The destructive storms in southern areas of American have broken hearts and lives. Upholding each of them in prayers today. Samaritan's Purse is on its way with temporary supplies and working with local pastors to provide long-term housing for these displaced families. Many lost cars, homes, and their workplaces from the destructive tornados/storms.

May we count our many blessings this day. Blessings to each of you!

Good morning. My cousin lives in the Canton area, east of Dallas, where much damage was done yesterday. She and her husband, along with others who came through without much damage, have opened their homes to those who have lost everything. She says it is heartbreaking in that area.

All of the storms missed us. We heard some thunder not too far away last night but that was the last of it. We still need the rain, but I'm thankful to have missed it, knowing the severity with which it came in some areas.

On a lighter note, this morning I went to make scrambled eggs and opened one that had two yokes. It's the first time I had seen this since we had chickens here at home, some 30 years ago.

It was 41*, cloudy and windy this morning. Brrrr. Sun in and out now. Will reach 65*. Wishing everyone a safe and pleasant day.

Hello. Those storms are moving my way and will be here by tonight. Is it just me or do bad storms usually come at night? I don't want more ear-popping, arm-hair-raising weather. The last few bouts have also gotten Remmy afraid of bad weather. I imagine she is more sensitive to the weather changes. The last tornado was less than 5 miles from here, near my mother's house. It must not have touched down for long, but enough to cause a major pressure drop over my house.

Stay safe!

A dreary day here. I've seen the sun for a few minutes. Some areas
close to me flooded yesterday, but I'm ok.

kt, I hope the storms pass you by.

OC, I'm glad you didn't get the bad weather where you are. You can
have some of my rain.

Noel, I hope you're having a relaxing day.

Prayers to all who might need them. God Bless

Good Afternoon.

Yesterday was a day of showing movies of my grandson and answering the first set of lawyer questions. Stepmom is getting excited about her move. She will enjoy the new place for however long she is there. And it is closer to my house by a whole 1 mile!!! She believes her grandson will come help her move, so I won't have to take the day off. I seriously doubt he will arrive ,but she doesn't want me to take the day off, so I will honor her wishes. He and his parents have let her down so frequently. This is not my problem yet.

Please stay safe if you are in the storm track. Prayers for all who were hit last night and those in the path today.

OC: great news your cousin is safe and helping others less fortunate. Thanks for sharing her generosity...It lifts my heart.

KT: prayers for your mother and you to be safe tonight during the storms. Poor Remmy. Hoping the weather is milder than expected. Stay safe!

Kat: good thing the flooded area did not reach your area. Stay safe tonight too.

Robin: really hoping your stepmother isn't disappointed in her other family again. Blessings to you for being there with her.

Stay wise and safe everyone in the storms direction.

Hi everyone, Dreary here as well, started to rain, we are expecting rain AND snow. In the 40s now, so it is rain. wind has picked up. Today was First Communion at church for 2nd graders. I was supposed to read, but the kids did instead, and have to say, I was totally impressed with the kids. Today's first reading, in particular, was a very long one, with some words that ordinarily would be difficult for a 2nd grader. The kids were all terrific, did so well. Of course they all looked so cute, as well. They sit with family, parents, grandparents, aunts & uncles. Really quite nice.

Weather is another story, really nasty. :)

Gosh, hard to believe Red's wedding is just days away. She must be getting even more excited about everything than ever.

I know there was flooding in southern MO, My niece lives near there, but is o.k.

Prayers for all affected.

P.S. Robin, I still stay in touch with my step-mother, who is now in assisted living. Fortunately, she has a brother who lives nearby, so is of help to her, with me so far away. (She has no children, just me........the far away step-daughter) It truly is good of you to help as much as you have. Bless you.

Squirrel, I only dream of keeping house the way you do. Your home sounds like such a lovely and comfortable place. Thanks for the thoughts on getting rain for our tanks. I'm still hoping for May showers. After that, rain chances go way down until fall.

Kt, I hope the storms aren't as bad as predicted in your area. Praying for it to decrease or skip you altogether.

Absolutely loved the idea of jetting off to England. That would be such a hoot, for sure. !!!

LOLOL, Guy......dreams are dreams, who knows why they get so wierd. I love that RS knew who was along on the trip, so wonder what we all looked like, and sounded like since none of us have actually met in person. LOL Too bad she woke when she did, we might all have hooked up in some Pub.....:rotfl:

I have pictures in my mind of everyone here, whether I've seen them or not, lol. I think I base the images more on personality than what is probably real. You all probably looked so different in my dreams, lol!
