Hello weekenders!

Well, insomnia seems to be my middle name lately. Absolutely no reason why except this dreadful heat, humidity and dust. As I am allergic to dust. It keeps me up most nights. Today will be 106F, high 70s dewpoint, dust storms and rain on the other side of town. The quiet this time of morning is very sweet though.

Sure hoping your weekend is sweeter and you are well rested and feeling great. Some of you have very busy schedules, so I imagine you are already prepping your Saturday.

RS: hope your work schedule is light.

Robin: sending comfort, strength and wishes for a blessed time with your son/family.

Manda: hoping you complete all your projects today so you can totally enjoy the Circus museum tomorrow.

Poirot: hope you slept peacefully and restfully all night.

OC: wishing you a night free of headaches and deep sleep.

Well, I am off to try to sleep one more time. Wish me luck.

Good morning. I'll be waiting at least until Monday to find out/do anything about mental health or my car. At least I get the explanations about my car. I can't get any answers from mental health. I've tried to be nice, but holding in all the anger and frustration is like a volcano ready to blow. I might as well be spitting in the wind.

I needed something to lighten my heart a bit and got that this morning. A little bird, constantly singing a lovely song, flew in my back porch and into the open backdoor of Sparky's room. I went to help it back outside, but it immediately found the way out where it came in. A few minutes later, beautiful singing on the front porch. When I stepped out there, again it found its way out immediately. It got out both times so fast I couldn't tell what kind of bird it was, just some yellow. It didn't bother Sparky a bit, but Remmy was much too curious, lol. I guess this is why Remmy has pushed out a couple screens. To get a better view or to set a trap? LOL

Take care everyone.

Hello. Noel, we could have kept each other company. Another sleepless night here. I seem to have fallen into a deep rut and can't find my way out of it. I wanted to take a nap this morning but have felt like my eyes are taped wide open, same way I've been feeling at night. Also, for some reason I keep thinking today is Sunday. Guess I'm starting to get my days and nights mixed up or something....

Kt, what a cheerful distraction for you. Getting lost for a little while in watching animals, wildlife, and nature is the most refreshing thing for me.

Robin, enjoy your trek around town today.

Noel, the early morning quiet time is a nice retreat for you. Allergy is no friend to good sleep! Maybe you can doze some today?

I'd better get us some lunch. Going to try to scrape up some leftovers. Not going to try cooking today.

Hello everyone,

Woke up to a much cooler morning, 65* high of 75* later! Tomorrow 70* with light rain. I'll believe it when I see it!!

I started the insomnia route about 6-7 weeks ago. Had a doctor appointment and asked him about it and he gave me a new pill that hasn't worked on the 1/2 pill at bedtime so am going to try the 1 pill dose and see what that does for me. I think most of it is from my allergies and the heat. Hopefully if it cools down it will ease my sleeping habits and everybody else's too.

Even my chihuahuas have been too warm!!!

Hugs to all and have a good weekend.

Newt: hoping a full dose will bring you relaxed sleep tonight. Maybe that will inspire your dogs too because they read our emotional states. I think many of us are completely over summer and ready for a cooling trend too.

Afternoon everyone. Summer has arrived here again. It's not very hot, but humidity
is high.

This morning, there was a baby rabbit in the road. I'm don't know if it got lost or not.
It wasn't sure where to go. I got too close it with Goldie. When
we went back around,
it was gone. Goldie saw another rabbit and made it hop.

kt, I'm glad you had a surprise visitor come by after your week.

Sorry to hear people aren't sleeping. I hope everyone has a better night's rest tonight.

I just posted some videos on my YouTube site. A few from the museum and some
from my flowerbed. The ones who get headaches, you probably don't want to
watch Winter Brilliance. It has a lot of colors and flashes.

Kat, I will have to watch your videos another time. My internet is running slow right now. Thanks for the warning about Winter Brilliance. Brilliance is not a good thing for me. I wonder if Goldie would actually hurt a rabbit if she got the chance.

Newt, I hope your full pill helps you to get some sleep. Going without it is so exhausting. I don't know of anybody who would want to belong to an insomniacs club but it seems like we have one here, whether we want it or not.

We have cloud cover now. It is 88* and sprinkling lightly, off and on.

Heya Everybody! :) I hope that everyone is having a fantastic day. Today has been a trying day. I took my cat to the vet as he seemed to not be feeling good again and the vet prescribed another medication. The medication seemed to be working last night but today I am not so sure if it has been effective. I am really worried and scared about my fur-baby. I am doing everything I can but I am fearing the worst. So it has been a day of tension.

The weather was okay today but not the best. Right now it is clear and 72 F although we had everything here today, rain, sunshine and thunder. This summer the weather has not been very good as it has been cool and rainy for a lot of it. If anyone is giving away their really hot temperatures, I'll take them. I need to feel some real summer heat before the summer is over.

Wishing all of you a super Saturday evening! Sending each one of you so much happiness!

Kat: yes I didn't think it was Goldie's fault. Just the bunny would move after seeing/hearing one nearby if wild.

Sweetie: awww so sad about your kitty. Hope it just takes more time for the medication to work. It is stressful when our furbabies are ill because we feel helpless. You are taking good care by seeing a vet. You may have all our humid hot heat you want! Happy evening friend.

Good evening everyone. I guess I stole everyone else's sleeping hours. After working 26 hours in 2 days ( Thursday & Friday ), I slept, and slept, and slept. I missed most of Saturday, but got up long enough to heat up leftovers for lunch.

The sleep was good for me since it shut off my worrying for a while about the visit to the retinal specialist Friday.

OC - I'm glad someone is helping you get set up with mailed prescriptions. It'll be so much easier for you. I love it for all of my maintenance drugs, and I'm only 5 minutes from the pharmacy where I get my antibiotics filled.

Squirrel, all that sleep sounds heavenly. I'm sure you needed it. Yes, I'm looking forward to getting the prescription meds sent to us.

Sweetie, I hope your kitty responds to the medication and gets to feeling better. I'm sorry for all the stress it is causing you. I hope you get some warmer weather.

Kat, Goldie sounds like a sweet dog.

RS: how wonderful that you slept soundly throughout the night and part of today. Hopefully you now can enjoy a rested Sunday. Good news. Praying for your retinal specialist visit too.

Thanks for the pictures of the rotundra. Beautiful. Glad it brought sweet memories to you. Goodnight.

Sweetie,

I hope that your kitty feels better soon. Maybe he just needs a few days on the new pills to feel better. I hope so.

Hugs to you both!!
