Days of Our Lives - Thu., Apr. 2, 2015

I am very disappointed in Lucas and Adrienne. Lucas has had a couple of wives cheat on him. Adrienne is a married woman I don't care if Justin is cheating too. That doesn't make it right. And Lucas wouldn't mind if people knew? Did I under that right? Just disappointing.

At least Will did delete that story and was actually doing the right thing. But did he delete it? Will, not the sharpest knife in the drawer, and since that guy showed up at the end I'm wondering if he actually sent it to the magazine? I know it said file deleted, but hey it's Salem. And Paul and Sonny sure are looking at each other a lot!

I really do like Hope and Aiden. Didn't think I would but I do. What will happen if Bo comes back? Or will it just be for him to say it's ok?

Taking another man upstairs in the house of her husband's relatives, yuck.
Yuck indeed, particularly after Adrienne's high-minded statement about the bad effects of cheating and the various times Lucas bad-mouthed the Love Doctor about sleeping with his wife. Meanwhile over at the big Town Square event, the kids were aiming at the wrong people with those super-soakers. If anyone needs a hosing down, it's brat boy Will. Finally, the event could have used a few more booths: 1) "Club Victor" -- with kindly old Uncle Vic serving up Shirley Temples in souvenir club plastic glasses; 2) DiMera Enterprises -- with Chad giving the kids poster-sized autographed replicas of Stefano's portrait (suitable for framing); and 3) Clyde -- distributing die-cast metal toy trucks with "Weston Trucking" on the side and some little packages of imitation "product" in the back.

Wouldn't surprise me if he accidentally sent it to his editor before he deleted it.

I have to confess that I wish today's show had been preempted here; haven't felt that way for a long time.

Ben is giving Abigail enough rope to hang herself. He should take a walk, based just on the flirting he witnessed.

Some more childcare-related remarks from Rafe.

I think Marlena had it right in saying the only reason Will deleted the Dimera/Paul story was because he realized he didn't have the proof to back up the article. Espeically after seeing John and Tori and wondering about their connection.

Loving Paul and Sonny in this episode.

Also in complete agreement, loving all the fun. Days - More of that please!

I think the "tastefully done" comment meant that the actors didn't look as though they were trying to duplicate a Cinemax soft-porn movie.

Yep, Just Samantha ! That's exactly what I meant in my previous post. The actors didn't appear to want to eat each other's face, they didn't tear the clothes, no heavy breathing or sucking noises.

Ciara whispering to Theo about Paul: "His career is over! Tragic." and Hope giving her a slight shoulder shove exclaiming "Ciara!"

Tori tells Will she's the only Japanese woman she's seen in that town. Double

Listening to Will tell Tori there's no reason for Paul to know the truth about his father because it would kill him to know she kept the truth from him for so long. That little rat turd tries to make Tori out to be the bad guy as if he's actually trying to protect Paul. OMG, I've never before wished I could reach through the screen and choke a fictional character, but there's a first time for everything.

Edited to add: 23 minutes of DAYS was interrupted for an NBC news special report and on a day that I actually wanted to see the entire episode.

Sonny said he had shirts back at his office, but that office was one of the Salem PD/hospital office sets. Would it have killed props to find a small corner to shove a desk and door against a wall to make it look like an office that would be in Club TBD. I can't believe DAYS was actually nominated in the Sets category for a Daytime Emmy. This is ridiculous!

I thought it was interesting what Lucas said to Adrienne, sweet, and other stuff.
He forgot one. MARRIED

I laughed when we found Henderson not there. Did they do it in the bed Justin
sleeps in with Adrienne?

I enjoyed Ciara. Later, Aiden and Hope talked about Chase and Ciara being
teenagers Oh no. Trouble is ahead for sure.

I'm glad John was honest with Marlena. Then we see her with Will and
they both think John is Paul's father. I hope they do a DNA test

I enjoyed seeing the characters having a fun day off. Doing things for
the kids who need it.

I guess the takeaway from Lucas and Adrienne is supposed to be: "Cheating on your spouse is bad, kids.:tsk: Unless of course we do it then it's just one of those things that happens." This is just the soapbiz folks.

Other then that this was an immensely enjoyable episode with a lot of mixing of characters that usually don't mix. I never would even thought Sonny and Aidan were even acquainted with each other for example. It was nice seeing characters having fun and I got a kick out of Ciara taking two bucks from Chase. She is a little pistol isn't she?

I'm surprised Tori didn't get whiplash at how quickly Will went from blackmailing her to all of the sudden becoming all conspiratorial with his "We don't know Paul to know how you've lied to him" routine. I know that I almost did. LOL

While yes, the show was definitely an enjoyable one, lots going on, a great deal of interaction between many characters (and kudos to Jason for being able to capture so much of it! ) I am finding Ciara's antics a bit much. Agree she is growing into a handful, but Hope is just smiling and nodding. I like Ciara, and really do not want to see her turned into a spoiled, conniving brat, which it seems is where she is headed. And why do such young children have wallets and paper money so easily available on their person?
