The book we're doing is about being brave. I did the chapter on hope, which I
need everyday. I asked the group what gave them hope and also the scriptures
they used to keep going.

That is a great chapter for our world today. I need hope daily too! Proud of you Kat for being brave yourself to teach the class.

KT & JS - that's so sad, those poor animals.
Noel - we had 2 girls (sisters, 1 in our troop, 1 who was in our troop but transferred to a kindergarten troop) who wanted to adopt the puppy we got to visit. I know they've been looking to adopt a new dog for awhile, but the family just had a new baby 3 weeks ago. I think the dad was more interested in a dog that's a little older.
