I'll agree, Kate's falling for this setup is ridiculous. That's if we remember that she used to be a businesswoman.
I'd like the boardroom scenes more if John (does he still own DiMera stock from when he thought he was one??) and/or other vets were involved. Instead we get 4 new wooden old guys babbling finance jabber. And it's still barely plausible that Stefano has a board of directors. LOL
There's no winner in the Eve/JJ/Paige scenario and Jen's involvement only serves me to like her less. Stop hassling my favourite couple and let their true love bloom, Haggifer!!! I get they had bad blood between them 20+ years ago. But honestly, MOVE THE HECK ON!!!
Elsewhere, I actually found Clint's story plausible from Jeannie T's standpoint. I've had very casual acquaintances with people like him (friends of friends of friends types) who vanish for 2-3 months then return later when they get something straightened out. Just the kind of person I'd expect Jeannie T to hang with!!
