Eric and Marlena have lunch at the pub and talk. She's giving him a pep talk about not being a wounded bird. He tells her about Victor giving him the tongue-lashing. Marlena is pretty ticked-off. They hug and she leaves. Eric mutters "there she goes, straight to Victor."
Brady goes out and Scooter immediately comes in, starting to spread his slime all over the place. He threatens Nicole (asking if can call her Misty) that if she doesn't give in to his demands, he'll tell his wife who "Bridget" and "Freddie" really are. Brady pulls up and Nicole tells Scooter he better leave out the back door or Brady will beat him to a pulp.
Brady and Nicole head to the kitchen to bake cupcakes and there's a knock on the door. It's Hillary, crying. She tells Nicole that she and Scooter had a bad fight. Tells Nicole that even though they hide it well, things aren't great between them (really?). Says she can deal with his poor work ethic and constant porn viewing, but is really upset when he keeps comparing her to the tramps in the videos. She apologizes for saying that. She says his comparisons make her feel like he's cheating (with the porn), but then asks Nicole (in an abstract way) if maybe he really is cheating.
Nicole talks with her, saying she wishes she could help. Hillary asks, what, kill him? Then apologizes for the "joke", but says Nicole has really helped by being a friend and listening. Hillary says she's going to the shooting range to relieve some stress. She talks a little more but starts crying and rushes to the bathroom. Nicole removes Hillary's gun from her purse. She apparently returns the gun to the purse, as Hillary comes out of the bathroom and leaves. Nicole then goes online and searches "nearest gun store."
Tripp and Joey go back and forth. Tripp goes to the other room and Jade tells Joey she'll talk to Tripp on his behalf, so Joey leaves. She tells Tripp that her life was much like his, as an unwanted child. Says Joey can't really understand what it was like. But she tells Tripp how nice Steve really is.
Kayla comes over to see Tripp. Joey tells her that Tripp and Jade are out together. Flash to Tripp sitting in Club TBD drinking a beer (he's 21??). He's having a flashback to Angelo telling him he inherited the Vitali fortune. Jade joins him and they talk; she asks him to buy her a drink. He tells her she's underage and in the process of growing a new liver (LOL). She says her liver is fully regenerated (already??); says if he can't afford a drink, she'll go to a kegger somewhere. He agrees to buy her a drink.
Jade starts drinking the beer, says how good it is, the first one since her surgery. Said the doctor told her it was OK. Just then Kayla walks in and tells Jade to put the drink down. Tripp snaps at Kayla and says she can't talk to Jade that way just because she pays Jade's rent. Tripp storms off and Joey tells Kayla to just let him go when she wants to go after him.
Steve goes to meet cousin Angelo, who says he doesn't believe the ISA wanted Ava dead. Says he knows Steve killed her in cold blood. Steve tells Angelo to stay away from his family. Angelo reminds Steve that Tripp is his family, too. Angelo tells Steve that Tripp doesn't need him for anything, especially now that he's rich. He explains that he (Angelo) inherited the Vitali fortune and that he was the one who set up a trust for Tripp when he found out he was Ava's son.
Marlena goes to see Victor about what he said to Eric. "Eric went whining to mommy" was Victor's reply. Marlena says not to talk about her son and if he wants to talk about someone, talk about his brother, who is an animal. Marlena storms out, while Victor condescendingly asks if she's not staying for a glass of wine.
Eric, back in his office, is online hunting for signs of life from Nicole. He has briefly dozed off and dreams of running into Nicole somewhere and telling her not to do it, like she's in danger. He tries to work (at his desk), but is distracted and begins writing a letter to Nicole.
Nicole sits at the laptop, pondering what to do. Brady walks in, they talk. He says she seems more like her old self again. She says she feels like her old self again. He goes back to the kitchen and Nicole gets a wicked smirk on her face as she flashes back to Hillary saying "kill him??"
