Good morning folks, woke up way too early, not feeling too well, stomach is acting up. No idea why. Did not party, snack, or even watch the game. Really had to hit the bathroom, lol. Probably will all day. Have to run into town for a bit of blood work later on. Take care all. Have a good one.Laundry for me.

Back to work after a nice weekend (except for the bat). Meetings and reports most of the day for me.

@ Poirot - Hope you feel better.
@ D4ysfan - Have a good day with whatever you have planned.

Good morning. Not a good way to start the day, Barb. Feel better!
Debbie, you have the longest to do lists of anybody I know! Get 'er done, gal!
Hi there, Sunny. Have a good day.
D4y, I hope you have a good day too.
Squirrel, much as I can't stand bats, I'd almost rather tackle one of them than meetings and reports. May your day be without extra hassles!

Looks like we may get a day without wind. Yea!!! Not sure what we're doing. Nothing lined up until tomorrow but there's always plenty that needs doing. For now, I'll finish my breakfast and then feed the birds as soon as it gets light enough to go out. Have a fine day, everyone!

Good morning everyone! Rachael slept in so I got to actually enjoy a walk on the treadmill & a bath before she got up then we made buckwheat pancakes with maple applesauce piled up on top! We should have plenty of energy to tackle all the cleaning & laundry we have to do today. On a very positive note, I'm meeting the hubby at the store to pick out our gas logs and mantle that will be installed hopefully soon before we actually get any truly cold weather!

    Poirot--hope you feel better soon!

D4ys--enjoy your day off. Guess we'll be in the laundry club together today, so happy suds to you!

RS--Good luck with your meetings and such.

TB--I hate really long to-do lists, but it feels good to get things checked off. I have a couple of dresses that have needed to go to the dry cleaners for about a month...

    Morning, Sunny!

OC--What kind of birds do you feed? We have a lot of red & blue birds here & they are beautiful to watch. I have feeders in the front & back yards.

Good morning all. No more perfect attendance for Annabelle. She sat down at the table, had a drink of her juice, and then it was a mad dash to the bathroom. I think our menu yesterday had too much snack, not enough substance and that didn't set right with her. So we're home today. So later, I'll be doing laundry when I'm sure her stomach has settled.

OC, the birds gobble up the feed I put out on the south side of the house, and the one on the west side always takes them a while to eat up. I don't know why. But, I'll have to fill up both of them today before icky weather returns tomorrow afternoon.

    Good morning, all ~

Oh, I am sooooo mad at those New York Giants! I got robbed! If they had opted to go for the one-point conversion after that 4th quarter touchdown instead of trying for the two points I WOULD HAVE WON THE $175 POT!!!!! [Actually it was $190 but $15 was my money.] Grrrrr. I will never forgive them. Well, I didn't really like them much in the first place. :D

Barb, I hope you feel better soon. Not a good way to start your day! I hope you can just take it easy as much as possible and focus on taking care of yourself.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Good windy morning to you all. It's ben Sunny and windy for the last week and I hate it. Too warm for February!!!! Lots ofpeople here are flocking to the nurseries and buying flowers to plant. Not me, I'll wait at least until March and maybe not until April. It has been known to snow in Feb, March and even early April. I am sure we have another heavy frost or two still coming.

Poirot, so sorry you're not feeling well. it must be the weather! Hope you feel better soon.
LiLO, so sorry for your loss:cry: and not winning the pot! How's your weather up there? Our's is sunny and windy and about 47 for a high. :(

Barb, so sorry you're not feeling well. it must be the weather! Hope you feel better soon.
RS, I know that the bat was a scary thing for you but I have to admit to laughing pretty hard when I heard about it.. sorry...It sounds so much like something that would happen to me!
RF, so sorry that Annabelle is sick. Hope she feels much better tomorrow.
NCRPh, glad that you had a little time to yourself this morning for a work out with no interruptions. Have a great day.
D4ys, have a great day off and enjoy tha laundry. I have some to do too!
Sunny, I hope the frost melts off your windshield soon so you can get out for awhile later.
    JenLe, have a good day.
OC, what time do you get up in the morning? I feed the birds too but I'm not up before them!:)
TB, slow but steady gets the job done for you today. You are always soooo... busy. Enjoy your day!

    Hugs to all.. Joan

@ Joan ~ weather is gorgeous up here!!! I'm getting spring fever, but I share your hesitation to start setting plants out. We had a hard frost last night and I'm sure will have several more. But these sunny days are sure nice.

Not me.......I would still be jumping at any noise that even begins to sound like bats' wings. I.E. when water just begins to boil around the edges. LOLOL

Interesting description, Barb. I'm happy to say I have never heard bat wings flapping.
Lil0 and Newt, even here in Texas we can get a freeze into April. Fruit trees and bushes often get fooled.
NCR, ooh, red birds and blue birds are so pretty, especially when they are together in the same setting. Right now I've got a whole flock of goldfinches that are hogging the feed. But I also have some titmice, chickadees juncos, orioles, cardinals, and woodpeckers. And, ugh, sparrows have discovered my feeding place, which is a big, flat platform. It's wonderful for viewing lots of birds but I may have to go to regular feeders if the sparrows interfere with the other birds. Last spring I had so many colorful birds, such as lazuli buntings, painted buntings, blue birds and others, so I'll wait and see if they return this year.
Newt, I don't think I get up before the birds either, but it hasn't been getting light here until after 7:00 and I'm not about to go out in the dark and feed them! lol....
Rocky, I feed on the west side of the house so I don't know why your birds prefer the south. If I were a bird I'd want to be on the south side of the house to get out of the cold north wind! I don't know if your feeder is in a tree but birds like to feed near a tree so they can fly into it for cover when frightened.
