Did you know that both Isabella and Marlena considered aborting John's babies? I wonder if Tori ever considered it. Or if she didn't, then well, the ironic moment when the one baby mama of John's who did not consider abortion, kept his baby a secret for 25 years.
 
I missed the whole story of how Rex and Cassie came into existance.
 
After they came to Salem in a "space pod", they were originally thought to be the children of Marlena and Tony DiMera. But it finally came out that Stefano had somehow obtained eggs from Kate and sperm from Roman to create the twins, who were then carried by Marlena as a surrogate (when she was held captive on the island back in the day). They were raised in a DiMera Franken-lab somewhere.
 
The interesting thing was they actually were wearing sort of tin foil underwear or something like that when found in the space pod by .......of course........the Last Blast kids, who hid them in the garage..the Brady garage I believe. LOL......Silly story, one that raised a lot of ........"well if blah blah, then why blah blah." I forget why they were in that space pod, but that was so silly as well. Ha.
 
They also apparently couldn't speak (or speak English) when the pod fell into Salem. :rolleyes:

Remember when they were known as the "alien twins"? Makes you wonder if the original storyline was for them to actually be aliens?
 
That was one of the "things". They were raised by Rolf in that lab, so he had to speak to them, they had to understand him (or any flunky who may have worked there), and they had to communicate with each other. So how come they could not speak? LOL.

Guess the writers were greatly influenced by ET and the movie Splash. LOL
 
I remember the scene of Cassie watching Belle call Marlena "mom", then she struggled to pronounce the word "mom" herself. :rolleyes:
 
The complicated Brady family tree brings to mind what a FBI agent said in the film The Town about the convoluted relationships of Ben Affleck's crew of Boston armored car and bank robbers: "You need a @*&% Venn diagram for these people."
 
Where are the twins now? Cassie had a horrible death, but was it reversed with the rest during the return of cast members? I was only sort of watching during their tenure, and I have a memory like a colander.
 
Yes, Cassie was rescued with the others. She went upstairs at the pub one day to take a nap and was never seen again.

A few years ago, at Christmas time, Kate mentioned she was going to stop off and see Cassie and Rex in Chicago. She was going there to see Philip and Parker (who was his son at the time).
