    I would prefer Mercenary John, but I think realistically, he is working for the ISA again with Shane. I would love to know why everyone calls Gina's John, the Pawn, the John that worked with the real Princess Gina 1985 and before was trained as a killer and a soldier, but he wasn't brainwashed. I know a lot of people FFed through the sub scenes, which is why they never picked this up, but John told Gina on the sub something he learned when Stefano took him to the lab to turn him into Roman. "That basterd finally figure out a way to take tone person's memories and shift it into the psyche of another. I'm not just talking about memories, but also personality traitsm everything that makes you who you are." That leads me to believe that when "The Pawn" came to Salem, that is the first time John's brain was messed with.
