its pouring down rain right now and the fog is rolling through....hmmmm last I looked it was still February....strange weather in deed!


Well on the plus side our school is taking a holiday tomorrow AND Monday for President's Day...cha cha cha! lol!

....and its Dress Down Day today. (ah...the little things....lol!)

Good morning everyone. A soggy drizzly day here. The snow is disappearing to leave an ugly muddy mess. I'm trying to still get caught up with the paperwork that I missed while out sick for 3 days. We're closed on Friday and off Monday so this is a 2 day work week for me.

Oh geez, I've been trying to finish this post since 8:45. Work keeps interrupting. LOL I give up.

Good morning. Ah, I hadn't even realized there was a holiday coming up. Good for you folks who get time off! Rew, when we got ready to move from northeastern PA to here in Feb.,1978, we had a steep driveway and there was so much snow there was no way to get a moving van in there. Hubby said what we needed was rain, which didn't seem at all likely, but it came a heavy rain and melted all the snow--even flooded our basement!
Squirrel, I'm glad you are getting more time off. You probably still need more rest than you got last week.
NCR, I always cringe when I hear of your 13 hour workdays. I hope you are able to sit on something while you work.
Sunny, I hope your friend is just getting a checkup and gets a good report.

Have I ever mentioned how much I don't like skunks? I've been running all week and not sleeping well. Finally last night I was snoozing so peacefully until a skunk let it go at 3:00 a.m. right under my bedroom windows--or so it seemed. Good thing for him it was too dark for me to see or he'd have been a goner! He's been coming around for about a month and I've had enough. Grrrr!
I'm getting such a late start (still finishing my breakfast) but we're going to feed the girls this morning. Rain in the forecast for tomorrow.

MORNING ALL!

I am back at work after being off two days sick. My chest is still pretty tight and I am still coughing, but feel somewhat better.

Judy, we are in the waiting room. Wilma is here for lab work. She also has to fill out 6 pages of new paper work because they have a new system. She isn't happy.

Good afternoon. Grocery shopping is done, picked up Annabelle's birthday cake, and just got Ava down for a nap. Now for lunch and some cleaning. We are also out of school tomorrow and Monday, with parent/teacher conferences tonight and Monday morning. We opted for the Monday morning session. I hope everyone has a great day today.
