Replay of Kristen talking to Mandrake about Brady, then learning he talked to a nurse. Over to Melanie pushing aside the armoir, seeing the baby, realizing this is Brady's child. She has to get the baby out of there, gets a blanket, and there is Kristen, greeting her. Mel tries to pull her "I'm the nurse" routine, but Kristen knows better, saw pics of her all over her father's apt. and office. Kristen talks sweetly, but mentions how Italian cops don't like Americans trespassing, or kidnapping, either.
Brady is in the clearing, trying to call Melanie, Lee calls him, tells him of Mel stowing aboard the plane, and making him land her in Italy. Next he gets a call from Kristen, telling him to come back to the castle, Melanie is there. (they must have a shuttle bus to the top of that mountain, lol). Brady shows up, Kristen is all kinds of lying sweet talk. Brady now learns there is a baby, but Kristen is claiming Daniel is the father (already told Mel to meet her little brother), the result of that one night stand that Brady himself saw!
She tells him to leave, taking Mel, deciding not to call the police. He relates he will go, but does want to see the baby. She shows him the baby (Mandrake is there, as well) and purrs how he has Daniel's eyes, and her mouth. Brady is just staring, Kristen finally tells him, he had his look, now Bye. He wants this baby tested first before he leaves. She just smiles, he is firm. He wants this baby's DNA tested first. She says, o.k. reaches into the bassinet, pulls a gun on Brady! Melanie starts forward, Mandrake has pulled his gun on her.!!
Lucas is in the square with Will, having told him Victor fired him, Will wants to know why, Lucas will talk about it another time. Doesn't matter now. Asks Will about Sonny. He is going to see him now.They part company, Will goes into the club, finds out Sonny is outside talking with his grandfather. He goes to eavesdrop. Victor is talking to Sonny about Will, Paul, Sonny's marriage. Sonny tells him to butt out, Victor only wants Sonny to be happy, and wonders if he has thought about exactly what he wants. They go back & forth, Will is making all kinds of faces as he listens. Vic berates Will, talking of his genes, and what he inherited. He mentions Sami, and then Will's two grandmothers, all of whom probably cannot name their first husbands. He finally leaves.
Marlena calls John, leaves a message for him, wondering how things are going with him & Paul......and with John and her. Then she gets a call from Will, who thinks Victor is attempting to undermine him, and his marriage to Sonny. He is upset.
Marlena goes to see Victor,, sees Paul's address on his desk, manages to take a photo before Victor walks in. She wants to talk about Will to Victor, who doesn't hesitate to describe Will in an unflattering manner. She explains how much Will regrets what he did, is trying to work things out. Victor will have none of that at all, he loves Sonny and his happiness is important. Marlena tells him, (a couple of times) that neither of them should attempt to judge what happened, it is not their business, and they should let the young couple work things out for themselves with no interference. She leaves, glancing at the photo after she is out of the room.
She calls Will, tells him she talked to Victor, and knows where Paul & John are, is going there herself.
Now earlier, Adrienne is babysitting Ari, Justin calls, and she tells him about her affair with Lucas. They go back and forth about his affair with Elsa, hers with Lucas, he says some unkind things, but then says he will try to wind things up and come home, they will discuss this then. He asks about Sonny, then mentions again coming home after winding things up, but Adrienne has hung up, is crying.
Justin calls Sonny (I missed their conversation, a short one). Will comes in to talk to Sonny, who says he just talked to his dad, and is thinking of going to see him. Will is taken aback, "you are going to Hong Kong?" (What happened to Dubai??) Sonny says he won't be gone long, Will replies " Seems a long way for a short trip". Marlena calls Will after this, Will tells her about Sonny's trip, but thinks he is really going to see Paul. This is when she says she is going there herself. Will hangs up, mutters he will do whatever it takes to keep Paul away from Sonny.
Justin and Victor are on the phone, Victor saying Justin needed to know, he made sure he found out, and Justin telling Victor he just HAD to throw gasoline onto the fire, didn't he? Victor did what he had to do, telling Justin he has to concentrate on his son and that low rent neurotic he is married to. LOL
A distraught Adrienne answers a knock on the door, to find Lucas. He sees her tears, figures she talked to Justin. She nods, is hugging him, is in tears. Then she mention him losing his job, feels so bad for him. He tells her it was Kate who told Victor. Why? She wanted to control Mad World, and needed me out of the way to do it. Adrienne is appalled, how could she do that to her own son. Oh, she feels so bad for him. But Lucas doesn't care about the job, only cares about her. She is what is important. They are kissing.
