Good morning all, I was thinking of all those who mentioning getting Friday AND Monday off, and figured there would be plans in the works to make a full day. Hope all of you have fun. I am gonna try and get some more bookwork and tax stuff done today, if I can. Plus pay a few bills.
I was gonna try and get into town but that is impossible with the roads closed off.

Good morning! Today is tax day here. We have the same lady do ours every year. I think we like catching up with her as much as we like her doing our taxes. We only see her once a year, but it's nice to catch up & she can really talk, so it will probably take all afternoon to get them done! Rachael keeps asking to go to "Memaw's" this morning, so I guess I'll call my mom later & see if she got called into work so Rachael can come over & see her if she didn't. Good thing they live right across the road from us because I don't have the most energy this morning.

    Have a great day everyone!

Good Morning everyone. So glad it's Friday. I'm so tired and worn out today, I just wanted to stay in bed. But alas, I have work. Fridays are always quiet around here and even more so before a holiday! I kept my earphones with music on when I got to work....we'll see how long before someone trys to talk to me. LOL

I have some errands that Rew or Sunny could run for me.... :D Enjoy your days ladies.
Poirot, hope you have a productive day with your bookwork. Go to town if you can, the paperwork will still be there when you get back!
NCR, ah taxes. Haven't started or thought about mine yet. I did get the form in the mail.

Well, I think since tomorrow is supposed to be a nice day, Flat Stanley and I may need to make a trip downtown to do the tourist thing. He needs to go back home soon. Since we are expecting snow on Sunday, I should not delay any longer.

    Have a good day all.

Good morning. A cold one, but supposed to go up to 40 today. Most of my snow from last week is gone. Oh well, at least the sun is shining.

I'm off, but it is because our agency is closed on Friday's anyway. My holiday day off is Monday. Not much planned for today. May or may not go out to grocery shop. Laundry and cleaning are bigger priorities if I have the strength to do it all.

@ NCRPh - That is soooo sweet that Rachael is asking for her grandmother.
@ Poirot - Why are the roads closed???
@ sunny - Please do my errands, too.
@ rew - LOVE your post on fb...... snip snip for the kitty, and a sip sip for you at starbucks
@Oliviaunt - You snuck in on me. Have fun with Flat Stanley. My offer still stands if there is time before he has to be back at school.

Good morning. NCR, it sounds nice to have something pleasant associated with getting taxes done! Enjoy your visit. It must be fun having your mom just across the road. Enjoy her too. Mine was 3 miles down the road and I've missed her so much these almost 15 years since she's been gone.
Barb, you snowed in again? Stay warm and don't get buried in all that paperwork!
Sunny, I see you made it through the wait for your friend's lab work. Be safe as you go on your errands.
Rew, even catchup things can be a fun change from going to work. You could take my kitty along for neutering too. He's young and has stayed home so far but he will start to wander one of these days.
Jammers, I hope you are feeling better, if you check in today.

I'm going to pick up some new eyeglasses today and a prescription. It is overcast and will be in the 50s* today. 50% chance of rain.
Ooh, my big woodpecker and little titmouse are out there looking for a handout. I'd better tend to them and give my kitty a snack. He always waits at the door for a snack when I go out to feed the birds.
Oh Squirrel and Oliviaunt, you got in while I was writing. I'll read your posts after I feed my birds.

Good morning. Today and Monday are days off from school, so I scheduled Annabelle for her annual checkup today. And we're expecting rain tonight/tomorrow, just in time for her birthday party tomorrow. I'll have about 15 kids in my house, from ages 6 months to 8 years old for two whole hours and little chance of them being able to go outside to play. Fun, fun. So my day today is going to be clean, clean, clean, stash the mess in closets, clean, clean, hide things under the beds, clean, clean, clean. :) I hope everyone has a great day today.

Oliviaunt, have fun downtown with Flat Stanley. It always makes me smile to think of him.
Squirrel, please try to get some rest. You work too hard! I wish my house could be as clean as yours must be but it is a LOT of work to keep one that way.

    MORNING ALL!

REW...hey its Eugene!!! (Q on Star Trek)
    SUNNY...enjoy your errand day
BARB...ahhh that reminds me, I need to go by the library and get tax form/book for Kristin...this will be her first year to file. I already figured her taxes with Turbo Tax, but want her to do it manually so she knows how to. Since her summer job was contract, she will end up paying about $170 this year.
NCR...you are as lucky as I was, we lived next door to my mom and dad for 10 years and my girls got to spend tons of time with them when they were little. Precious memories for my girls now that my mom is gone. My mom was also my babysitter during the week. Grandma's make the best babysitters.
OLIVIAUNT...Enjoy your touring with Flat Stanley tomorrow.
RS...laundry and cleaning...two of least favorite things to do.
OCG...I am feeling a little better today, still getting winded easy, but cough is better.
ROCKS...you sound like you clean like I do...put up all you can and hide the rest :rotfl:

Kris has Navy Ball tonight and I am hoping she remembers to have Kori take some pics of her and Cody before they head out since they will be gone before I get home :(. Kori is supposed to be doing Kris' hair for her, she played around with a few styles last night and I think they decided on a waterfall braid....if Kori can get it right today. She is pretty good with hair and figured out how to do this braid by watching a YouTube video.

    Everyone have a BLESSED day!

Good Morning ladies and happy Weekend to you all. It's raining here again today and hubby left running his errands, that leaves me with house pickup and Laundry to do. We got up late so it's hard to get started. Since we have no livestock outside, well we still have chickens and a cat to feed, we don't seem to get up as early as we used to !
All is well here and I hope it stays that way at least for a while.:) I hope you all have a great weekend and will check back later.
    Hugs to you all,,,.

Hi joanie...see you got your problem solved, or are you not using the laptop. Wayne forwarded your request to me, as he is out of town right now.
Got some of my stuff done, It snowed this a.m. for about an hour, then stopped, but now the skies have darkened and it is flurrying off and on. Makes the ski race people happy, I am sure. That is, if it is doing the same north of me. LOL
