Victor was the best part of the show with his one liners. Interesting to hear
him say Celeste. It's been a long time since she's been in Salem.

I wonder how big Salem U campus is. Eve was able to find Paige.
Maybe it took longer than we saw.

Jeremiah seems to have a good head on his shoulders. He wanted
to wait before awhile before they took the next step.

Thank god, Jennifer came home when she did. I was afraid Eve and
JJ would do it on the couch. Alice would roll over in her grave if they did :)
 
It's funny how Salem U looks exactly like Salem High and Bayside High (from Saved By The Bell) and also only seems to be 1 building!

At the end, Clyde was also not very nice when he told Kate to mind her own business. You could tell he was very annoyed that she had gone to Victor. There was a look of fear on her face for a moment. At least I think there was.

Nicole honey if you need to adjust your dress every time you stand up, it's probably time for a longer dress.

I did not like Marlena today but I did like Eric's turquoise mugs.

And I can't believe Victor mentioned "Curtis Brown". I was thrown for minute. Doesn't everyone in Salem know and refer to him as "Curtis Reed"? It's funny how the writers remember history only when it's convenient.
 
I actually tweeted about that during the show because I was so annoyed about it.

On another note, bravo to NBC for airing the promo for the US Figure Skating Championships tomorrow. Great way to target the demographic. Plus the Northeast is expecting a big snowstorm tomorrow so good timing.

I've never had my parents come looking for me while I was in school, even when I went to the community college a mile from our house. Certainly not to discuss personal issues in front of other students. I would have died, lol!!
 
Curtis Brown/Curtis Reed, same difference. I'll have to look at my "Who Killed Curtis" files to see how Victor referred to him. I can hear Bo, John, and Roman saying "Curtis Brown," and Austin, Carrie, and Billie saying, "Curtis Reed," but can't recall what Victor called him.

I worked 13 hours yesterday and this seems like a good episode to skip. I was starting to wonder where the heck Aiden was, but what an odd scene.

I'm hoping/speculating that Kate is the Maggie in this Kiriakis/Weston war. Let's hope the shot is fatal, though.

Kind of ironic Kate is dating Clyde who is basically just as bad as Curtis Brown, who Kate was married to and abused by. History repeating itself looks. Curtis was always under his fake last name Brown, and we still don't know if Reed was Billie and Austin's real last name or Curtis.
 
Curtis Brown was his real name. After he beat up Kate for being pregnant by Bill Horton, he left her on the side of the road, took the kids, and went on the run. He changed the last name to Reed, and changed the children's names to Austin, and Billie Holiday Reed. This is why Kate did not realize they were her children when they first came to town.Curtis raped Billie......and that whole story is sort of changed just a bit......and we have Clyde raping Jordan, who takes Ben, changes their names and goes on the run moving from city to city.
In both cases......they ended up in Salem, with their true identities eventually being revealed. That is what is too sad about Kate, who had the abusive husband, whose children were abused, and yet she is the one that made it so easy for their abuser to find them.
 
Paul never raped Nicole but forced her into becoming Misty Circle porn star (her movie was Lockeroom Lolita) when she was underage, also forcing her to do drugs. Paul attempted to rape Nicole as a adult until she shot him and ran off where Nicole was thrown in jail in Puerto Rico while Victor tried to get her out.

And yet, none of the Salemites ever demonstrated an ounce of sympathy for what Nicole had been through. :angry::beat:

:back: I'm sorry, this is off topic. So going back on the show, I can't say I'm interested in anything right now. I just know I'm not going to like what's coming. Nicole is going to be trashed many times before she has the chance to prove Serena is bad to the bone.

I hated the way Marlena and Eric talked about Nicole. Neither of them have great memory when it comes to Nicole helping them, and when it comes to their own mistakes.

I hate how Nicole has to grovel to Daniel now. I used to want them to be together, but I hate how Dan is now constantly putting pressure on Nicole to be perfect, despite what he tells her.

I can't begin to say how much I hate the whole Jennifer/Paige/JJ/Eve saga. The tingles I get when I watch Eve and JJ make out ! :sarcasm:

And while I hope Victor will take down Clyde, I also hope it won't take years before he does it. And Kate can leave now, for all I care.

And the writers managed to pretty much disinterest me in Hope and Aiden. Aiden has barked one time too many for me to think there's nothing wrong with him. I don't find him likeable anymore.
 
Of all the women raped in Salem (a lot) you would think more than one would say "the same thing happened to me" to the latest victim . I guess Days don't want to drudge up every rape story in Salem history when it happens but still.
