    Day by day nothing changes.
BUT WHEN YOU LOOK BACK, ALL IS DIFFERENT.

Ah Tuesday.....a day closer to another weekend...oh how we look forward to that part of the week, don't we? :)

I'm thinking of my mom today and remembering one of her many favourite desserts she would make...cinnamon danishes with lots of drizzly icing...oh yum! The coffee is piping hot and I even have some cider made for you all. Sit for a minute if you can and indulge yourself with conversation and food my friends...enjoy this day called Tuesday.

Here's a little cutie pie for you to brighten up your day. :)

Awww....what a cute kitty! Thanks for sharing, Rew. The cinnamon danishes sound delicious! 13 hour workday for me today. Also, Lady & The Tramp is being re-released today & I am getting that for Rachael for Valentine's Day. Every time the commercial comes on, she says, "OOOOooohhh" and points at the TV. Happy Tuesday, everyone!

Good morning everyone. Meetings and reports again for m e today.

Today is Charles Dickens' 200th birthday. The google doodle for him is a good one.

@ rew - The danishes sound heavenly, thank you. I always smile when I see that kitty video. Too sweet.
@ NC - I hope you have a good work day. I bet Rachael will make you watch the video a gazillion times, but it'll be worth it to see her so happy.
@ sunny - prayers for your friend.

Good morning. Nice thought about remembering your mom and the Danish treats, Rew. Really cute kitty too!
NCR, 13 hours IS a long day. You seem to work them routinely. I bet your little girl will be so excited to get Lady and the Tramp.
Squirrel. Dickens' is 200? Wow, time flies, doesn't it? :) I bet he never dreamed he'd be remembered so well for so long. I hope your meetings go smoothly.
Sunny, I hope things go well for DeeDee, and for you, as you assist her.
I'm taking my sister the the doctor today to see about getting some of her meds changed. First time she's been out in a long time. I hope it's not too hard on her. That will probably keep me busy from about 9-2 so I doubt I'll get much else done. Gonna be cloudy and windy. Have a good day, everyone.

    Good Morning!

@Rew: mmm thanks for the danish and cider, definitely worth taking a break for!
@NCRPh: Ohh, Lady and the Tramp is such as good movie, I'm a sucker for old Disney animation movies. Beauty and the Beast being my favorite! hehe
@Sunny: Prayers for your friend to have a speedy recovery.
@Red: I "walked" all over Charles Dickens, his crypt is in the floor of Westminster Abbey right next to Rudyard Kipling. Good luck with the meetings!
    @Tropical: Enjoy the extra sleep.
@OC: I hope the visit goes well for your sister.

Off to work I go, hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Good morning everyone. Annabelle is feeling better and off at school. Ran a few quick errands and back home with Ava for lots of play until naptime. Then I've got a lot of cleaning I'm going to try to get done and try to get Annabelle's birthday presents wrapped and hidden away. I hope everyone has a great day today.

Hey all! Sorry I haven't been around lately...just been really busy with school. I have to go pick up a prescription today. I got shingles and it hurts. But the medical center just marveled at it. Every nurse and med student there just HAD to come look at my freakin' back. And my nursing major roommates are going to look at it tonight (as soon as I told one of them that I had shingles, I also said "And yes, I'm going to let you guys take a look." ...she then turned around and texted the other roommate....I'm betting the text read "Susan has shingles!!! We get to learn how to identify it! Whoohoo!") So now I'm waiting for 2pm to roll around so that my friend Jeanette can take me to get my prescriptions. I don't know if she knows what I have or not...I've told several friends. They honestly don't care if I'm around them or not even though I keep saying "I'm contagious." If they've had the chickenpox or the chickenpox vaccine they should be fine because I can't give them shingles. But I could give them the virus for chickenpox. I had the chickenpox when I was like....four. But apparently the virus lives in you forever and years later it can rear it's ugly head in the form of shingles.

Bahaha! I just drove by there a short time ago! OMG! :p

Anyways, all of my friends have had the chickenpox before it seems like but they are still like "Get away from me." Even though I've told them many times now that they can't get shingles from me nor can they get the chickenpox virus since they already have the virus in them (b/c it's dormant after chickenpox and only becomes active if you get shingles)

Oh my, Lily, you are awfully young to get shingles! I know it can happen at any age but seems like it's usually folks who are middle age or past. I had it several years ago and my daughter, in her 40s, had it last year. My son, in his 30s, had it a few years ago. It sure can be ugly and painful. The meds work pretty fast though, so I hope you are better soon!

Rocky, I'm so glad Annabelle got better so soon. My little grandson in Fort Worth had a stomach upset last week, which lasted seven days! How old is Annabelle going to be and what day?

Well, I sure didn't make it home by 2:00 o'clock as I had imagined! The dr. put my sister in the hospital, expecting maybe only a couple of days, to help get her breathing settled down and some fluids off. So I had to get her admitted, then come back out to her house to get some essentials for her and take them back to town to the hospital. She already looked better and her oxygen was up, by the time I got there the second time.

Yep, I'm 19.....I'm REALLY young for having shingles... and one of my roommates has never had the chickenpox (or been vaccinated) so I have to steer clear of her until it's gone.

@ Lily. Sorry you have the shingles. It is the worst. Hope the meds help. Your roomate should be ok as long as you don't share towels ect and does not go near the rash. Or get some gloves to wear.
