Salemites are interacting all over, but not really much is moving forward. Abby chats with Hope at the cop shop, all excited over her upcoming interview with Raines. He comes in, "let's get this over with". Abby is back with Hope, thinks she did well, Hope says if she gets the job, they can do lunch more often. (and don't ask where Thomas is, no idea!). Later, Raines comes back, tells Abby that tho he had a couple more interviews, did not want to waste his time or theirs, she has the job. (Was there any doubt?) Report 9 a.m. tomorrow morning.
Dario is with Myron, who is talking of hacking into some small bank, which is easily done, and small banks never report it, don't want to lose customers. Dario is not keen on that, Abby will be working at the Salem P.D. got to stay squeaky clean.
Abby does show up, all happy, she did get the job.
Sonny meets up with Paul, figures something is going on with Deimos, wants Paul to double check the e-mails, etc. as he thinks Deimos may be expecting a shipment. Paul says he is giving up the townhouse, gonna move in the Martin house, fully staffed, meals included, etc., wants Sonny to move in with him. Sonny says no, he has to stay at the Kmansion to keep an eye on Deimos. Paul is hurt/ticked, leaves. Later, Sonny finds him elsewhere, apologizes, explains. Not that he would not want to move in, but when they nail Deimos, then Paul could move in with him, as the Kmansion will be his.
Deimos has gotten a confirmation about Nicole's whereabouts. He is smiling, pours himself a drink, Vic inquires. Deimos mentions getting advice from Maggie, which he thought about for 2 seconds and discarded. Vic tries to dissuade him as to the hunt for Nicole, saying she will not come back to him, but Deimos is confident, she loved him once, she will again. Vic does his usual insulting of Nicole, calling her names, but warns Deimos that if Brady or the children are harmed in any way, there will be hell to pay. He overhears Deimos chartering a private plane, wonders why not use Titan's, but Deimos doesn't trust the pilots, whose loyalty might be to Brady, since they evidently managed to get him out of the country.
Now Deimos is alone, another phone call, hangs up, well, Bridget & Freddie, here I come, Manitoba. He has a long, long flashback to the last time he saw Nik, she told him she did not love him, etc., and Brady coming and them leaving.
As he leaves the house with his suitcases, Sonny comes in, asks where he was going, Deimos says Quebec, business with Jon Luc. Later Sonny talks with Uncle Vic, learns Jon Luc is on a sabbatical til Sept. Hasn't been in Quebec in months. Sonny calls Paul, tells him to check all the private airports, any flight plans, etc.
JJ & Lani discuss a case of 6 missing girls......all connected to a pimp named Snake. Lani mentions a young girl she helped out, took to the Horton Center, then a halfway house, She calls the gal, gets info and appt. w/Snake. JJ is not happy she is going undercover, but she outranks him, is going to do this, and if he is not going to support her, she will get assigned a different partner. He agrees.
Now Lani is in her hooker outfit, meets with Snake in that alley, JJ is watching nearby, but Snake wants to "test" her first, takes her to some apt. or house, plies her with Champagne. She barely sips at it, he is not drinking, but he keeps talking about the test. JJ meanwhile is putting out an APB on the car, as he only knows it went west, he lost them. Snake insists she drink a bit more, she sips, says she is not much of a drinker, gets woozy. He sits her on a bed, holds her hands, says he will be taking good care of her, as he kneels in front of her.
In Canada, replay of Monday's scenes of Nicole telling Brady she loved him, and them going off to the bedroom. But they get interrupted when Holly wakes up, and more of the same. Go out, get Holly back to sleep, start to make out, interrupted, etc. Both talk of loving the kids, loving the life, loving each other. Finally, Holly quiets down enough and they get the chance to make love in the bedroom. Both are very happy, feel very lucky, time for round 2.
