Am guessing most viewers are gonna want to do two things today…knock Lexie off her high horse, and wipe the smirk off Nicole’s face. Madison arrives at the Kmansion at Victor’s invitation, soon followed by Brady, and then Maggie walks in. Victor welcomes all, has an announcement he wants to make and wanted to tell them in person. And now, in walks Ian, which upsets Brady, wanting to know why he is there. Ian jokes a bit about having met Brady before, caught him playing with something he shouldn’t. Victor introduces Ian as the new CEO of Titan, Brady has a fit, letting Victor know that Ian is Madison’s husband. Cue the surprised looks, Ian makes a couple cracks about reclaiming his wife and Brady not liking it. Brady goes to grab at Ian, who is too quick, shoves Brady into a chair, and pokes his walking stick into Brady’s chest. Victor is appalled, he will not have his family treated like that, tells Ian his offer is recinded, and to get out. Nope, Ian has a contract, his lawyer has checked it, and he will see everyone tomorrow, reminding Madison how much he insists on punctuality. He takes his leave, Victor goes to call his lawyers, Maggie leaves the room, Brady stalks out, Madison runs after. She pleads with him to no avail,. She admits lying and withholding the truth about her situation, but Ian is not in her heart, just Brady, she loves him. Tears are coming, but don’t move Brady. He doesn’t know who she is or anything about her…and he takes off. Inside, Victor is commanding his attorney to check every single line of that contract and find an out. He hangs up, fixes himself a drink, mutter about Brady being right, he should have checked the background and found out all he needed to know. He let this jerk blindside him. This never would have happened before…..he stops. A slightly ticked Maggie says Before what? Before you married me?

At DiMansion, the family stares glumly at the TV, but Nicole keeps saying not to worry, she took care of everything. EJ wants to go concede, she is adamant he not do that yet, but he won’t be swayed. He will look like a sore loser, so they take off. Kate meanders around the room (wearing the most awful, ugly black hose with red splotches/circles on them) Stefano knows something is bothering her, she says it is business. They talk a bit about the envelope, Stefano calls Nicole, wants her to call & tell him what she had done to “fix” this. Kate decides she is going to go down to the office and see if she can take care of whatever before Monday a.m., and she leaves.

John & Marlena are readying to leave for the airport, Bo, Hope & Roman arrive. Roman is going to drive them there, comments about Alamania being lovely this time of year. LOL. Next, all are at the airport, Bo & Marlena go to do something or other, as Hope has a flashback of being with John when she was Gina. Bo & Marlena return, problem with their visas. They realize this is all Stefano’s doing, Bo is going to try and get hold of Carly, see if she can point them in the right direction, while Marlena calls a friend in the State Dept. She is on hold with him, flashing back to John telling her about sub sex with Gina, when Bo arrives to say he can’t reach either Carly or Nicholas. Now all 4 are together, when a man comes out, everything is o.k., their visas have been approved. Ah, yes, they all jabber a bit, gathering their things together, until the man returns, apologizing, because only John & Hope’s visas are approved.

At the Horton Town Square, the crowd is chanting Lexie’s name, Abe is calling her to come up, Jen standing in front of her, urging her to go up, but she turns and runs off. Abe thanks the crowd, talking of this being such an emotional time for them all, and cuts short his speech. Jen rushes up, what is going on. Abe tells her Lexie knows about the debate questions, I have to find her, and goes rushing off.
EJ & Nicole have arrived, Nicole still urging EJ not to concede. He insists. Jen comes up, gloating a bit. He congratulates her, wants to find Abe, Jen plays dumb. And over near the arch, Abe has caught up with Lexie, who really rakes him over the coals for being just as bad as her father and her brother. Abe reminds her of EJ stealing the jobs program, and arranging for the debate questions, so they had to something to thwart him. She starts to blame Jen, Abe won’t let her. She goes on and on, even mentioning how she almost went to the same dark side as her father and brother, but what stopped her was the good and honest man she loved. (Man, she has a short memory) She runs off, only to bump into EJ who wants to congratulate her and then Abe, Lexie just plays dumb and walks off, as Abe comes up.
Meanwhile, Nickie & Jen have just a couple words when Nicole gets a call, takes off, as Jennifer gets one, too, one that shocks her. Nicole runs up to EJ & Abe, telling EJ not to offer congrats just yet, seems there is a problem with the ballot tally, and there is a challenge. Jen comes to tell Abe of this, he just heard, too. And now, in walks Roman, a cop leading a guy in handcuffs, and another man who tells of the recount, ballot tampering, and wants to talk privately with Mr. & Mrs. DiMera. They go off, Lexie has been looking at the guy in cuffs, remembering seeing him with Jen inside the Pub. She shakes her head. Abe is denying doing anything, begging lexie to believe him, that he would never do anything like this. And now, right in front of Roman, she blabs about the debate questions, Roman is going “what?”, and she runs off. Roman takes hold of Abe, saying he knows Abe is innocent of this vote business, but we have to go down to the station and talk about this. Abe nods. They leave, and the smirking Nicole tells EJ how she promised she would take care of everything. Hugs.

In another area of the mall, Kate has stopped, flashing back to Ian telling her how he never forgot her. She shakes herself, turns, and there he is, his charming, smarmy self full of compliments again. Oh, he knows Kate has been thinking about him. They are nearly nose to nose now, Ian going on and on, and he moves in for the kiss. Kate hesitates, just a moment or two, and then definitely reciprocates.

And over at DiMansion, Stefano has unlocked the drawer, taken out the envelope, containing a single sheet of paper. He reads, exclaiming, no…..no….it can’t be. He lays the paper down, goes to turn on the TV, hears about the vote recount. He give a half smile, shuts off the TV, returns to the table, picks up the paper, reading it again, tears forming in his eyes. He sets it down upside down, hand on his forehead, as tears roll down his cheeks.

Since all 4 had problems with their visas, and both Carly & Nicholas had lived in Alamania, Bo & Marlena thought maybe Carly or Nicholas could advise them on who to contact to get this all straightened out, so they could go. Marlena then called whoever she knew in the U.S. State Dept.
