Rafe, Will, T, and Sonny have all just finished up a game of basketball. Rafe is thanking the guys for recruiting T to take Lucas's place, Sonny tells him not to be mad at him, he tried to recruit Ben. Ben says he needed the hours. Will's phone rings, Zoe is looking for a report. Rafe accuses Sonny of cheating (jokingly) and after Sonny and Will walk off, Ben tells Rafe he wished he could have played, as he was really looking forward to knocking Rafe on his *** again. Rafe tells him he'd be glad to hear that he reached out to Jordan again and she did a fine job of that herself. Ben wants to know if Rafe pushed her too hard, Rafe tells him he didn't really have a chance, couldn't say much of anything. Ben tells him that she's protecting herself, and Rafe says he doesn't blame her. He hurt her badly. Benis questioning the truth to Rafe's feelings, wanting to know if Rafe really feels so badly or just wants this to get back to Jordan when she and Ben talk. He thought he knew Rafe better, but also didn't think Rafe would cheat on Jordan, either. Elsewhere in TBD, Will and Sonny are discussing how different Chad is now that he's back. They don't seem to care for it.
Abigail and Jordan are babysitting Ari, small talk, catching up. Jordan mentions how she's missed seeing Ari since she and Rafe broke up, Abigail apologizes for missing their lunch date and asks if Jordan and Rafe have had a chance to patch things up- Jordan figures out that's why Abigail left, tells her that it's just really hard because every time she looks at him, she sees him in bed with Kate. Jordan really loves Rafe, wishes there's a way to get past this. Abigail is reassuring her, telling her it's normal, and that what isn't normal is Sami and EJ forgetting everything that happened and getting back together. Jordan wonders what if you're supposed to do that when you really love someone, maybe those two have it right? Abigail tells her not to compare herself and Rafe to Sami and EJ. The topic changes to Jordan's family, she gets uncomfortable when Abigail asks about Ben's dad and says she has to get to the hospital.
Speaking of Kate, she and Chad are having a business meeting of sorts, in the Square, of course. Chad tells Kate that he talked to Stefano last night, her name came up. He says he told him that everything was proceeding, according to his plan. Kate is happy, and then Chad says he also told him about his offer to help Kate destroy Stefano. Kate is not so happy now. It's all part of the plan, Chad says, and Kate wants to know whose side he's really on. Kate isn't playing games, and nobody hates games more than Chad. She wants to know why he hates Stefano so much. Chad says Stefano was back to his old ways the second Chad left that hospital in Boston. Chad isn't his son, he isn't anything more to Stefano than a pawn. He's in town on a mission to go after Sami on his father's behalf... And Kate, too. Actually, he's mostly after Kate. Chad says Stefano isn't going to get that, but he thinks that Chad is on his side. Kate is skeptical. Chad wants to keep EJ and Stefano on the sidelines permanently, and unlike Sami, Chad won't be such a fickle friend. They toast. Kate will see Chad back at the crypt for dinner, Chad will tell Stefano she said hello.
Sami is in DiMansion living room, greeting the kids, who have just come home from camp... In nearly October. Anyway, Allie has poison ivy, and Johnny just wants to know if they can go back to camp next year, to which Sami replies "I missed you, too." Johnny wants to know where EJ is, Sami tells him they worked from home this morning, but that EJ had a meeting and wanted to be home to greet them too. He will be back shortly. Lucas is with Sami and the kids, kids are mentioning what they did at camp. Sami sends them off for snacks/breakfast, and they exit, leaving Sami to ask Lucas if he was upset with her for working with EJ again. He tells her it's rinse, cycle, repeat with them, in a few more words. He is clearly angry, and Sami is defiant. She doesn't owe him an explanation. Lucas is jealous, she says, she knows he hates EJ- and so did she, up until ten minutes ago, Lucas interjects. Sami warns him to be careful, he is starting to sound like his mother. Lucas says if, and that's a big if, he sounds like Kate, he will take that as a compliment. Sami says EJ will protect her from Stefano, and Lucas laughs. Wants to know why Sami sucked Kate into all of this, but Sami sucked her into nothing. Sami now wants Lucas to convince Kate that Sami and EJ are stronger than ever and aren't against her, mentions that Roman and Marlena gave Sami and EJ their blessing and now is asking for Lucas's. He refuses, tells her that she's on her own.
EJ is with Clyde, in the privacy of the park. Clyde has a purse, tells EJ he thought he would appreciate receiving this in person, wants to kick off their new association right. EJ is stone-faced, as Clyde asks "now ain't that a pretty sight?" It's all there, he says, to which EJ replies that it better be. Clyde wanted to toast their new beginning, but no, because they could be doing better, and soon. EJ fails to see how, but Clyde has taken it upon himself to take over some new territory. Don't worry, it happened peacefully, but EJ isn't happy. This is his town, he says, and Clyde will stay in the area EJ designated him. EJ must not have made clear that he does the thinking, all Clyde does is what EJ tells him to. EJ leaves, and Clyde whips out his phone, needs someone to set up a meeting.
Clyde is watching Kate as she leaves her meeting with Chad, catches up with her. He had such a lovely time with her last night, thought he'd ask for a little more this morning. Noticed she was talking to a handsome young man, wants to know if he's any competition. She explains he is Stefano's son, but nothing like those other two. Clyde has never met them, Kate said if she has her way, he never will. This probably isn't a topic she should get into with him, has to go, and he says again that he just wanted to tell her what a great time he had last night. Lets her know if she's interested, they're quite a match, kisses her hand.
Chad and Jordan run into eachother, she seems nervous, Chad wants to know if that guy has been bothering her any more. She says no, and he mentions his elbow hurting. Says it's just a little tennis elbow, he is fine, she insists on looking at it. Tells him that either he has tendonitis burstitis or a severe case of hypochondria. He admits there isn't anything wrong, just wanted to take her mind off everything, maybe she will let him make up for his deceptive ways and buy her a cup of tea? She looks flattered, agrees to go. They're having a great time, both laughing, and Rafe sees them from around a corner. She's feeling much better, thanking him for the tea, and Rafe approaches, welcoming Chad home. Chad is sorry to hear about Gabi, Rafe says she is being strong and making it through this so she can make it home to her little girl. Chad has to go, so does Jordan, but Rafe asks if he can have a second with her. He's warning her about Chad, he's a DiMera, and she tells him that she judges people based on how they act and how they treat people, not based on their family.
