lol Since then I always hear it, especially how he pauses after every 5 words. I can't recall the characters name tho.

Glad to see the Pavlovich brothers back. Otherwise there would have been loose ends still out there from the 1st episode.

Love how Red brought Tom to Liz.

My question is, if Tom had set out with Red as his target the whole time... Why? How was he to know when he got with her that Red would begin working with the FBI; specifically her? I'm not buying it. Something is off. I also think whatever it is in that box, since he "planted" the key for her is a lie. Unless it's proof that he's her father.

I think Tom was "planted" with her in the beginning, because she was so good at what she did, and the "bad guys" figured, as her husband, he could learn enough to warn them. She DID spill bits of info to him, as tiny as they were. But, from the beginning of the series, many folks were leery of him. They were proved right.
When Red came into the picture and was adamant about wanting to work with her, he already knew there was a traitor in her home. He tried to let her know, and everything was building to this point.

would you believe I fell asleep half way thru the show. I have to catch it on demand. I love this show
