Days of Our Lives - Tues., Aug. 19, 2014

:clap:Thanks for the info and the laugh DrBakerFan :)

The thing I don't get about this storyline is that back when Nicole and Daniel came back from the Chyka adventure, Hope told them both that any evidence obtained from Chyka's cabin was completely inadmissible because it was obtained illegally. So how is Trask building any kind of case against Kristen when the evidence that Daniel recovered can't be used against her? It would seem the case boils down to Eric's claims and Nicole saying she found him in his hotel room, which doesn't seem like a solid case.
I did some checking on this and not surprisingly Hope is wrong. Evidence obtained illegally by private citizens on their own initiative is generally admissible. The exclusionary rule is designed to protect citizens by deterring police and other government agents from unlawful snooping. If McScruffy and Nicole had been working with the Salem P.D. things would be different, but if memory serves the great Chyka hunt was strictly their own idea.
