Just finished watching the series and I have to say I loved it, for the most part.
Positives:
I loved the new Sonny actor and I hope they bring him and Will back to the regular show. I loved seeing Tony/Anna and Carrie/Austin and I always wonder if their child, Noah, really exists as there is...
My theory always was that Jordan and Evan might have been besties and she agreed to be a surrogate but got all crazy and skipped town with baby David. Evan tracked Jordan down and killed Jordan by accident maybe during an argument. I like the actor that plays Evan and thought it would have been...
When the show briefly explored Abby with EJ, I thought they were FIRE! Too bad James Scott (EJ) left the show and couldn't take that storyline further.
I always thought Sami and Rafe were perfect for each other but I think the show should explore Nicole with Rafe as they do have chemistry.
I...
I am thinking the writers did not know who they were going to make start the fire, and as the storyline progressed they had to come to a rush decision and make Claire be the culprit. This is probably the most poorly thought out story-line I have seen. So many holes and things that just don't...
Sorry I had to say it! I was re-watching the Xander/Maggie scene and the thought in the back of my mind was "are the writers going to actually go there?" They haven't....YET! :rotfl:
It was a great scene and loved seeing some emotion from Xander. Maggie could be a mother figure for him as long as the relationship stays that way and the writers don't decide to do something crazy, like having them sleep with each other
Eventually the show is going to be taped a year in advance. There is no way this show will survive at this rate. It will be hard for the actors to keep track of what is airing now compared to when they are taping I am sure more slip ups of the future story-lines will happen.
I loved the Princess Gina storyline. I really hope that if they revisit it would be to tie up the loose ends that were never resolved, such as the true paternity of Greta Von Amburg or why Vivian always got scared of Lili Faversham everytime she saw her.
What I find unbelievable is how she keeps coming and going from the Horton house like she lives there. Did they ever show how she gets in all the time? Does she have a key or use the one in the flower pot? They need to install Ring (a wireless doorbell that has an app on a smartphone so you...
Gabi doesn't know what she is getting herself into, because she might be forcing the "Gabby" and "Dr. Laura" personality to come forth in Abigail to lock her up in the DiMera dungeon and duct tape the doors and no one will ever know what happened.
I will never forgive the show for what they did with Aiden and his son Chase. I thought Hope was perfect with Aiden. The writers took the time to build them up as a great couple and then tore them apart. Aiden and his son come out so damaged in the end that no one wanted to see them on the...
I like the idea, but Benjy himself wasn't really that old. I still think EJ should have been Benjy and this person that is sabotaging DiMera should be EJ.
The key is that it is someone that has inside knowledge of the workings of DiMera, so someone that was on the inside and worked there before. Kristen wanting to take over the company herself would be pretty fun. My other guess is this other person that is coming to town with Vivian.
I think it's Kristen disguised as Susan and I would love for that to be true. Would be a great surprise and another unpredictable plot twist. The character of Susan isn't a spiteful person or clever enough to pull off a revenge plot.
I think Brady and Eric have both turned up the creep factor lately with Brady's insecurities driving him insane, to the point that maybe he needs to get checked into Bayside Sanitarium. Eric has been creeping me out just by the way he has been staring at Nicole and swooning over her. He gets so...
I have to say that the show is mostly plus for me. Each episode is actually worth watching because something big is happening and it isn't just filler where people are walking around doing nothing. It has the early to mid 90s feel in the pacing and the content which I felt were the height of...
