Is this Blake Berris? I think it is - but am not quite sure.

They are spreading around the "talent".... beware of him over doing it.... No now that is Nick, not Blake Berris that goes swimming in the cold water of the Salem River during the cold months of June or July.... I think they would have been taping then.... Good job Meldrel.....

I didn't really "get it" either Poirot :) Not the best of the Bud Light commercials. I found it on you tube this morning and have watched it several times, then I googled it and also looked at Blake Berris' twitter account to see if he had something about it. I can't find anything that states it's him - but you're right about his voice - maybe that's what threw me?

Looks like Bud is doing a new campaign on twitter with the hashtag #WhatsYourSuperstition hence the song playing repeatedly. Every time it plays, his team scores:).

It really has nothing to do with the beer itself, just a campaign trying to generate buzz. I hope they kill it by Super Bowl time as it's kind of silly.

In any event, good for Blake Berris(Nick)! I did think it was his voice at the very beginning but maybe not.

I tweeted Blake Berris and asked if that's him in the commercial- he didn't respond but favorited my tweet.
(Which keeps it in a favorites folder on his account). . . .

Yes, that is him in conversation with another guy at the end. It is the voiceover that is not him.

I saw this commerical last night for the first time after seeing this thread earlier and all I could concenterate on was listening for his voice lol. It was definitely him speaking at the end.

Have you guys seen the McDonalds commerical with Freddie Smith (Sonny).

Nice to see some of the cast spreading their wings and venturing out, even if its only tv commercials.

I would agree with the "spreading the wings" comment. And tho Days & NBC used to not allow it, I think they have loosened up, inasmuch as they are paying the actors much less, demanding even more from them. But they do get time to do other things with the shooting schedule giving them at least 1 week a month off, plus they have the days they don't work...sometimes 2 or 3 days for the week.
    Daysdegrassi and cryin4days appreciate this.

I'm so happy to see these commercials. It definitely seems to be a looser policy. Look at all the endorsements Ali Sweeney(Sami) does--she has announced 2 new ones over the past couple weeks. Plus a lot of cast members are on online soaps though not sure if those are paid opportunities. I never could figure out the business model for those. :)

Pleased to see the actor on a commercial, even if it was for beer.

There is an earlier thread here from a while ago that has the commercial embedded. It has actually been on tv for a few weeks.
Will see if I can find it.
