I realize that Nicole was coupled with Daniel, because they seeing each other in real life, and I am guessing the writers thought there might be sparks galore or something.

They did the exact same thing with Nicole and Brady (Kyle Lowder) a while back when the actors were married in real life. It was a similar situation to what we are seeing now with Nicole and Daniel except Brady wasn't abusive to her.

Doug and Julie are also married in real life so perhaps this is a common thing. I've seen similar on other shows.

A straight-jacket appears to be in Eve's future. And, a note to Wardrobe: We get it, the character is very fit.

Good point. Kristen is the same age as Eve in real life and she wears more modest clothing while still looking fabulous.
