Posted in spoiler section since Lamon Archey (Eli) hasn't debuted yet.
DRAKE HOGESTYN (John) REMOVED FROM CREDITS.
Drake Hogestyn (John), who was on leave from "Days" for over four months after being injured in May 2016, was removed from the credits today. Although he has not appeared since November 1, his name was in the credits each week until today. It's already been announced that Hogestyn will be returning soon, and in the newest Soap Opera Digest, Ken Corday mentions that John and Marlena will be a bigger part of the show later this year. His removal from the credits today (16 weeks after his last appearance) could indicate a switch to recurring status, just be an error, or perhaps indicate he briefly left the show and signed a new deal upon his return late last year.
LAMON ARCHEY (Eli) ON CONTRACT.
Lamon Archey, who debuts as Eli Grant later this week, was confirmed to be on contract in the credits today. In other news, Brandon Beemer (Shawn) was listed as a guest this week, so that solves the mystery as to why his name was removed from the credits last week. His last contract airdate was February 9. He was recurring for his last two appearances (February 15 and February 20).
