    Oh, brother. Confrontation day, and can’t say any of it was interesting, mostly being tooo dragged out. Let’s start with Ian & Kate, who are kissing, she slaps him, he pulls her into another kiss, she reciprocates. Lots of inane conversation about how he could never get her out of his mind, it was always her, and Kate accusing him of trying to play her, while he denies it. This goes on thru the show, with him being seemingly bewitched, her definitely bothered, but neither bewildered at all.

    Now over to DiMansion, where EJ & Nicole return, calling out to anyone, but finding the place empty. Nicole is all excited, sure that EJ has one. He is also excited, but still wary. She is calling him mayor, all ready to give the DiMera sofa another workout. The phone call comes, EJ has won, tho the news will be held for 24 hrs. He has time to prepare his victory speech which he already started. She says it is upstairs.He wants to call Lexie, she puts him off, saying Lexie has just learned her husband lost, is probably devastated, especially with him being accused of tampering with the votes (EJ finds that hard to believe himself). Nicole notes Lexie’s marriage may break up, she will have no where else to turn but to her family, which is what Stefano & EJ have wanted for some time. All is good. EJ takes the champagne upstairs, she is going to follow. After he is gone, she sits on the sofa, looking rather glum. But next she is in her black teddy, climbing onto the bed, and the celebration begins, (with champagne glasses thrown to the floor, and no doubt as to what is going on.

    Over at the Carver house, lexie is packing up as Abe comes in. And I honestly cannot bore you all with this confrontation. Needless to say, Lexie rakes Abe over the coals, refusing to believe he did not fix the election results, since he did so for the debates. She will not listen to reason, just keeps accusing him of becoming a different man, of being no better than EJ or just like them. I mean, she goes on and on and on. Hard to believe Abe never reminds her of what he has forgiven, but Lexie is relentless. She finally manages to get Abe to tears, as he tells her she should not go, he doesn’t want Theo’s routine upset, and he will go, unless she doesn’t want him to. Lexie is silent, Abe’s tears too apparent.

    Now over to Madison’s hotel room, where she digs thru her dresser, coming up with her wedding ring. She answers a knock at the door, to find Brady standing there, wanting to hear from her about this marriage, yada, yada. She explains that in college, she began Mad World, operating out of the trunk of her car, not being all that successful. While giving a sales pitch to a store owner, Ian happened by, heard her, felt he never heard a better one, could not understand the guy not taking her on. They had lunch, then dinner, and…..breakfast. He sort of got to her, invested in her company, it took off. So actually, Brady says, he did not save your life, he saved your business, making you rich. He wonders why she cowers when he is in the room, that is not her. She claims this is the way it always has been. She just does. She goes on about marrying Ian, who was a player, but was besotted with one woman in particular, talked about her all the time, made Madison feel she was not good enough, it was her fault he went elsewhere. And he definitely told her who the woman was…..Kate DiMera. Brady wonders why she has not sought a divorce. In walks Ian who claims she has, but always failed. Divorce is not an option, as he is never going to let her go. Ever.

    Kate returns home, fixes herself a drink, spots the note from Stefano, which says he has to leave for a while, and will be in touch later. She flashes back to being kissed by Ian, then downs her drink.

    Nicole sneaks down the darkened stairs into the study, and calls someone. She says “I have not told EJ what you did, but we HAVE TO TALK. “

    Well that's typical Dimeeera for ya. She can be a total douchebag on Abe but he does one thing wrong and she is ready to throw in the towel on him. How many times has he taken her back....douche douche douche....

    Thank you for the summary. I doubt if I can endure watching the whole thing with Lexie. I have not been one who could never stand Lexie at all but I really can't stand her in this situation!

    I can't think what Nicole could have done that would upset EJ. Seems like she got someone to fix the ballots but when has EJ ever minded cheating?

    I will try to ff Ian and Kate kissing. Makes me shudder to think of it.

    Madison's story/excuse is so lame. But it irritates me a lot to hear someone say they won't let a person have a divorce. Is there actually any place in the U.S. today that doesn't have "no fault" divorce? What is to stop anyone who wants a divorce from getting it? I mean, other than something like threats upon one's life or one's family's life, which wouldn't surprise me with Ian.

    Did my eyes and ears deceive me today? Did I really see Elvis show concern for another person; could it be he really does have brotherly feelings for Lexie. I was a little taken back at first when he asked Nicole if she thought ‘Lexie would return to ‘him’? But then he added return to the fold of the family. In places he actually acted naïve as to think he won the election because he received the most votes without any outside influence, which it seemed like he would really enjoy (if it were true). Although Nicole never admitted to doing anything to influence the votes she was definitely worried about something. Then the last scene as she tip toed into the Parlor with her ever present phone she says “it’s me, I didn’t tell Ej what you did, but we both know the truth and we need to talk.” Well let’s see Stefano is off licking his wounds; Kate was being seduced by the creep Ian; so who was she talking to; no not Mary or Harold….I’ll go with Will since there’s still the issue of who was the guy in the leather jacket or maybe even Quinn. Looking at the Day Ahead Articles tell us it ain’t so that we won’t find out who Nikki is talking to tomorrow?

    Kate and Ian - Ok I’ve had enough. Kate was a full participate in those kisses to even where the shine was off those very voluptuous lips. She’s going to have a lot of ‘splainin’ to do when Stefano finds out, which I would even make a bet slimy Ian will be the one to tell him.

    Madison and Brady –I don’t think her tale of woe to Brady was that strong. We were deceived into thinking Ian saved her life, as in found her homeless, starving, sick, took her in. She wants us to believe it was all because she was so young and naïve and he charmed her into marriage. I do believe the part about him being so controlling.

    Abe and Lexie…yep that’s all I have to comment on these two!

    Poirot, you are so right about Lexie going on and on and on raking Abe over the coals. For her to question Abe about hiding himself behind his moral posturing--and that he is just as bad as EJ and Stefano--is just beyond laughable/ridiculous... The nerve of that baby stealing, test result changing, hypocritical, adulteress!! But, evidently it's a success when we get angry at the stories. :confused:

    Thank you so much for the summary. I watched it in real time yesterday and actually dozed off, so I missed some of what Madison told Brady. THAT'S her story? Big whoop. I thought it was boring and I wanted to throw a shoe at my tv when Lexie was on. I am so glad that ABE brought it up about not messing with Theo's schedule because Lexie wasn't and wanted to prove a point. I can't believe she said he is going on and on -I felt bad for the guy.
