Not too much going on in Salem today. John comes to the cop shop, gets a big hug and greeting from Claire. He & Steve want to talk to her, so she can tell them everything that happened. She is upset that Joey was gone when they got in there. Hope arrives, another hug for her, (but no calling her Gram, lol). Marlena also has arrived, more hugging. Later, John, Marlena & Claire arrive home, Claire expecting to get scolded, no they are relieved she is o.k. But Claire berates herself for not staying inside, WI FI is not that important, her own fault she was taken, etc. She promises to stay inside.
Kayla had arrived at the police station, learns about the blood spots, gets upset, Steve reassures, they go home. Roman has sent a team to the warehouse to go over the place and see if anything is there. Kayla takes Joey's pic, is all upset, Steve holds and comforts her.
At the Pub, Deimos is on phone with Dario, arranging to meet him. Nicole has come in, overhears, tho Deimos doesn't realize it. He hangs up, she pretends she just arrived, they were to have dinner, he begs off, something with business, has to take care of it tonight. She smiles, tis o.k. but when he leaves, she follows him, as he meets Dario, pays him for his services. When Dario leaves, she walks up...Gotcha! LOL. Deimos tries to wiggle out, nope, she heard it all, he lied to her. He wants them to start anew (now back at the Pub), but tho she knew he was having Chloe followed, he had not said it was Dario, or that he broke in to her apt. Back and forth they go nicely argue. He is no saint, he says.
Philip comes to see Chloe, wanting to know exactly who the father is, but Chloe manages to not say, more or less talking in circles. He protests how much he did for her, willing to raise this child as his own, lied to everyone. (she wants them to "break up"). They argue, he talks of perhaps a one night stand, she gets ticked as he means she is a *bleep*....(sorry, ridiculous conversation). Upshot is, she is going to New York, be with her parents, Parker already there, loves it. She tells Phil she is moving out of the Kmansion, will get settled, send for her things.
She goes to the Pub, spots Nicole, asks Deimos for a few minutes alone. Nicole insists Deimos has something to say, makes him tell Chloe he had her followed, that her room was broken into, found her calendar, so he knew about her dr. appt., and he is sorry. Chloe is ready to call the cops, Nicole convinces her not to do so. Chloe doesn't trust Deimos, Nicole gives her Deimos's song and dance about wanting a child so bad, and then not having it. Yada, yada, Chloe doesn't understand how she can trust the man, but tells her the situation has gotten rather tricky now, and because Nicole is so devoted to Deimos, she can't tell her anything. Only that she is leaving town, going to NY, parents, etc. They hug, promise to keep in touch.
Chloe leaves, Nicole tells Deimos that Chloe & Philip broke up, Deimos is rather wary, can't believe Phil would let her leave with his baby. Nicole only says..."for now".
Aiden has called Hope insists on seeing her now, they meet in that private park area. He again accuses her of shooting Stefano, she denies, he whips out the phone, plays the recording. Hope is not saying anything, and in fact doesn't really have much to say. He recites his entire thinking process about what made him suspicious, then convinced she had done it, thought she would never let Monahan take the fall, but she did. She asks if she should now speak into the microphone. No, he is not recording.
What does he want. Well, her, of course. They loved each other once, were getting married, be a family, give him another chance.
She already did that, when he came back. But he lied to her, misled her, etc. She talks of confessing, he reminds her she would be taking Roman & Rafe down with her. He wants her, thinks she could love him again. She says they are over. He gets upset, warns her to never ever say that again. They ARE going to be together. His smile vanishes, as he threatens that he will put her, Roman & Rafe all behind bars, if she refuses. Now he smiles, is sure they will be together again. He walks off, smiling. Hope stands still, turns slightly (facing the camera) a somber expression on her face.
