Good morning. I've been watching a pair of bluebirds flirting with each other. Another sign of spring? It's going to be in the mid-50*s today, but with a wind advisory. I don't know if I'll be outside much or not.

I finally went to the ER yesterday afternoon for my back injury. Nothing was fractured, just strained and bruised. I had to get two shot in the "but-tocks" as Forrest Gump would say, lol. Prescriptions for pain medicine, which I won't fill (it's just prescription strength ibuprofen, anyway), a muscle relaxer and a round of steroids. So, that's where I am.

I hope everyone has a safe day.

A Winnie the Pooh day here with wind advisory until 6 tonight. It's cloudy
and in the 30s today.

kt, I'm glad you finally had your back looked. Do you have a heating pad?

I hope everyone will have a good Monday.

Good Morning Everyone,

This weekend was absolutely crazy, but the wedding went off without a hitch, and Gena had a fabulous time at the dance. So all is well. :)

I think we have some snow in the forecast again, but it was warm over the weekend so we had quite a bit of snow melt. It's been so warm, I'm a little nervous thinking about how many bugs we'll have this summer.

KT - glad to hear your back is only strained and that you finally had it checked.

Kat - watch out for flying Piglets in all that wind. LOL

Have a wonderful day everyone.

Good morning, after a crazy day at Disneyland. It was HOT, 80+ degrees and amazingly crowded. We had a fun time and rode some rides we hadn't done in a long time. And a brand new one, and met some new "friends" in line who smuggled their drinks onto a ride. Thankfully we weren't in their car. What a mess that could have been. Got home well into the 3rd quarter of the football game. I watched till the end then went to the DVR version of Downton Abbey. Was amazed at the lack of knowledge about their own house!!

OC, I hope things go well today.

Happy New Year of the Monkey.

Hi all........snowed quite a bit during the night, snowing off and on today, as well. Was down in the teens last nite. Still with furnace problems, hubby in town trying to see what he can find/come up with. Was already on phone with motor repair places & elect. com. this a.m. Glad we have the electric heaters. Gosh, everything is so expensive, and all these "repairs" & parts are costing double/triple the furnace.
Watched Downton last night, getting a bit nervous about Barrow.
Trying to get some business stuff straightened out, and will be trying to get the new phone hooked up.
Take care all.

Hi everyone!

A little cloudy and 48 here today.

kt, I'm glad you finally went about your back. Hope you start feeling better soon.

robin, sounds like you had a good time at Disneyland.

Poirot, I hope your heat situation gets fixed soon.

I'm finally done with this overnight thing. I go back to work at my store tomorrow. I'm just nervous about what my department looks like since I've been gone two weeks.

Have a wonderful day everyone.

Good afternoon all,

Overcast and 40F today but windy. Just got back from the gym, and gonna shower and eat lunch before school. No work today, but very busy at school.

KT, hope your back feels better soon.

Poirot, hope your heat situation improves quickly.

Nothing much else to report. Have a nice day, everyone.

Hi everyone. Jumping in with news about Lovo. Her son, Frank, posted a few minutes ago on Facebook that hospice called the family because they were unable to waken her. They're at her bedside now.

(Thank goodness I put an alert on her account so I would get a text message if he posted.)

Good Morning friends. I slept in today with the rest of the crew. Back to a regular eating pattern today and sleeping pattern tonight. The house needs cleaning & the laundry done but I think I see that on tomorrow's list today. It's going to be 85F today nad 89F in a couple of days. In my hometown it is 28F today with snow flurries! :)

KT: relieved you finally had a doctor check out your back muscular strain. The muscle relaxants will help with the pain by reducing spasms. Take extra good care of yourself. I am so jealous you are watching bluebirds! They are one of my favorites and we never see them here. Enjoy! :)

KAT: just like Winnie please make the most of your blustery day! It's a great day for reading, listening to music, or daydreaming.:)

MANDA: so happy the wedding was grand and you and Gena enjoyed the dancing afterwards! Enjoy your Monday.

ROBIN: happy to know your sibling day was fun. What new ride did you like? If you thought it was warm there, you should enjoy our temperatures this week. When I want to sulk, I will remind myself that you love this pre-Valentine above-normal hot weather,

POIROT: so sorry your furnace saga continues. I am also a bit nervous about Barrow on Downton. Hope your phone installation goes smoothly and your business issues are quickly resolved. :)

RED: glad you return to your own store :clap:Hope it is not as messy as you fear. One reason to dread returning to work is the pile of papers on your computer files and desk. Here's to shorter commutes!

DAYS: good luck with your school assignments. You're off to a busy day already. I shared the link to your Jerusalem Post article to my nephews hoping they will think over this important issue.

SQUIRREL: prayers for Lovo and her family. Those of us who have walked this path know the bittersweet love & sorrow. Blessings to you this day Squirrel. May Angels watch over Lovo.

Noel, I wish the dance and wedding were together, but alas the wedding reception will be in September following a vow renewal. The wedding this weekend was in my mother-in-law's living room next to her "hospital" bed. My sister-in-law moved the wedding up 7 months to make sure her mom could see her get married as doctors have given my mother-in-law 6 months to live at best. The kidney specialist said 2 weeks (which was this past Saturday, thankfully she's still hanging on) and the cardiologist said up to 6 months.

Gena went to the Girl Scout Me & My Guy Dance Saturday night with my little brother (who is 27), as Daddy doesn't dance.

KT - so glad you finally went into ER! Hopefully now on the mend.

Amanda - I'm glad the wedding went good and Gena had a great time.

Robinsnest - glad you had a good time in Disneyland. When we went the end of September it was really crowded. We asked several people and employees and they said Disneyland sold yearly passes really cheap for local people and they bought them up. I wondered why every time we bought something they would ask if we were pass holders because they get a nice discount on purchases also.

Iamred - hope your store is in okay shape

Just read Squirrel's post regarding Lovo (thank you RS). That is just so sad. Prayers being sent.

It's 46 and very very beautiful. Sun is as bright as we all remember it. We actually did yard work yesterday and I started on refinishing some yard benches. I cannot believe this!

Shannon

MANDA: thank you for the wedding reception clarification. I apologize for misunderstanding. Bless your sister-in-law for adjusting services so your mother-in-law could share in her joy. Prayers for the family as you say goodbye to a beloved family member. Again so happy Gena enjoyed her "date".

SHANNON: so great you are able to enjoy the weather and complete lawn chores.

Noel, I appreciate that. Let me know what they think of it!

My goodness, so sorry to hear the news of Lovo. Just awful. I always enjoyed her posts. My thoughts and prayers are with her loved ones.

Good evening. Our internet has been very spotty in the evenings lately. We finished Annabelle's Valentine box for her class party. Ava's class is just decorating paper sacks in class this week. The school's book fair is this week as well, so I of course spent more money than I planned on but it was worth it. Parent teacher conferences and a livestock show later this week for Annabelle.

I saw the Facebook update on Lovo earlier. I'm praying for her and her family.
