Days of Our Lives

At the DiMera home, Johnny is talking to his mom and Daddy about going to an amusement park, riding roller coasters. He drags out a picture of the last time, where the kids were screaming as they rode the coaster, while mommy & daddy were kissing. Sami tells him she will try and make it so the whole family goes again, with Johnny asking if they all can scream. Yes, and he runs to tell Allie & Sydney. Now Sami is tightlipped as she accuses EJ of using the children to try and get to her. He denies this, walks around shutting the doors, then tells her he overheard her talking to Kate, and she was thisclose to forgiving him. He can imagine what horrible things Kate said to have her back off like this. He is by the desk, as she is trying to work, telling her he loves her. She sighs, he is never going to stop, is he? No, he will tell her this every single day. She gets it, then stands up, gathers her things together. She has let him stay there, but now is going to the police station, and will return with a policeman and a restraining order.

Sonny reads Will's article, thinks it is terrific. He notes that Will doesn't name Abby, just refers to her as a young girl. They begin making out, when Will pulls away, Zoe, the magazine editor is coming soon. He goes to answer the door, but it is Abby, who came to see her godchild. Yes, she is awake, but Will says Sonny was just taking her for a walk, and Abby could go, too. She would love to. Sonny goes to get Arianna, Abby notices the pages of the article, wants to read it, Will says no, no yet. Sonny comes out with the carriage, and they leave, just as Zoe arrives. Now Zoe reads the article, loves it, can't wait to finish it, sounds a bit concerned about some of what is in there. Will assures her every word is true. She is excited, definitely cover material. The Public is always dying for anything DiMera. Welcome to the feeding frenzy.

In the truck, Kristen learns they are headed for Salem, is not a happy camper. She tries to convince Daniel to let her go, paints scenarios of Brady going even further into drugs & alcohol., doom & gloom. Daniel laughs, originally she wanted to use Daniel to see Brady, and now she doesn't want to? Well, not this way. She talks and talks, but is eyeing a box cutter that fell on the floor. Eventually, she manages to grab it, and tries to slit Daniel's throat. It is a struggle but he manages to knock it out of her hands, then promises to tie her up again. The truck lurches, he falls and a bunch of boxes fall atop him. Kristen gets up, pushes a few boxes away, then kicks the motionless Daniel. Satisfied, she turns away, only to have Daniel grab her leg, pulling her down.

Jen is at the hospital, Maxine tells her of Daniel not showing up for a couple of things at that conference, and doctors have called. She is worried, but Jen won't do anything. Maxine is going to call Maggie, Jen starts to call someone, but gets a call, it is from Hope, who is back, and swamped. Jen wants to talk to her, so will come to the station. She does, tells Hope what Sami has been up to in re: Abby, and that Abby had the affair with EJ.

Brady opens the door to find Nicole, who needs a friend. She tells what happened in Rome, and that Eric won't return to the priesthood. She is feeling bad, hugs. Brady talks of his dad, that he did what he did not because he loved Kristen, but because he loved his son, Brady, and just wanted them to be just that, loving father and son. And now that may never happen, as he may never come out of that coma. He is going to the hospital. Nicole offer to go with, no, he wants to be with his dad alone. When he gets there, Maxine says John is having an MRI, won't be back for an hour, and he should go home, get some sleep. Later we see him asleep, barechested of course, perspiring, restless, then waking up.

Marlena runs into Eric in the park, is so happy to see him, hears that he was cleared and given the chance to return to the priesthood, but that he is not doing so, has lost his vocation. No, he is not in love with Nicole, but is consumed with hatred for her. He looks up and there stands Nicole, who puts her purse on a bench, as she tells Marlena how sorry she is over what happened to John. She starts to say something to Eric, who says they have nothing to say to each other any more. She will leave, turns, and some guy comes running past, grabs her purse, Eric chases after him. Later, a cop is talking to them, getting info on what happened, then tells them to all come down to the station to give statements.

Abby sits in the square with Sonny, talking over her situation. She is job hunting, not having much success, is not worried about Sami or what happened, as the only people who know what she did are her family and friends.

Sami storms into the police station, sees Hope, needs her help. But Hope says she heard about Abby. Sami looks at Jen, figures she has been spinning the tale of what her *bleep* daughter did. She hands the restraining order to Hope, making sure EJ has to stay 100 yards away from her, that is what the judge says, Hope confirms it. EJ comes in, wanting to talk to Sami, with Hope telling he he is not staying 100 yards from her. In comes Eric, Marlena, Nicole, Eric, the cop & the perp. The cop is going to book the guy. Another cop says there was an incident with a truck down the block, he is going to check it out.

Sami is babbling to Hope, EJ trying to get her attention, everyone talking, when Sami turns around, stops abruptly and stares. Everyone turns at that, and there, in the doorway, stands Daniel, escorting Kristen whose hands are tied. Kristen more or less smirks at them all.

A pretty enjoyable show! Worth waiting for the past few days and getting through those boring episodes. This one was really good.

Daniel and Kristen had watchable scenes in the truck. Them talking, the struggle over the box cutter, etc.I also liked Jennifer talking with Abby over the phone and telling her to be patient with the job search. I wish Jennifer could have more talks with her daughter about jobs and other realistic things, instead of always just Daniel or other relationships. It was nice to see Jennifer AND Abby today. And for once, Maxine's concern about Daniel had nothing to do with his relationship with Jennifer-which is great in my book!

I loved seeing Brady and Nicole as friends. I wish we could see Nicole and Rafe interacting that way again.

I am glad Sami finally went to get the restraining order. At first, I worried she'd cave in to EJ's wants and all. Her line about him 'riding Abby' was the line of the day, :rotfl:.

How many times are we gonna have to see Hope flashing back to dancing with Aiden, and that music? I like them, but the flashbacks are a bit much.

I absolutely am loving Will right now!

Marlena and Eric need to get over themselves!

That last scene made me laugh so hard! Sami was about to start with Nicole I think. Poor Nicole is never going to get to make her statement about the idiot who snatched her purse. I knew as soon as she put it down something was going to happen.

It's beyond time for a police detail to patrol that park regularly, in my opinion. When does a crime NOT occur there, and if not an actual crime, someone lurking in the bushes listening to something they shouldn't be?

I like that Marlena is being less judgmental now and is actually trying to help Eric instead of interfering with his life in the name of protecting him. I thought the purse snatching was contrived and I was actually surprised Nicole didn't run after the guy herself.

I wish Marlena had got to the station a little sooner so she and Eric could both hear Sami insulting Abby to Jen's face. I would have liked to have seen her reaction to Sami being a nut case.

I'm glad that someone finally told Hope what was going on, since Kayla left it out yesterday. After dealing with the Kristen situation I hope that Hope tells Sami she is not welcome around Ciara until she cuts it out as she is a bad influence.

I thought the scene with the boxes falling on Daniel was silly. It seemed like they were dragging things out so that Kristen coming to the station could be the cliff hanger. I want to know how Kristen was finally arrested since the last we saw she was fighting with Daniel and trying to get back to the box cutter. I did like that when Kristen was goading him about Jen, Daniel seemed to realize that what was going on right now proved Jen's assessment of him was wrong.

I hope Brady didn't use again. He looked all sweaty and everything when he was lying in bed. Could have just been nightmares but I know from my years with my addict friend that cocaine makes you sweat and act nervous like that. His scenes with Nicole were nice.

I want to see that side of Brady and that side of Nicole from now on, no more self-destruction from either of them please. Also I hope that a side effect of this police station scene is Nicole and Daniel beginning to repair their friendship. I like her friendship with Brady too. If she and Daniel reconcile, she'll have two good friends and it won't be the world against Nicole anymore.

I, too, hope Nicole and Daniel make up.She needs as many friends now as possible. I also want Daniel to forgive Rafe so they can be the awesome group of three like back in 2012. I just loved that.

The boxes falling on Daniel was hilarious and ridiculous. Same with that box cutter being open like that. But, not surprised with these writers.

I'm actually shocked that Hope didn't already know about EJ and Abby sleeping together. I thought most of the town knew thanks to Sami's loudmouth.

HM, I was thinking the same thing about that park. They might as well close it down, lol. It's even more seedy than the pier! And the mugging with the purse was weird...I could see if it would bring Nicole and Eric closer, and maybe we will see that soon. But for now, just seemed like a cheap way to get Marlena, Nicole and Eric to the station. I did think something was funny/odd about that jogger running by Marlena in the beginning of the show.

I really like Brady and Nicole in friend mode. I was trying to figure out how everyone was going to end up at the police station, well, all but Brady I guess. As soon as that guy stole Nicole's purse I was like aha! Lol. Kristen and Daniel are probably both in need of a shower and teeth brushing. :rotfl:They both look pretty disheveled. This thing with Hope being jealous is a little high schoolish. I know she feels weird about having feelings for another man but she needs to just face it and "divorce" Bo. It just seems odd to me that there hasn't really been any kind of in depth conversation between Sami and Marlena since everything went down with EJ.

I really like Jennifer's whole ensemble. The dress is gorgeous, hair and makeup very pretty. Abigail on the other hand....wow, that is the most hideous outfit! I do not like Nicole's hair. I'm not sure if it's the cut or just the way it's styled.

I liked the Brady & Nicole scenes. Hope, not so much (and I agree, totally high school drama and not very good at that). Sami, not even a little bit. SleazeJ, less than Sami. (I did enjoy Sami's art digs though.)

Eric: Die, please. Or go to Colorado. Or Ulan Bator. Somewhere. Thanks.

Kristen & Daniel zzzzz...WAIT they're in Salem now, time to wake up!!

I wonder what kind of brainchip Maxine has in her. Apparently she can't be on screen without propping Dr Wonderpants. :(

Will needs a personal shopper. That shirt was terrifying, almost as bad as the one Sonny was wearing the day he delivered Ari.

OMG I know, Jason! I was going to say that earlier, but forgot to. I HATE Will's shirt with a passion! I didn't think of the Sonny one until you brought it up.

Sparkster, I actually don't like Jen Jen's look but enjoyed what Abigail had on. Or, maybe it just looked better to me today, lol. Mostly, Jennifer's hair today looked bad to me because of that bun-it just looked too big, lol. I like Nicole's hair now, but it looks better long.

Pity the poor Salem P.D. It makes one of their rare arrests -- the jogging purse snatcher -- only to have it upstaged by Dr. McScruffy marching the Salem witch into the police station. Perhaps, Hope should take advantage of this by arresting EJ for violating the restraining order and locking him in the same cell as Kristen, resulting in a DiMera family reunion in an appropriate location. Even if the guards don't overhear anything incriminating, they might find the EJ-Kristen nasty bickering and wild accusations entertaining. As for Sami selling Stefano's Jackson Pollock, doesn't the Phoenix have any personal property? The way things are going, Sami will soon be donating his expensive ties and silk socks to a used clothing drive and giving his fine wines and liquors to the Pub or Club TBD.

So Sami sells a Jackson Pollack painting that's worth $20-25 MILLION dollars for $500 THOUSAND? Dare I hope this is a Princess Gina forgery and that Sami is arrested for selling it as the real thing? What a great mother to sell something that was intended for her children's future at fire sale prices!:sarcasm:

OMG I know, Jason! I was going to say that earlier, but forgot to. I HATE Will's shirt with a passion!
To me, Will's shirt looks like one of those Magic Eye pictures that look like a bunch of dots until you squint the right way to make them form a 3D image.

I'm sure Sami knows enough about art to know she sold it
below what it was worth

The stuff with Kristen and Daniel was silly. I guess Daniel's
super powers came back when they got back in Salem.
He was able to get the box cutter, then get up from falling down.

It's going to be interesting to watch tomorrow's show.
Will Marlena go to Kristen and slap her? Will Jen ask
Daniel if he's now dating Kristen?

I liked Sami's shirt.

Eric and his whining "but mommy, I hate her!" is so childish. The writers really should be embarrassed for writing that scene today. If Hope is acting high school, Eric is in nursery school. I liked the Nicole/Brady scenes, but strongly dislike the dye they put in her hair. (Or gee maybe I should say I hate it.:sarcasm:)

I felt the same way about Eric when he said that!

Good show, I did like the ending where everyone was at the station- at least it wasn't at the Horton Town Square!!

It's corny that Daniel is the one who brought Kristen in, but at the same time, I got a kick out of it.

Oh, and I did like Jennifer's dress.
