Not that Julie is my favorite character, but it is rather amazing that she is still on the show, and still looks kind of terrific!

LOL, that 1st script is undoubtedly 1/2 hr. show. I think back then it was just a couple weeks from filming to airing......Actually, the tape date says Nov. 1

And isn't Days anniv. date Nov. 8th?

Jason, back when the show started how, far in advance did they film?

They were just a week+ back then. The pilot script says it was scheduled to tape 11/1, but other paperwork I have says it was actually taped the Friday before (10/29).

I recently posted the production schedule for 1965-1969, based on the tape dates listed on the script covers, so you can see when all the episodes were taped. Due to the actors' strike in 1967, "Days" actually taped an episode just 16 hours before it aired! If the strike lasted one more day, then Days would have been replaced by repeats of other shows until the strike ended (as had happened with pretty much every other soap that had run out of episodes).
