Quickie summary:

Sami and Lucas talk at Will's grave. She tells him Clyde told Kate that Dr. Rolf revived Will. Lucas is shocked, but they slowly realize there could be something to it. They remember back to seeing Will's body in the morgue, with a newly created flashback. Lucas bad-mouths Sonny, while Sami surprisingly says Will wasn't exactly a model husband, made his own bad mistakes. She tells Lucas about John and Paul attempting to dig up Will's grave.

Sami says she and Lucas now need to discuss Lucas' drinking. She says he needs to focus on Allie, but he's not having any of it. Goes on a tangent about how no one else in Salem can get through to him either. Lucas says he's his own worst enemy. Sami says, "no, I am", then grabs his bottle and takes a swig. She says she's back and she's not going to let him throw his life away. She hugs him and says they'll figure it out together, while he says he's glad she's back.

Bonnie makes Victor tell Justin and Maggie that he and Adrienne have "fallen in love". The look on their faces is pretty funny. They think it's a joke, but Bonnie makes Victor tell them again, who grumpily confirms it. She then makes Victor tell Maggie he wants a divorce ASAP so he can marry Adrienne. Maggie suggests calling a doctor because she thinks Victor had a stroke, and Justin thinks "Adrienne" is having a delayed reaction to the chemo. Maggie & Justin leave, while Bonnie says Maggie's finally getting what she has coming to her after what she did to Bonnie. Victor asks just what does she mean by that??

Victor asks what Maggie ever did to "Adrienne", but she brushes him off and says he needs to marry her or he'll go to prison, take his pick. She says she has the upper hand and not to forget it. Victor says he never forgets anything, with a smirk.

Nicole goes to Eric to say she and Holly aren't moving in. She says she won't be the reason he will become estranged from his family, for ripping the brothers apart. He says Marlena was fine with it and she, of all people, could understand the situation, but Nicole is adamant. Says she's taking Holly and leaving town.

He says they made love last night and again in the morning, not to turn her back on that. She cries and says it wasn't love, it was just sex. They continue to argue and rant, then Eric grabs Nicole and kisses her. She pulls away, says they are over and runs out, while Eric shouts her name.

Sonny and Paul talk about the possibility of Will being alive. Paul talks about how John and and Steve are tracking down Dr. Rolf. Paul then says he and John were going to dig up Will's grave to get answers. Sonny pops his cork on that one, furious that Paul would consider it. Sonny asks if they found Will's body, but Paul says Sami showed up, which throws Sonny for a loop, because he realizes there might be something to Ben and Clyde's claim.

Sonny says he's tired of talking about everything and asks if they can just go to bed. Paul says there's not enough room in the bed for 3 of them, and says he's going back to his own place tonight and leaves.

Lucas and Sami, they really bring out the best in each other regarding acting. The chemistry was spot on. Loved it when she took that bottle from him and chugged down the rest. I hope we see a Lucas/Sami reunion instead of a Lucas/Adrienne.

At the cemetery, Lucas is telling Sami to "get out, I know you aren't real". Sami takes the bottle out of his hand and throws it to the ground. "Is that real enough for you?" she asks.

Sonny is in his room, he opens a drawer on the bedside table and takes out a picture of Will. "Could you really be alive?" he asks as Paul comes into the room.

Nicole is at the farmhouse. Remembers Brady's threat to go to the police and she better not tell Eric. Eric opens the door (he's actually smiling). Glad to see her. Asks where Holly is. Nicole let her spend another night with Chloe. Eric says that's good since she won't be able to see her that much after they move to the farm. Tells Nicole to let Chloe know she is welcome anytime. Met a neighbor with a daughter about Holly's age. Maybe can set up a playdate. Nicole says Holly is not moving in. Eric asks if she is having second thoughts about moving into the farmhouse and taking Holly away from family. They can start looking for a place in Salem. Nicole tells Him she is not moving in with him.

Lucas wants his bottle back. Tells Sami that the woman he loved dumped him and he woke up in bed with a dead woman. To top it off Ben Weston shows up and tells us that Will is alive. Sami knows, Marlena called her.

At the Kmansion, Bonnie tells Victor that Maggie's a big girl, she'll get over it. Victor tells her not to say her name. Bonnie tells him to tell Maggie that he wants a divorce and has fallen in love with her or she will tell about him hiring Xander to kill Deimos. Victor says if he divorces the woman he loves to marry the woman that bores him and who Justin loves, everybody's going to know that something is wrong. Justin and Maggie come in. Justin says that he understands that "Adrienne" has planned a family dinner. Will Sonny be there? No, he's got a lot on his mind.

In Paul and Sonny's room, Paul asks Sonny if he's thinking about Will. Sonny apologizes. Paul understands that everyone loved Will. Sonny asks if John has found anything. Sonny tells Paul that he knows how hard this is. If they can find Rolf, they can put it all to rest. Paul says he has something to tell him.

Back at the farmhouse, Eric asks Nicole if she's decided to stay with Brady. She answers no, she can't stay there now. Does Brady know? Yes, he knows and he's not great at all. Eric says maybe they should take things slower. Nicole says it's not about time, they just can't be together. Eric: "But we love each other." Nicole: "The truth is last night I spoke too soon."

Back we go to the Kmansion. Justin tells Victor he needs to decide between Sonny and Brady. Victor tells him he'll flip a coin after dinner. Bonnie is wolfing down appetizers and Maggie remarks that she must be worried sick about Sonny. She says not really. I mean it would be great if Will were still alive, but if not, he still has Paul. Maggie is a bit taken aback. Bonnie states that Victor has an announcement to make. Victor says this isn't the right time. Bonnie pushes it. Victor: "I don't know how to say this but to just say it. Adrienne and I have fallen in love." Disbelief on the faces of Maggie and Justin and a very satisfied smirk on Bonnie's face.

In Paul and Sonny's room: Paul tells Sonny that the search for Rolf could drag on a long time. It's going to be hard on the whole family. Tells Sonny about going to open Will's grave.

At the cemetery, Sami tells Lucas that Clyde told Kate that it was Dr. Rolf that brought Will back. We have to find him.

Back to Eric/Nicole: Nicole says that when she was packing, she realized she couldn't do that to Brady. She hurt him so much when she told him; she had never seen him like that. And she knows Eric would never be happy knowing that his brother is in so much pain and he would end up resenting her. He'd have to give up his whole family. John and Marlena would be caught in the middle.

Eric told Marlena and she was great about it. Nicole says she doesn't want to be the woman who rips two brothers apart. "I am taking Holly and leaving Salem. It's final." Eric says, "I can't lose you again. I won't." He reminds her that they pushed away their feelings for Brady's sake but she finally told him the truth. It will take him time but he'll get over it. Last night was real. Nicole answers that last night was a mistake. She was vulnerable and Eric took advantage of it.

At the cemetery Sami tells Lucas that she doesn't know what to believe but she knows that Rolf brought John back to life. Lucas wants it to be true. Flashback to the two of them in the morgue with Will's body. Sami laments that they were not very good parents. Came out okay despite that. Lucas reminds her that he had found love. Lucas wants it to be true but doesn't think it's possible.

At this point, NBC broke in with the news conference of Pres. Trump and Prime Minister of Greece. Lasted about 15 minutes.

Picked up with Sonny and Paul. Paul has told Sonny that Sami is in town. Sonny thinks that if Marlena called Sami, maybe there is a chance that Will is alive. Paul is upset that Sonny is so obsessed with it and he knows that there isn't a second of the day that he isn't thinking about Will instead of him.

At the cemetery, Sami tells Lucas that he needs to focus on the good things in his life like Allie. Lucas reminds her that Allie lives with her now. If she's not around, he doesn't have to stay sober. Starts to take a drink, says "Do you think I'm my own worst enemy?" Sami grabs the bottle, takes a big swig and answers, "No, I am."

At the farmhouse, Eric asks Nicole if Brady guilted or threatened her. Nicole says no, I know what I need and it's not you. Eric grabs her and they go into a passionate kiss.

We're back at the Kmansion. Victor asks Bonnie what Maggie ever did to her. Bonnie tells him she doesn't want to talk about it, just divorce Maggie and marry her. Victor states that it seems she has the upper hand. Bonnie tells him not to forget it. Victor replies, "Oh, I never forget anything."

Sonny is upset and tells Paul that he is sorry he's not thinking of him 24/7. Paul says "that's not what it is about. We aren't us right now. To be honest, Will's back in our lives whether we like it or not." Sonny doesn't want to talk about it. "Can't we just go to bed?" Paul answers "There isn't enough room in that bed for the three of us." He leaves.

At the cemetery Sami tells Lucas that she is back and she's not going to let him throw his life away. Lucas tells her that he loved her, his children and Adriennne... all gone. Sami hugs him and says they'll figure it out together. Lucas tells her he's glad she's back.

One more time at the farmhouse: Nicole pulls away from Eric. She tells him that it's over and that he'll just have to accept it. As she runs away in tears, Eric shouts, over and over, "Nicole! Nicole!"

If anyone feels a need to add anything, please do. I must admit, I admire and appreciat Poirot doing this just about every day. I have an even deeper respect now.

Wonderful job, DW....I have a nagging hunch that Victor is now playing Bonnie. And perhaps Justin & Maggie are in on it....maybe not. But it is not like Vic to cave so easily. Is Maggie very upset? Distraught? Is Justin blustering, since Adrienne supposedly moved back to the mansion to be with him.

Doesn't seem anyone is acting as we might think they should be.

I think Victor has known something is up with "Adrienne" and got definitive proof with her slip up today. Why would she want to marry him? Oh, to get back at Maggie, but what has Maggie ever done to "Adrienne"? Ah yes, the wheels in his head are turning and Victor never forgets for sure.

What was up with Paul's smart comment about not room in the bed for the three of them and sleeping at his place instead of being supportive to Sonny during this difficult time?

Is he just bent out of shape that he got caught illegally digging up his fiance's dead husband's grave?

I did not like that kiss Eric held onto Nicole for so long with.

Sami came back just how I wanted her to for Lucas!

I'm definitely thinking there is going to be some twist with the Bonnie/Victor situation because nobody reacted the way you would think they would. I suppose you could chalk up Justin and Maggie reactions, or lack thereof, to the whole thing being so preposterous, but still you would think there be some indignation at least. But then with the exceptions of Hope and John catching on to Hattie, pretty much everybody involved with this story has been behaving like they don't have the brains the good Lord gave a chick pea, so who knows?

Lucas and Sami: I thought those scenes were very moving. The love and affection these two feel for each other was palpable.

Eric and Nicole: These scenes were very well acted, so kudos to Greg Vaughan (Eric) and Arianne Zucker (Nicole). But other than that, I didn't much care. I hate what Brady is doing because of the damage it's doing to his character, but I don't much sympathy with these two. If Nicole had broken things off with Brady before going to Eric, and falling into bed with him, I may feel differently. But alas she didn't do that so I don't.

Thanks, JS and Designing Woman.

Another sad day in Salem.

You're right, YPG. Bonnie said something that Victor remembered what Bonnie
has done before. At the end, he said he never forgets anything. Bonnie even said
Big Red in front of Victor. It's taken too long for Bonnie to be found out.

Sad stuff with Eric and Nicole. Interesting to hear her say we didn't make love,
we had sex. I hope Eric doesn't start drinking now.

The last 15 minutes of mine was interrupted. I thought the Eric and Nicole scenes were good. I wasn't sure how she'd do it but what she said made sense. Coming between to brothers. Everything except the it was only sex part. Still hating it though.

This Bonnie thing is absolutely ridiculous! She is not acting one bit like Adrienne!! How can they not see something is up?!! And Victor would never give in to her. She has nothing on him!!! And did he know Bonnie back in the day? So stupid. Needs to end yesterday!!!

Sami and Lucas were good. Nice that they showed them with Will in the morgue. He was dead.

You're right, YPG. Bonnie said something that Victor remembered what Bonnie has done before. At the end, he said he never forgets anything. Bonnie even said Big Red in front of Victor. It's taken too long for Bonnie to be found out.
The Bonnie/Victor must have been in the last 15 minutes? I'll have to try to catch it on demand. I hope this story is ending. It's been too long. And poor Adrienne been in jail on this time. Not that they ever show her!!

Nicole: She completed her self-destruction today by spewing a series of lies at the distraught sourpuss as per Brady's orders. Ms. Zucker (Nicole) did a fine job with this scene, but surely most viewers would have preferred a one in which she stood up to nasty Brady and called his empty bluff.

Victor: Hopefully, the old fox hasn't joined Nicole in cravenly succumbing to stupid blackmail schemes. If he does have a plan to turn the tables on Bonnie, he'd better act on it before Maggie and Justin have him committed to Bayview. After all, the erratic, irrational behavior he exhibited today could be interpreted as evidence that he's lost it at last. E.g., Justin: "Sonny, I have bad news. Your Uncle Victor has succumbed to senility, is spouting nonsense, and just isn't himself. We're going to have to have him put away."

Sami & Lucas: It was interesting that they discussed Will's face today because the murdered Will and the Will in Lucas's imagination have different ones. Also speaking of Will, his body at the morgue showed that a lack of scars also applies to the deceased. Despite having been strangled by Ben his neck was unmarked.

Sami & Marlena: They may differed radically in their views on John Black, but both are now facing similar tasks. Marlena will have to rebuild her gloomy, sad-sack son after his latest extreme heartbreak, while Sami will have to try to rehabilitate the self-destructive, perpetually-inebriated Lucas.

Is there any doubt Nicole is leaving? If she weren't, she'd be putting up one heck of a fight. Instead, she's just simpering and scampering out of Salem. Stupid.

Paul/Sonny's fight felt like it came out of nowhere - very forced.

Lucas and Sami still have "it" and if she keeps this up, I may not want her gone in a week.

Thanks for the summary - I only got the first and last acts. Talking heads interrupted the rest.

Thanks for the write up. I'm just catching up on yesterday's show and my husband and we're laughing about what if they dug up Will 's grave, opened the coffin and Carly says, "thank god someone found me". Explain that one. LOL LOL LOL

Lucas and Sami still have "it"

Yes they do but so do Rafe and Sami. That actually could have been a good triangle once upon a time. I think DaysD also mentioned this possibility. Too bad we got what we got. I loved the Lucas/Sami scenes. To me, it definitely had more of a friend undertone but I could see them either way. THIS SHOW REALLY NEEDS TO CAST ALLIE. My only beef with the Sami/Lucas scenes is that Sami let Lucas say that he never sees Allie because she lives with Sami. I think she should have disputed that and said he can see her anytime.

I also did not like the newly created flashback of Will at the morgue. At least use the same dialogue if you're going to do that.

Greg Vaughan (Eric) can use today's episode for his Emmy reel. Wow! Heartbreaking. I really hope Nicole confides the truth in someone. Even Jeannie T let her parents in on the truth. This feels oddly similar in terms of stupid exit stories.

Victor has got to be on to Bonnie. I'll be disappointed in Ron if he isn't. It was a nice mix of humor though in an otherwise serious and sad show.

Sonny and Paul were ok. Where was that Will photo located? It would be an interesting twist if Paul was in on Will's disappearance.
