Days of Our Lives--Monday, 3/02/15

Hey--why waste the money? LOL

BUT another thing is, don't the vast majority of all hotels only accept you alone if you're 21? I guess there's a slight chance that Roxanne could've stayed at the hotel by herself, but it probably wouldn't happen in real life.

Good show today! I suppose Marlena tried her best with Will but seriously she had to be having deja vu to many a conversation with Sami after she did something wrong. If Will starts excusing his behavior because of witnessing Sami and EJ have hate sex then he really is his mother's son. Sure it makes little sense that Sonny never mentioned anything about Paul, but I feel like Will is trying to equate that with what he did and that's just appalling. Will is scum and I'm actually hoping he leaves town when the new writers take over. I know it's mostly the writing but I have just never warmed up to this actor and in fact he grates on my nerves. I'm hoping Sonny leaves him and then maybe way down the road he can forgive Paul and get back together with him.

Looking forward to the story surrounding Tori, John, and Marlena.

I'm glad Abigail had the Salem Brain today and called out her mother for her plan to break into Eve's apartment. Too bad Jennifer just can't let things go. She certainly got an eye-full today! Can't wait for the fireworks tomorrow! Serves her right for walking into someone's hotel room. How convenient that JJ didn't fully close the door after Roxanne left and he and Eve started getting it on. How nasty!

Could somebody please slap Will alongside the head with a 2 x 4? If that's a bit too extreme how about crazy gluing his lips together? Just somebody please do something to end his self-centered, self-pitying whining? Pretty please with sugar on top?

So Jessica Fletch-I mean Jennifer found proof that Eve had a part in JJ and Paige's break-up :clap:I'm so glad she's found vindication. Now JJ and Eve can come out of the shadows and take their rightful place in the pantheon of great loves: Romeo and Juliet, Heathcliff and Catherine, and of course, Scooby and Shaggy.

Kudos to perceptive Roxanne for doing the smart thing and beating it out of Salem. She sure did get the full-Salem experience while she was there: clueless JJ, crazy Jenny, and even crazier Eve. She sure will have some stories to tell when she gets back to the Loyola campus. Kudos also go to Marlena for talking good sense to Will. Sadly, she's trying to sell sanity to Sami's immature brat-boy son. Good luck with that. Finally, Paul should also take some advice by following his mother's suggestion about going back to San Francisco. There, he'd have access to real doctors and therapists and wouldn't be involved in a nasty, stupid "love" triangle.

This episode was better than all of February Sweeps.

Jen was being delusional when talking with Abby about breaking into Eve's with the keys.

Then chasing after Roxanne just like Eve. Glad Roxanne actually got out of town before she caught it again.

So will Jen say something or fade to black and hold it over Eve's head later?

As obsessed as Jen has been, she would never let Eve get off that easy. Oh, am sure Eve is going to feel Jen's wrath, eventually.

I am laughing at....what does Jen do now. Does she tell them to get dressed right now, and turn her back, or go in the hall? Does she begin yelling right away? I imagine Eve, being the much older "Mrs. Robinson" will catch the first wave......but what does Jen say to her son? LOL

Roxanne: "Oh my god, you and your precious Peg"

Eve: "Paige...her name is Paige."

Roxanne is the best thing to come out of this mess with JJ, Eve, and Paige. She hasn't been in town a full day and she sees that Eve is a lunatic and Jen is too involved in her sons life. Still can't believe Jen called up this girls parents. These are college kids, not high school freshmen.

And just when you think Eve couldn't look any more pathetic, today happens. She jumps in the face of a 20-something female because she can't admit to herself or anyone else that she's hot for JJ.

Eve is banging on Roxanne's hotel door like she's SWAT.

This is just too sad for words, but at the same time absolutely hilarious because she reeks of desperation and jealousy.

Will is being annoying. I was so glad Marlena pointed out that that it was 2 years after Paul that Will and Sonny got married. Sonny was not desperate to get married. And it appears John being Paul's dad just might be happening. His mom was certainly freaked to see John. That should be interesting.

Tomorrow should be good! I was so afraid when Jen just barged in that all she would see was JJ's back and then she would assume it was Roxanne but nope! Eve pops her head around there. Cannot wait for tomorrow. Should be some spectacular fireworks! And did Paige think something was weird when Maggie said JJ borrowed Daniel's coat? I can't imagine she would immediately think it was JJ that night but she did look concerned. Should be good stuff.

Marlena talking to Will today just seemed to illustrate (to me at least) how very not exactly immature but yes, really young Will is. Playing grown-up is hard to do and you have to gain experience right or wrong.

Cryin: I am cracking up at every single one of your posts! I loved the Peg line too.

I was just starting to like Roxanne too.

I'm still torn between whether I think John or Stefano is Paul's dad. Why did Tori come back at the end and why was she smiling?

Really annoyed we got another 2 minute John/Marlena scene.

I want Rafe to take Ari for a while. Will is an idiot.

I liked that Lucas/Adrienne were at Jen's house. They should have Lucas move in.

Re: Jennifer. This is how she used to act when she and Jack were working at The Spectator. So it's not much different except she is obsessing over her adult son which is ludicrous. Her purse however was amazing!

Full timeline (for those interested): Sonny was in town 16 months before kissing Will (right after the Daysaster), and they got married 19 months later. Marlena should have slapped him and walked out on his whining when he said "Sonny was desperate to get married to someone." Then again, given his horrific failure to grasp the English language, I wouldn't expect him to understand the meaning of any of those words.

Paul was honest with Sonny. But he's still a smarm. I don't for a second believe he loves Sonny. I really hope he gets a second opinion on his arm, finds he can play baseball, and skips town.

And of course, I still don't believe that Sonny proposed to someone and never mentioned it to ANYONE in the 3 years he was in Salem. Not his mom. Nor dad. Nor cousin Abby with whom he pulled all of these mystery pranks. (Insert any of my previous rantings on this topic here, LOL.)

Two characters mentioned previous jobs today. Methinks the writers did some research for this episode. But on the other hand, who is Mrs Horton? Just when I was about to "score one" for the writers, the dialogue person screws up!!

Colour me crazy - but I was actually looking forward to JJ/Eve's romp this time. Seriously - maybe because I knew Jen was going to find them, maybe because they were a little more "upfront" about their desirings, maybe because there was less angry hate in the air. I'm not sure where this is going, but I found their scenes funny.

I will send the writers a bottle of champagne if Jennifer has a heart attack tomorrow. (Call me crazy, but I like that catsuit thing she's wearing.)

Meanwhile, Sonny & Will lost all their money...but can still afford a babysitter even when they are AT HOME.

I want to give a hoot about Tori, but she's so boring. Her secret is boring. Her drinking tea is boring. Her pressuring Paul to skip town is boring. Her eavesdropping on John is boring. Her peeking through doors at Doc/John is creepy...and boring.

I really don't care who Paul's daddy is, I hope he really is dead, because I don't trust these writers to handle a story about John/Paul/Marlena.

Bye Roxanne - probably good for you to leave town before the writers make you lose all shreds of dignity & integrity & intelligence like your fake nemesis, "Peg."

I really liked the Lucas & Adrienne scenes.

DaysD thanks for the summary.

I wonder why people in Salem don't understand how important it
is to close a door all the way. JJ closed the door after Roxy left
and it was ajar. Then Mommy Dearest opened it later LOL

JJ was correct when he told Eve she was jealous of Roxy.

After seeing Marlena so much the past couple of weeks, she
finally found John. Yippee... Interesting to see Tori come back
and peep at John smiling at him.

I enjoyed Adrienne and Lucas too. Too bad one of them is married.
The song from Mary Poppins popped in my head when Lucas was
cleaning the chimney.

I thought it was interesting Maggie made a comment about
Daniel's jacket and Paige didn't even look at it. A big clue too :)
