Sons of Anarchy (SOA)

Sons of Anarchy returns tonight for the final season.

I am still so upset about last season's finale. Any body else watch this show?

I have so many mixed feelings, I'm so not ready for tonight's season premier! I can't believe it's the last season. My husband and I are both glued to this show!

Yet, I'm also anxious to get to show time tonight to see Jax Teller and Gemma Teller Morrow (for those that don't know, Gemma is played by Katey Sagal, who also played Peggy Bundy in the comedy sitcom "Married With Children"). Katey is also married to the creator of Sons of Anarchy.

This show is so addicting!

Yes! I used to LOVE this show, but now I'm just watching to see if it gets any better. :( Gemma used to be my favourite character, but after those....unfortunate things (understatement of the year) she did last season, I don't really know anymore. Isn't Marilyn Manson guest starring sometime this season? That should be interesting.

Yes she is, as well as Courtney Love, who plays a kindergarten school teacher I think.

Not sure if I mentioned this on here before, I probably have but my buddy's Aunt and Uncle went to school with Kim Coates back in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and has had the opportunity to meet him. My buddy also does an improve show every Friday night kind of like Whose Line is it Anyway.

So, while Kim Coates was filming a movie in Saskatoon, my buddy asked if he would like to join his group and do some improve....an he did. They struck of a friendship and Kim asked my friend if he would want to MC his daughter's fund raiser that build wells for villages in Africa.

Long story short, about 2 years go this October, him and his wife went to L.A., stayed with Kim Coates and his family and went to the fundraiser where he met most of the cast from SOA. He said it was just so surreal being in the same room with all the actors from the show and having the opportunity to hang out with Katey Segal, the hunk who plays Jax, Ron Pearlman, etc.

One of the coolest things they did while down there, was Kim Coates giving them a tour of the set and having a beer at the table where all the decisions are made.

You have mentioned that before Muzzaman, that is so cool!

I was so ticked at Gemma last night. REALLY?! She told Jax that poor kid did it to get him off the trail? She is responsible for so many deaths. I want Jax to know the truth NOW...but we all know he won't find out until later in the season. That will be an awesome episode. He's going to FLIP!

Saw last night that the show would run 2 1/2 hrs. How can a series run that long for one episode? And it was the premier episode for the new season. Nope, way past bedtime then for me. Would never have lasted.

It was so good though Poirot. It's like a book you can't put down. You record this show thinking you will watch the next day....you end up watching that night because you have to know what happens. lol.. my hubby and I are hooked!

Like a train wreck you know is about to happen but you can't look away... lol

oh lol. that's ok. You probably wouldn't be that into Sons of Anarchy.
and if you ever were interested, there's always DVD sets.

:back:Those of you that do watch the show... is anybody else as mad at Gemma right now as I am? ugh. YOU KNOW they are going to drag it out the entire season, Jax won't know the truth until the end.

so... thoughts on the season thus far? I'm just so anxious for Jax to know the truth. Everyone that is dying is because of Gemma and her secret. It is awful. But man, it will be an awesome show when Jax learns the truth!

I'm with you, DaysLady! I was talking with a friend about it, she hadn't seen LAST weeks episode (yet) and I was trying to NOT spoil her, but did tell her "Gemma's NUTS, she keeps talking to DEAD Tara!" when she was "talking" to the birds, she was really talking to Tara. Now she knows about Juice and what happened to put him on the outs with the club. Also told her that Gemma needs to DIE. What an evil person, she's somewhat like Sami, everything she does is to protect her "family" - Jax and the Club.

this weeks ran long, too. I had to get up really early, but couldn't go to bed without finishing that "edge of your seat" show! HOLEY SOX! they've really turned it up this season.

i know... now we have to wait an entire week to know what Juice does to Gemma! I kind of DON'T want him to kill her yet. I want Jax to learn the truth- realize he killed and tortured innocent people because of mama's lie. I want Jax to get his say and punish her.

I think Nero is going to figure it out on his own. He's pretty smart. The wheels were turning this past episode when the lies aren't matching up...but it looks like he chooses to believe Gemma out of love. I think soon he'll figure it out. He'll feel so betrayed.

ugh! Gemma! lol.

I just LOVE this show. I watch it 2-3 times a week (I watch the new episode on Tuesday nights, and watch replays on Thursdays AND Sundays, lol!) because I can't wait for a whole week before I see those guys again. They're like a drug!
I also have the DVD's of seasons 1 to 6 and I love to watch them over and over... I can't get enough of Charlie Hunnam's butt :love:

exactly. I really think Nero already has an idea about it- but wants really bad for it not to be true, which is why for now he will choose to believe Gemma, whom he loves.

It was especially obvious in this week's episode, when Gemma's lies just weren't matching up. Nero was thinking and making a face and I could just tell the wheels were turning. I feel so bad for him. Nero was in a good place before Gemma showed up.

I know!!! I'm so excited!! FINALLY! Poor Abel. My heart just breaks for him. What a sweet little boy- and talented to boot- that plays that part so well. I just love him. Maybe when Sons is over Days can adopt him as Brady's SORAS'd child. LOL...
