I know I ask you mostly for prayers for my Julian.....but this is my best friend's daughter. We have been friends since 4th grade, she was my maid of honor, we are god parents for each other's daughters. And while this daughter is not my godchild, she is in desperate need of our prayers. Catherine has multiple physical problems, but was taken to the hospital because she was unable to breathe. She is in intensive care, on life support for the past 9 days, and has not been able to get enough oxygen still in order to breathe on her own. She is to get a tracheotomy on Thursday,in an attempt to get oxygen to her lungs. Please, if you can spare an extra prayer for her.......
 
She is on my newest prayer list Barb, and I shall inhale as much oxygen from here in the warmer climate, and with the muster we can muster, everyone I can gather in the name of our Lord, and breathe for her, and leave the transporting of the life giving moments to her. He can breathe into her to keep her going until the trach. can be inserted, and they should see great happenings during the first few minutes of the flow of oxygen.

How I pray that this procedure will make the difference in her physical self, and that it will bring back the color to her cheeks, and the brightness to her eyes. God loves this lady, I can feel it Barb, and I can feel the joy He feels when we get together even if it is over the computer lines, and pray for Him to intercede. We love Him for caring, and her for being the recipient of His hands on, and His breathing new life into her. We will have constant prayers going to our Lord in her name, Catherine, and the wonders of His guiding hands will be constant.... God Willing, He loves you all.... Me too.

Now on Sunday, heading for our wonderful day of Giving Thanks to our Father in Heaven, His special day, for our being in this country, for the food we eat, and all the blessings of the day, this is the perfect time to send some very special prayers His way, for the ones here, that we love, and Catherine Mary is very dear to my heart, for many reasons, and imagine how wonderful He, our Dear Father In Heaven, must feel, as He beams with that certain twinkle in His eyes, and knows the beginning from the end, and all the birds in the trees, and the turtles in the lakes. He must have that Love that is beyond what a mere person as my humble self, can express with words. Very special prayers on a very special day. Barb, Thanks for letting us all know about Catherine Mary. The prayer express is leaving to deliver our messages immediately...
 
Catherine now had a trach tube, plus tomorrow they will be putting in a feeding tube, (currently is in nose, will be putting in stomach, and removing the one in nose.
she is breathing better, oxygen levels are rising
 
I am thankful they are going for the direct way to feed her, and get the one out of her nose. Thanks Poirot, for the information, and she, you, her family, and all the doctors and nurses included in this procedure are covered by the prayers. God will be there to direct the talented hands of the surgeons, and she will have the best care givers. Even Santa gives Thanks to the Christ Child.

Update......Catherine was doing o.k., had been transferred to a nursing home, but just before Christmas she took a turn for the worse, is back in the hospital and on life support. If you can spare a few prayers, she needs them badly. Blessings!
