Days of Our Lives

Nicole is having a dream, that while wearing a sexy teddy, she is confronting Deimos, who wants to kiss her, make love in the worse way, but she is saying no, and he is desperately asking what she wants from him, and then asking the same in a very nasty way. She wakes with a start, realizes she is late, jumps out of bed.

Brady is snoring on the sofa, Theresa wakes him up, he evidently was not able to sleep last night, too much on his mind, so came out on the sofa. They get into an argument about how Brady is always worrying about everyone, trying to rescue them in some way. In comes Nicole, and it does not take long for Brady to get on her case about whatever she is planning on with Deimos. Nicole is insistant that she can take care of herself, has for a long time. Brady reminds her of what happened when she tried to get evidence on Xander, and then on that guy dating Jennifer. Nicole gets a call from Deimos, who wants to see her. Though she doesn't say his name, Brady guesses, and is arguing, until Theresa calls a halt to it all, saying Nicole is right. Now they talk a bit about their company, Brady wants to send Nicole to NY to see the owner of some magazine, Nicole refuses, they argue all the more. Nicole finally gives them each a file, look it over, she has some things to do, and will call Ginger Day, schmooze her on the phone. She leaves.

Jeannie T & Brady resume their argument, with Theresa saying he has a hero complex, is always trying to rescue folks, especially women, he did it with Kristen, with her, with Summer, and now he is on to Nicole. He denies, she tells him to think about it. He gets a call from Victor.

At the hospital, Victor is on the phone with Justin, who is going to see Deimos, begin their "plan". He mentions Victor having money in off shore accounts, Deimos did not know about, not much, but enough. He has a lease on a furnished condo apt. Justin if off to see Deimos. Fynn comes in, chats with Victor, is releasing him, will check on Maggie, not sure if she is healed enough to go home.

Victor is dressed, goes to see Maggie, Summer is asleep in the room, stayed all night. He tells Maggie about the condo, in the same building as John & Marlena, plus Brady & Theresa, which makes Maggie happy, she will get to see them all more often. Maggie wants Victor to forget any plans re: Deimos, but Vic is determined to get his home & money back. They argue, Summer wakes up, then Fynn arrives, sending the other two out. Summer tells Victor she wants to continue to help Maggie, but he tells her to more or less to get lost.

When he goes back in, Maggie wants Summer to move in with them for a while, Vic says no. But she reminds him Summer is her daughter, can help her with a lot, they have gotten close, and she wants this time with her. (Summer hears all this in the hall, door partially open). Doesn't take Vic long to cave, he will do whatever Maggie wants. She knows it is because he loves her. Victor has called his chauffeur to bring the limo around to the hospital front entrance, & gets shocked to hear Deimos fired the guy, sold the limo. Summer comes in, is asked to come stay, Victor makes sure he notes it is temporary.

He has called Brady to come get them, Summer leaves to go pack, Victor gives her a card with the address.

Brady arrives, Maggie is dressed, in a wheelchair. (sorry, a phone call interrupted me here)

Justin shows up to see Deimos, both are rather cagey in their conversation, beat around the bush a lot. But the upshot is, Deimos has taken everything from Victor. But Justin is worried about Uncle Vic, who cannot handle stress anymore, & the stress this has all caused is wearing on him. He wants Deimos to give his word he is done, this is all over. Deimos thinks Victor lost everything, he should just die. Justin says he still has Maggie, but Deimos says, "a cripple"! Still thinks Vic should give in & die. However, what is in it for him. Justin makes vague promises of more or less being in Deimos's corner, when he gets into a bind, which he probably will, in the future....next week, month, year. As D.A. Justin has a lot of say so on what goes to court. He gives Deimos 24 hrs. Deimos asks....then what? Justin only says..."we will see".

Justin calls Vic, reports on the conversation. Vic figures whatever Deimos decides, he will fall into one trap, or the other one. By the way, Deimos now has a butler named Adams. No idea what happened to Henderson, but he probably was let go, just like Charley, the chauffeur.

Deimos gets a call from Kate, who has sent a memo about Titan, one that has pleased Deimos, although he did not like the note she left him when she departed this morning. However, he is happy he met her, has her in his life, and in his bed. She is, too.

Summer is packing, Dario arrives, learns of her plans to live with Maggie. He is still talking of her getting money from Maggie, but Summer no longer wants that life. The only thing it ever got her was a walk into the Pacific. She has a chance at a new beginning and is taking it. Dario is rather surprised. He is gone when she finishes packing, is wheeling her luggage out, opens the door, and there stands some guy...."Did you honestly think I would not be able to track you down?"

Now Nicole arrives, Deimos is offering drinks, she wonders what they are celebrating. Oh he has an offer he knows she cannot turn down, and they will be celebrating. Both have glasses of champagne, as he talks of acquiring Basic Black, knows she & Kate were running it, Kate is now CEO at Titan, so Deimos wants her to be CEO of Basic Black.

Kate has come in, hears this, asks What the hell are you talking about?

Once again, duplicity was in the air in Salem: Victor, Justin, and Nicole scheming against Deimos; Deimos going behind Kate's back to offer Nicole a big job; and slimy Dario suggesting that sketchy Summer skim money from Chez Rouge. It was good to see Salem's adults doing what they do best instead of having to listen to members of Salem's awful, rude, obnoxious teen set. Speaking of Summer, Victor was echoing the sentiments of many posters on this board when he told Summer to "keep moving." Unfortunately, for Salem's leading grouch, she's moving alright -- moving in. This is also bad new for Jeannie T. who will now have the latest object of Brady's savior impulse living right next door. And now Salem's caped crusader, Brady "Super Grover" Black may have to save the California mermaid from the latest slime ball to ooze out of her shady past.

Actually, Brady brought her to Salem, and when Dario finally decided to return to Salem, ran across her, learned about Maggie being her mother, yada, yada, so knowing her being such a con artist in CA, encouraged her about this, being as Maggie was married to such a rich man.

You'd think after Clyde, Kate would be more suspicious of Deimos being a donkey's behind to her. Then again, you'd think after Curtis freaking Brown, she'd have known better than to crawl into bed with any of them. So I think maybe at some point Kate's had a brain injury affecting her memory.

After Curtis, Kate went to New York, became a hooker, then met Stefano, became a high class escort/call girl, and managed to get into the corporate world. One man, to her, is same as the next. But she sure is always hooked up with the bad ones.

I'm surprised Victor's phone works. Wouldn't that be part of his estate? How is bill
being paid... Maybe he got a new phone.

Maggie said she had to see how big the closet was. Did Deimos let them keep their
clothes? Victor wasn't wearing a suit today. Will he wear casual clothes until
they
move back to the mansion?

Why isn't the condo called a townhouse since they are living in the same building
where John/Marlena and Brady/Theresa are?

I'm wondering if Nicole will take Deimos offer. She'll get close to him, but what will
happen to DJ wear. Will Brady and Theresa run the business by themselves?

Sad to hear Henderson was fired. Will he show up at the condo?

Interesting to hear Theresa talk to Brady about his hero complex. Yes , Brady
has saved several women in Salem. Has the hero complex gotten worse
since he has Daniel's heart?

Oh goodie, Summer was on today...FF material for sure! I'm really irritated at the use (or lack thereof) of Dario. I don't like this whole con game thing he's trying to pull. When he first arrived in town he was a little troubled but he turned out alright and left town on good terms to go run Titan Argentina. I can understand becoming jaded from the whole corporate world or whatever but I don't understand the motivation here with him. Why not use him more in scenes with his family? There's obviously lots of story to tell there. This mess with Summer is just stupid.

I'm glad they addressed Victor's money issues: the fact that he has money in accounts that Deimos couldn't touch and Maggie having plenty of resources as well. Good grief. I'd love to be as "poor" as Victor and Maggie. Gimme a break. And can I just say, I HATE that they moved into the same condo complex as John and Marlena and Brady and Theresa. Really??? So now we're going to see THREE of the same sets slightly redressed. Ugh!!

I started watching this episode on DVR at 1:38pm and caught up to the live show at 1:51pm. Thank you Poirot for sitting through this snoozefest.

They have got to be kidding with Victor and Maggie living in the same building as the others. Let's not forget Belle and Claire also live with John and Marlena. And now Summer is moving in too? That's like half of Salem. Nice to see Victor out of a suit.

Not much else to say but I was expecting Summer to tell pop up Dario that she was lying about being Maggie's daughter. But she didn't. Oh well.

It was a very mediocre episode today. Anytime Summer is on, the show just drags.

I was relieved when Victor and Maggie moved into their own condo rather than bunking with Brady and Theresa. So now that set will be used for three homes. We will probably not see John and Marlena at home on the days they show Victor and Maggie.

If they are only going to show Dario scheming with Summer and acting like a hypocrite towards Eduardo, he can just leave. I am extremely annoyed by him and I really liked his character when he was on before. The only scenes I have liked him in since he returned are scenes with Nicole.

I loved that scene at the end when Kate walked in just as Deimos was offering the CEO position of Basic Black to Nicole. Kate has double crossed so many of her colleagues in business including her own son Lucas that payback is so good to see.

One man, to her (Kate), is same as the next. But she sure is always hooked up with the bad ones.
They are not always the bad ones, LOL. Remember, she was also hooked up with Roman, John, and Rafe at different times.

Thanks for the summary. In addition to it being a generally drab show, it was especially tragic in that Henderson was fired and might not be seen for a while. It was also tragic that Summer had to "grace" out screens again, rather than take Victor's advice and scram. Not to mention the awful idea of Maggie and Victor moving into the same complex where Brady, Theresa, Belle, Shawn-D, Claire, Marlena, John, and now Summer will be staying. But maybe their mutual dislike of Summer will do miracles and bring Victor closer to Theresa.

Brady has a woman-saving complex. No doubt it's from acquiring Daniel's heart. Theresa should know this!

LOVED Kate at the end. She's double crossed everyone so much that it appears she's forgotten the same fate can befall her.
