Friday, 10/24- pre-empted, but most is here...

Off topic, Lil0 I wasn't aware you are on Whidbey Island. I have family & friends there & in Seattle & Wenatchee. It's horrible what happened.

On topic, There was a lot of comic relief today with Sami, Nicole & Kate. In addition to what is said already when Kate asks Sami if she's been drinking & Sami mentions Nicole then she says "you know Nicole. She's a lush" lololol I like slightly buzzed Sami. :)

Abigail sure is triflin & flip flopping a lot. I think Chad hit the nail on the head with his assessment of her. She confuses me with going back & forth with her being nice about DiMeras one day then downing them the next.

I really enjoyed today's episode with Nicole and Sami. It was nice of
Sami to let Nicole see Sydney before she left.

I wonder when tomorrow will be in Salem. That's when Sami is
suppose to leave.

I'm not sure what's going on with Will and Sonny. I had no idea they
had a problem until today. Couples are suppose to work together.
Just because one has a dream, doesn't mean you leave your loved
one behind.

Kate was funny when she heard Nicole was there Sami. She mentioned
to Sami about Harold on the garden hose :)

I wonder if Jordan wants to tell Ben the truth, but as usual
Clyde is peeping.

I'm really not liking how they are writing Sami out of Salem, stupid, way over the top, and just plain ridiculous! The only scenes I thought were any good today were of Nicole and Sydney. Very touching to see how much Nicole loves Sydney and how much Sydney loves Nicole.

Triple ditto on the above.

Ok, I've avoided saying this long enough and someone has probably said it elsewhere but I'm now officially nauseated by the way this show is portraying Will and Sonny. Will's wardrobe, Sonny's hair, seriously, these are two good looking guys in love and a long term committed relationship married, not some caricature out of a 1950s stereotype. Days went with a great story, great actors and some terrific sensitive writing. What the heck are they doing to this couple?

Will has been a Grade-A stooge and apparently wasn't listening to his own wedding vows.
Will is definitely a Grade-A stooge and is now getting a big fat F in the relationships department. Whoever told this guy that he had writing talent has a lot to answer for. Another failing grade goes to Jordan for continuing to withhold the truth about herself and creepy, child/wife-abusing Clyde. If she'd have told all, would Rafe have ended up back in Kate's bed? If she'd been candid about why she was all upset today, would the glib Chad and hot-headed Ben been on the verge of coming to blows? Another F goes to dopey Jill for not leaving town. Doesn't this one know what happens to flunkies who won't exit the stage when their job is finished? Arnold Finnegar and Sy certainly found out. On a positive note, the scenes with Nicole and Sydney were very nice. Hopefully, this is a sign that the writers are finally going to let poor Nicole have some happiness for a change.

I've said it before and I will say it again. I would so watch a spin off show with Sami, Kate, and Nicole. The scenes with these three are golden. I like that Sami/Kate and Sami/Nicole have kind of made peace with each other, but are still snarky. The only thing better than someone walking in on a hug between Sami/Kate or Sami/Nicole, and going "Huh?" Would be someone walking in on all three of them hugging each other.

I sort of tuned out the Abby/Ben/Jordan/Chad stuff as well as the JJ/Paige/Eve caper involving Jill

I did too, most of it. But I did manage to catch Rory telling JJ what we've been saying here : Why does JJ need to tell Paige something that happened before they were even born ? :beat: Leave it to Rory to make more sense than JJ right now.

And I'm willing to bet that indeed, Eve will blame JJ for her fall.

As far as Sami leaving for LA, though I think it's stupid and unnecessary (she could consult while not being physically present), I'm willing to accept it if that means no more Sami for a while.

And, once again : What a great character Nicole is, as well as a great actress portraying her. Too bad we don't have more scenes with her like that : funny, touching, heart warming, all in the same time. So, writers, take notes and use her !!!! I did hate, though, that in one of the flashbacks, we saw Sami call Nicole a "porn star". I wish this could be addressed once and for all in the show, by showing Nicole's struggle with that. Especially if the writers intend to go that route with the character of Jordan (my speculation : Jordan was sexually abused or served as an "escort" for Clyve's friends). Not that I care about Jordan anymore, nor do I care about Ben. I'm so tired of seeing the guy attack people ! What ? This guy can't use his words, only his fists ?

And Abigail is definitely her mother's daughter : She apparently can't stay the heck out of her former boyfriend's life (yeah, I know, she didn't mean it this time, still, I'm betting she would love to have both Chad and Ben fight for her), or other people's business. Enough with this perfect, crown shining, mother daughter duo.

I enjoyed the show, except Paige had better not believe what she overheard Rory saying. I did think Rory was right when he said that what Jack did has nothing to do with anything, though I understand where JJ is coming from--he doesn't know how to explain his own fears without referencing what his father did. It was nice to see the JJ/Rory team back in action. Too bad Rory had to lash out at JJ and insinuate that he wasn't really drugged. I would like to see more of Rory though, now that they've finally made him more than a one-note character again.

I also thought it was funny when Eve asked if Paige was studying with Rory. Eve should have left well enough alone. She doesn't want Paige breaking up with JJ and going with Rory instead, does she?

Also Ben did not need to go running to the park to tell Jordan not to date Chad. When will people learn to mind their own business instead of trying to control everything? :beat:

Eve had better not accuse JJ of attacking her. Maybe he'll have to call Daniel again like he did when Theresa OD'd and Daniel can tell him over the phone how to bandage up Eve's leg. I bet Eve is going to accidentally slip up in another way and confess without meaning to because she's so nervous Paige will find out.

I loved the look in Paige's eye when she confronted Jill. We need to see more of that fire in her. That was the first time I saw what JJ sees in her. More of that, less of her being a sex maniac, please.

And of course I loved the scenes with Nicole.:love::love::love::love::love::love::love::love: Especially her scene with Sydney at the end, though I also enjoyed how relaxed she was with Sami and how they were able to tease each other without coming to blows. THIS is Nicole, I don't know who that other person who is all sad and trying to get Eric to forgive her is.

What a great show. LOVED Nicole with Sami and Sydney! A lot of funny lines and sweet scenes. I'm actually starting to like Sami now, and have a list of people I'd rather have leave instead--Jill, Ben, Abigail, Will, Paige. OK, I actually want Sami to leave as well, but seriously! These characters are SOO annoying right now! Chad was completely right about what he told Abigail--you could tell from her facial expressions. And Ben had no right to be so rude to Chad! His OLDER sister can see who she wants.

Paige, of course, is believing the worst in JJ AGAIN!! I'm Team Eve! Break her and JJ up and get the petulant little snot out of Salem! And she can take Will with her, since he's acting just as childish!

I finally watched the episode.

LOVED Sami and Nicole. Though I did not like Nicole's comment about how EJ draws you back in. That's called abuse, not love. The icing on the cake here would be Sami telling her twin to wake up and get over it. I also would have liked the women to have discussed Rafe a bit more.

Will and Sonny storyline is so contrived. Pass.

I usually FF the teens but since I watched online I watched everything. Bravo Rory Bravo.

I'm really sick of Jordan. Either tell someone already or get out of Salem.
