Hope your birthday tea was fun, Lil0. Once again, our friends here have come up with beautiful cakes and other pictures!
Manda, I'd always heard how hard it is to get rid of bedbugs. Sadly, you have confirmed it abundantly.
Shan, whoa, you must be having the awful winds right now. Hang on tight!
A. Guy, crazy squirrel.
Squirrelly Shirley, scraping car windows already? Horrors! I can see why you prefer just plain snow. We seldom get it here, without ice. More often, just ice storms. Ugh!
Kat, I'm sorry the doctor couldn't do anything for you. Colds can be so miserable and it feels very helpless to not be able to treat them. My mother-in-law used to say, "Three days coming, three days here, and three days going." But mine seem to last a little longer than that, and coughs can linger for a long time. I hope you will be better by tomorrow.
My niece and I spent the morning in our county seat town. Oddly enough, we both had business in all of the same places: USDA, county tax appraisal office, bank, and post office. So glad to get these things attended to so I can get some papers cleared off my table. We went to the cafe and ate--hamburger for her, enchiladas for me. (Brought home a hamburger for the husband). It was okay, and nice to be out. If you've ever been in one small-town-Texas cafe, you've seen them all.
