Days of Our Lives casts very well-known actor for role later this year.

Look for a very well-known actor/actress, someone famous outside of daytime TV, to make his or her "Days" debut later this year.

Mega-fan Julia Roberts? Her or Jennifer Aniston would be the only stunt casting I could tolerate at this point.

Maybe it's Doctor Drake Ramoray (Matt LeBlanc) from Friends? LOL!

I was just recently thinking about that. It would be funny to see Matt LeBlanc turn up as Dr. Drake Ramoray, even just in a quick cameo scene.

LOL, a "return from the dead" character? Didn't he fall down an elevator shaft in an episode of Friends? Joey was very upset that Dr. Drake was suddenly killed off. LOL

Drake Ramoray fell down the elevator shaft and was killed off. (because he ticked off the writers by saying he wrote his own lines in a SOD interview) But then Days (on Friends) said Drake was really in a coma and his twin brother, Striker Ramoray, was brought in. Joey figured he was a shoe-in for the role of Striker, but he didn't get the part. Later, there was an episode in which Drake received a brain transplant from the show's biggest female character (played by Susan Sarandon). Then Drake was back to being a regular on Days.

LOLOL, that sounds more ridiculous than the stuff James Reilly used to write. LOL

James Reilly was the writer during that time! LOL

He even appeared on Friends (although, you didn't see his face, just his back) when Joey did the SOD interview that ticked off the Days writers and Drake was killed off the show.
